It takes a while, but they make it—a new set of keys in each of their pockets, opening the door to their new apartment. Theirs. A warmth flashes through Akira’s chest at the word, knowing this is something that they share now.
Akechi sweeps into the room immediately after Akira opens the door, impatient as ever under the guise of efficiency. His eyes are flitting between corners, mental maps being drawn up as he crosses one arm under the other and taps a finger against his cheek. “It’ll do,” he says, as if they haven’t already signed a lease. They’d taken a tour, too. Akira smiles, knowing Akechi won’t turn around to see him and hit him for it. Nothing can be easy with him—exactly how Akira likes it.

Or: Post P5R, Akechi and Akira move in together. Akira takes to cooking for them both, and more than anything he's just grateful he gets to sit down each night with Akechi across from him, sharing a meal.

Summary
They just need some more coins. They, and more specifically, Goro, need to simply find a way to earn more coins and get this miserable operation done with. It’s the one thing left to ensure his plans come to fruition.
But Goro knows the nature of these cognitive worlds all too well. Pair their naturally unfair behavior with the rigged games of the casino—getting more coins will be no small feat.
Especially not with his damned cognitive self being involved.
