“And, I mean,” Daniel continues, bowling over Alex’s feeble attempt to get a word in edgewise. “This video isn’t exactly going to put a halt to the Great Conversion. This is more of a petty-revenge porn kind of thing, yeah?”
“Why, this is journalism, love,” Armand says with flippant finality. “You of all people should recognize, we’re simply breaking a headline. The people need to know.”

"Perhaps you would like to make love first?" Armand chooses to take advantage of one of his last opportunities for sardonic jabs at Daniel Molloy's expense, "One last fuck before you enter the great beyond? How long has it been, Daniel?"
Uncertainty, amusement, an erotic thrill, and mortal fear move through Daniel like a shiver. Wave after wave after wave of second-hand human adrenaline falls over Armand as Daniel processes the general fucked-upedness of his situation. With all the natural eloquence afforded to anyone born in the past century, of course.
"Yeah," Daniel manages after a minor stunned silence, broken only by Armand's disbelieving laughter. "We can do that."

Summary
Armand is overwhelmed by it then. The rage. The indignity. He bought Louis those shoes, and he picked them out for him earlier that night. It was he who built this penthouse, who secured his meals, who doted on him like a loving mother. It was he who was the aged vampire, it was he who made the choice whether or not he could hear Louis’ thoughts, it was he who saved him from the sun time and time again and it was he who was stronger, faster, and more bloodthirsty than Louis.
“I do not wish to play this game tonight, Louis,” Armand manages to say through gritted teeth. His fangs are cutting into his lip, but he doesn’t spare the thought to retract them.
Louis startles backwards just a centimeter, clearly surprised by the lack of title, or any other endearment for that matter. His expression hardens, almost imperceptibly.
It’s always Maitre, or love, or beloved, or dear, or heart of my heart, never child, fledgling, infantile idiot monster who can barely crawl, let alone feed himself, and certainly never Louis, not in these moments. Armand bites his lip harder to keep the words from flowing freely. Iron assails his tongue.

Daniel's mouth opens, then closes. He leans back against the couch. "You want to rape me?"
"Yes-- well, no." Armand furrows his brow. "Yes, I think it's best if we do it in that direction but... I want to do as the humans these days do. I'm sure you're familiar. I want to discuss a scene with you, and then I want to act it out."
Armand grows frustrated with Daniel’s rigid, modern, viewpoint on his human years. He suggests a little role play, only, Daniel is cast as the devoted servant, and Armand the master. No actual rape is depicted in this fic.
