Summary
Rios eyes searching for hers in the darkness, her soft voice whispering “I want to see you, baby”, her hand fidgeting with the light switch of the lamp on her nightstand, before Agatha catches it and brings it back in between their tangled bodies.
So, so many times over the past months, Rio had tried, had asked, never with urgency, always with kindness, and not once had Agatha been able to give her what she had desired. She had wanted to, she always wants to, but she is selfish, and she isn't ready to be without Rio yet, and after Rio sees her, really sees her, sees her naked body without concealment, without anything to hide it, that is for sure what she will find herself confronted with. There is no way Rio will look at her and still want her.
or: Agatha is in love. Rio is perfect and kind, Rio is beautiful, and Rio adores her. But Agatha is caught up in the insecurities her own mind is inflicting on her, unable to let herself be seen fully, wholly. Will she learn to let her guard down eventually and allow her lover to see all of her? Or will her hesitancy lead to her losing the woman she loves? -

Summary
“Do you even remember why you hate me?” Rios voice is too soft, too caring, too similar to the voice that used to whisper she was in love with Agatha.
She tries to answer, to find words to shatter Rio the way she´s shattered. But her tongue betrays her.Rio steps closer, slowly, giving Agatha the option to move away. She doesn’t. She has no idea why.
“Do you even hate me?” Too soft, too caring, too much like she´s still in love with Agatha.
Her palm rises to cup Agathas face. The contact with her skin burns like fire, but Agatha has learned no pain compares to what she´s already been forced to endure. So, for a moment, she stays.Or: Three years have passed since Agathas world shattered into a million pieces that she hasn´t been able to put back together since (to be fair, she hasn‘t tried). Having lost the people she had loved most in the world, Agatha lives as a shadow of herself, trying to numb her indescribable pain. Suddenly, the past she hasn´t been able to move on from appears in form of her ex-wife. The walls Agatha has constructed around herself threaten to crumble, and suddenly she´s forced to face everything she spent three years trying to bury in the darkest corners of her mind.

Her head whipped around, and she was met with the brownest eyes she had ever seen. People said brown was a basic eye color, but Agatha thought if they would take one look into these eyes, they would fall to their knees begging for forgiveness for ever daring to utter such words.
For a moment, the world stilled. Which had absolutely nothing to do with the gorgeous woman who seemed to have materialized out of thin air right next to her, no, it must have been some glitch in the cosmos or something. Obviously.
Or: When Agatha agrees to a blind date (that's not really a date, according to Jen) to make her best friend happy, she knows it won't lead to anything. After all, she is straight, and this blind date is a double date, with a woman being who she's supposed to meet. But when she finds herself face to face with Rio Vidal, the most intriguing person she has ever met, Agathas world is turned upside down. Suddenly, she is forced to reevaluate everything she has believed to be true about herself. -

The words spoken were less than a whisper, but they still reached Agathas ears, as well as every last corner of her soul.
For a few minutes, neither of them spoke. Rio just held her in her arms, murmuring sweet reassurances in her hair and kissed the crown of her head every now and then. Agatha could feel the warmth radiating from her girlfriends body, and she noticed her own heartbeat slowing to match Rios.
Or: During her first time sleeping over at her girlfriend's place, Agatha has a nightmare. Rio takes care of her. And in the end, has a proposition.
