“I want him.” Jirayu’s hands dropped, his eyes following. Victor’s expressive smile fresh in his mind, reality crashed. Victor’s eyes, locked on Jirayu’s face (for the last time, though he hadn’t known it then) when the pile of towels and robes had moved. Victor’s lips, trembling as he blurted that he was going. The immediate feeling of his world collapsing as Victor’s back disappeared, both from the bathroom and then far away from him, forever, away from the island.
He and Somsak sat quietly for a long time.

After surviving the events at Eden, Jong Woo wants nothing more than to return to Busan and move on with his life. He feels he's earned a break after the ordeal he just went through. But before he can so much as book his ticket home, all hell breaks loose.

Unsurprisingly, the world is promptly plunged into chaos, forcing Jong Woo to once again fight for his life — this time against the undead.
