There wasn’t anything Clouse could do fast enough to prevent the frustrated tears gathering in the corners of his eyes. “I want this, Garmadon. Do you?”
Garmadon swallowed tensely. “I don’t know. Maybe I will.” There wasn't a feature on Garmadon's face that seemed to not be pressed in deep thought.
“You're thinking too much,” Clouse hummed. He gripped Garmadon's hip tighter and dared to inch his face closer to the edge. “Just for tonight can we stop thinking?”
Garmadon squirmed under Clouse's hands. “How do I stop thinking?”
Clouse bit the inside of his cheek, before allowing his breath to fan out over Garmadon's lips. He shivered.
Moving his hand from Garmadon’s cheek to his other hip, Clouse felt a surge of confidence. “I can show you, if you'll let me.”OR
Ever since Garmadon began training under Master Chen, Clouse had become obsessed with him. He knew the chances of being rejected were high. He knew Garmadon would likely leave some day and go back to fight with his brother in the Serpentine War. But still, there was no reason not to at least try to make the obsession mutual.
