When a friendly new mechanic named Evan arrives at the Autobot base, Optimus Prime is pleased to see (Y/N) making a new friend. After all, the two humans share similar interests, spend their days laughing together, and seem to genuinely enjoy each other's company.
There's just one problem. Optimus can't seem to stop noticing it.
Every conversation.
Every shared project.
Every joke.
Every laugh.
As the days pass, Optimus becomes increasingly aware of just how much time (Y/N) spends with the new scientist. Meanwhile, Crosshairs notices immediately and makes it his personal mission to point it out at every opportunity.
According to Optimus, he's not jealous.
He's merely observing.
Unfortunately for him, nobody else believes that.
