They’d done this sort of mission for the Order before- carefully planned, yet wildly unpredictable. They knew the risks, but Remus couldn’t shake the churning unease in his stomach as their target approached.
The burly man who slid onto the barstool beside Sirius was as large as he was unpleasant, bulking shoulders stretching his patched coat tight at the seams. A dark tattoo of a skull and snake peeked out from under his grimy sleeve, confirming their suspicions.
“You’re too pretty to be drinking here alone,” the man drawled, voice low and gravelly, an unsettling grin stretching across his scarred face.
“And you’re too drunk to be talking to me,” Sirius retorted smoothly. His tone was light, but his hand hovered near his wand.

Summary
James Potter gaat voor een trimester naar Beauxbatons, en in zijn plaats arriveert een Franse student op Zweinstein. Sirius Zwarts en hij kunnen het onmiddellijk goed met elkaar vinden. Ondertussen worstelt Remus Lupos in stilte met gevoelens voor Sirius die hij nog maar net begint te begrijpen. Terwijl Sirius zichzelf dwingt om zowel de romantische interesse van de uitwisselingsstudent als Remus' innerlijke strijd te negeren, wordt het steeds moeilijker om alle ballen in de lucht te houden. Langzaam beginnen Sirius en Remus te beseffen dat er iets diepers tussen hen aan het groeien is.

Summary
Something unreadable is on Kakashi’s face, but he doesn’t seem impressed. “You two are eloping?”
“No,” Naruto says pointedly. His gaze drops to the floor. For once, he chooses his words carefully. “But if he can’t stay, then I’ll go with him.”
Kakashi’s voice is grave. “You’re the number one candidate for Hokage. You tirelessly ranted on and on about how this is your dream. Are you going to give up all that hard work?”
“It’ll just be a little while,” Naruto mutters, not quite believing himself.
“Surely you aren’t that naïve, Naruto,” Kakashi warns. “If you leave with Sasuke, I don’t think we’ll ever see you again.”
“I’m not being naïve,” Naruto says. “I would come back.”
Kakashi’s voice has dropped any pretence of humour. “I thought you hated people who lie to themselves the most.”
After their legendary battle and final fight in the Valley of the End, Naruto slowly heals in the hospital. Sasuke doesn’t.
Three years later, whilst on a diplomatic mission to the Hidden Grass Village, Naruto encounters a masked mercenary who takes him by storm.

He had never heard of it. Sasuke squinted, feeling another wave of intense pressure against the back of his eyes.
“Simply put, your body is losing chakra at a much faster rate than it is generating it. So much so that normal medical ninjutsu is being completely absorbed and expended almost immediately. I fear this is going to require a treatment that’s a lot more unorthodox compared to normal medical ninjutsu.”

When Sasuke over-exerts himself in a battle, he develops a chakra-deficiency disorder. In order to get better, he needs to stay in physical contact with a chakra donor until he can recuperate enough chakra to rebalance his network. Luckily, his "one and only" friend is anything but short on chakra.
