“Keep going," Kaiser says. teeth catch his bottom lip as he sinks further into his seat, sprawling with deliberate casualness that somehow makes the small couch feel even smaller. “Keep performing that beautiful disdain.” There's no mistaking the way his gaze drops, slow and obvious, from Chigiri's burning face down to his throat, his collarbone, lower still before dragging back up unhurried.
