Chapter 1: Author's Note.

To those who still follow this work,

 

I have some overdue good news: I'm finally gonna restart this story!

However, I have been re-reading this throughout the years and realised that it needs a polish. And a re-write.

But don't worry, the same plot threads still follow. I will just be expanding and providing more from our main duo.

My original plot and draft chapters were VERY convoluted (as convoluted as this ship is to be fair), and it's a mess. It's why its taken me so long to even have a clear framework for this story.

But now, I actually have some form of cohesion in the plan for this plot!

I am still very happy that some of you like this story.
It's funny. In the beginning, all I really wanted was Foxx/Ash smut that WASN'T noncon. But I also want to flesh out their complex relationship into becoming "partners".

They were never going to be a healthy pair, but the appeal of the potential between them was what enticed me to return to it.

I wanted to flesh out Foxx more! no more one-dimensional villain! Not only him, but some members of his legion! I've always been inspired to write about him and his crew. 

Just know that even if I humanise them, they are all still bastards. They kill for money and are canonically sadistic. 

I do not condone their actions.

In short, I'm excited to begin again! I have so much in store for these two.

For the ones who like the old story, unfortunately, I had to delete all chapters for this to happen. I apologise but it's for the best.

I'm sure you'll still like the new angle!

Expect lots of pain and and angst because this will not be smooth sailing (for the characters and me lol).

Thanks again for those who have waited so many years. Now your waiting will be rewarded!
