In a park a green haired girl was looking at a golden tube that just appeared on her right arm. “Kaa-san!” The girl screamed as she tried to dislodge the item.
“Izumi!” A woman shouted as she heard her daughter scream in fear and froze as she saw her daughter swinging her arm trying to get an item off. “Let me try to pull it off.”
Several hours later and in a hospital room…
“May I speak with you in my office, Midoriya-san?” A doctor asked as he glanced at the young girl that was still poking at the golden addition.
“Izumi, I’ll be talking to your doctor. I’ll be right back.” Izumi’s mother told her daughter as she nodded to the doctor and after both left the girl looked at the gem on it.
“What are you?” Izumi quietly asked as she hefted it. “Could it be my quirk?”
In the doctor’s office…
“Your daughter’s arm is encased in a material that is unknown but from what we have found out it isn’t gold or any kind of metal. But what is odd about it is the fact that your daughter’s arm is stuck in a gunner’s grip as shown here.” The doctor stated as he showed an x-ray to the mother. “I’ve had to theorize that it is her quirk that just manifested.”
“Mine is just attracting small items to me and my husband’s is fire breath.” The mother stated in shock.
“A mutation isn’t that common but it is believable. But now you have to get it registered and it has to have a name.” The doctor stated with a sigh. “We can let Izumi name it if you want.”
“It is her quirk, so she should be given a say in it.” Izumi’s mother stated as they started to head back to the room when a blast of dust came out of her room.
Inside the room…
“Wow.” Izumi’s eyes were lit up as a dust cloud swirled around her then reformed the golden tube getting her to sigh. “It fell back to sleep?”
“What fell back to sleep?” Her mother asked as she ran up to her daughter who had a grin on her face.
“My quirk, it seems to be asleep, and I got it to explode off me but I don’t know how I got it to do so.” Izumi stated while still grinning.
“So what are you going to name it?” The doctor asked as he noticed that nothing in the room was desturbed by the blast.
“Magun.” Izumi stated as her eyes went half lidded and glossy, the gem glowed for a fraction, and her smile faltered, but just as fast as it happened she was back to normal.
“Magun?” The doctor asked, getting Izumi to blink and look at the gem.
“It woke up just for a moment.” Izumi stated, shocking the doctor and then noticed the gem was dull.
“I see, it has a mind of its own, and for the time being it is sleeping so you can build your body to take whatever it can do.” The doctor stated as he left the room. “I’ll bring you a quirk registration packet and discharge paperwork so you can go home.
