Chapter 1: The Journey Begins

Chapter Text

I was alone. I didn't know how long I was like this but, I felt lonely all the time. That was until...he entered my life.

I was an infant inside a wooden crib wanting the attention from my father who was a scientist. But he never even showed any happiness to me, leaving me alone everyday.

It was dark and stormy out that night and I was supposed to be asleep but I just couldn't.

Not much later I heard a creak, a nearby door had opened, I couldn't see who it was but I couldn't hear any footsteps near me. In the distance to my left a light turned on. I heard a voice, one sounded like my father although the other..I did not recognize. Minutes passed by then a crack of a gun and a howling shriek was the only thing heard.

It stopped and it fell silent.

I was shaking slightly, nothing happened for a few minutes until I saw a silhouette of a tall person. It was drawing near towards me and I shut my eyes wanting the mysterious shadow to go away. I then felt something brush against my cheek, I slowly opened my eyes and stared up at the stranger.

Red ruby eyes staring down at me, they were pretty eyes..I grabbed hold of the strangers fingers and squeezed them with curiosity. The red eyed man smiled, it was small, he gently lifted me up and carried me away. I wondered where we were going and where the man was taking me.

But I would then know in the near future...that he will be a part of my cherished memories forever.
