We're twins

Summary:

Idk, if someone else gets ideas, lmk so I can read your fics. There is a distinct lack of crack in my life and I thirst for it, but I'm a true neutral so I suck at writing pure crack until it just ends in suicide.

Idk if near the end is crack-ish or not but meh.

Might never update cuz I'm shit at actual idea's.

Work Text:

Usually when you die, you'd think there would be nothing more after. But instead, for one child in particular, in that moment, they were reborn. Crying out to the heaven's because 'fuck it's loud, put me back!' They then were being cleaned and swaddled. And when they finally opened their eyes, it was to another baby like them, a man, and a woman. "Well Mrs. Midoriya, congratulations, you gave birth to two healthy babies."

The man looked shocked before smiling. "Inko. You did so good. They're beautiful, just like you." Inko cooed at the babies, doped up on anesthesia and feeling light. A far different sight to the raging woman whom had been cussing her husband out only a few minutes ago. "So precious. Oh we have to name them Sashi!" Hisashi hummed. "For our boy... I'm rather fond of Izuku..." Inko hummed.

"Oh, and for our baby girl... Senshi." The man laughed with joy, getting to hold his son now while Inko held their daughter. The nurse filled out the birth certificates for the twins, Izuku being 5 minutes older. And so, after a week, they were sent home. Senshi and Izuku being put into the same crib as one, the other, or both would whine and cry if they were separated. The months passed and it was at 9 months old Senshi started to mimic all she saw.

At first she'd use the furniture to stand up, bouncing in place happily. And when she'd watch her brother she'd coax him into following, which the boy would do so with a grin and happy babbling. Senshi gave smaller smiles and happy squeals. And soon, they were toddling, Senshi mimicking the adults walking, and Izuku playing follow the leader. In the same vein, they were potty trained by the next month.

Several whom saw them said it had to be an intelligence quirk or something similar, but the parents didn't care, waving those other's off. That type of mental quirk wasn't in either family anyway. Inko being a weak telekinetic, and Hisashi a fire breather from a long line of dragon related quirks. The mimicking leader learning style went even as far as when they were 4, in kindergarten. Senshi liked the picture books, Izuku liking the colors and pictures.

Senshi took to reading like a fish to water, Izuku following as Senshi always taught her technically older brother everything she learned, but she also went and did things he wanted, like playing hero's. They never really interested her, but Izuku loved them, and so since he wanted to play hero's and villain's, she played the villain to his hero happily so, as playing always made her brother light up with joy.

"Don't fear, why? Because I AM HERE!" Senshi smiled. "Ahh, All Might! You will never defeat me, when the time runs up, this city will go ka-boom!" Izuku gasped. "I will stop you villain and save everyone because I am All Might!" And so the game continued in their backyard, having gone to play after school.

"Izuku, Senshi, dinners ready!" Izuku and Senshi quickly cleaned up and went to eat. Hisashi had just walked in, looking tired and the family gave thanks before eating. "So munchkins, how was school?" Izuku excitedly explained about the classes and what they did, Senshi waiting her turn to speak. "Daddy, the kid's were being mean too. They called Zuku a Deku cuz Kat read his name wrong and said how we're losers cuz we ain't got no quirk yet."

Izuku looked down shyly. The older twin much more passive and wanting to keep the peace, even if there was none to begin with, and Senshi would bluntly tell the truth, even if some would call it tattling. If you do something wrong, you get in trouble. You call them a tattle tale because you know what you did was wrong, and that's that. "Did you tell a teacher?" Senshi nodded. "Sensei said that they're just playing and that it's nothin ta tattle about, that it'll stop when we get a quirk. But that's not right! Cuz they're still bein mean! Sides what if we don get a quirk?!"

Senshi huffed. "And I said how they put Tsuka in time out for bein mean before, and that quirkless people are cool too. Like Uncle Nat and Auntie Saki!" Hisashi and Inko shared a look. "What happened next sweetie?" Senshi huffed. "Sensei put me in time out for tryin ta get the others in trouble." Hisashi and Inko were livid, but then Senshi continued. "And then Sensei tried to put Zuku in timeout, saying how since we're twins he must be the same way but they didn't cuz I said I'd tell the principal how they were being unfair when Zuku didn't do anything, but Zuku sat near me and waited for my time out to be over."

Izuku was playing with his chopsticks. He didn't want to worry their parents. He heard the older kids say how if a kid without a quirk annoyed their parents enough, then they could be given up just as easily. Senshi had heard the same, but looked straight at the older kids. She then went on to say how that was stupid cuz basically everyone is quirkless until they get a quirk, if they get one. And you're not allowed to use it in public anyways so what's the big deal?

If Senshi were honest, she'd tell you about how she remembered her last life as an average gen-Z kid and knows this is hundreds of years into the future. She couldn't wait till they were old enough to buy energy drinks. God's above how she missed her heart attack inducing coffee concoctions. Not to mention their disassociation potions. She also knew they had to wait until they were older so they could explain they weren't always a girl. That sometimes she was a boy, sometimes they were neither gender, and at random times they wanted all the genders.

They would definitely be getting her slightly older twin to start working out though. Their family on both sides had a higher percentage of quirkless people, so she knew they were likely to be both quirkless. She didn't mind, considering how technically they were quirkless before anyways. But the chaos they would wrought could wait, now? Now time to watch and see if their parents would do anything against the school. Turns out, they will.

When Naomi- Sensei looked at the younger Midoriya twin with wary fear when they walked in the next morning, also cracking down on quirkist behavior. Senshi happily watched his brother playing with Kat as he half concentrated on reading. Uncle Kaidame, Hisashi's own twin, came to pick them up that day after school. "Uncle Kaikai!!" Izuku beamed, racing forward. Senshi smiled slightly as he followed. "Hi uncle Dame."

The man chuckled. "Hey Bun and Kit. Surprise! Your dad and mom are working late, so I'll be taking you to your gram's place until they can come get you. How are you both today?" Zuku chattered on as they got set up in their booster seats. Senshi hated it but he physically wasn't old enough to legally not sit in one, nor was he big enough. Kaidame got into the driver's seat, listening contentedly as he drove away carefully.

Senshi knew his uncle was technically younger than him, had heard the man one night threatening someone that tried to hurt their family. Senshi found out and from then on the two would swap stories, after all Senshi was an older gen Z and Kaidame was a younger gen Alpha. Senshi liked to tease when no one could hear and call the man a kid. The man would retort very maturely... by sticking his tongue out and saying how he's technically older now. Senshi would just roll his eyes in amusement.

Kaidame smirked as he saw a specific sign. "Road work ahead?" Senshi didn't even bat an eyelash. "Uh yeah, I sure hope it does." Izuku looked so confused as their Uncle busted out laughing. "Shi-chan?" He hummed. "Just a joke video Zuku. Uncle Dame is just bein a fortnight kid." That caused the man to squawk in mock outrage as Izuku giggled, remembering what Senshi explained about the old game, knowing his twin was kinda odd. Izuku knew Senshi was different, and he didn't mind one bit.

He'd follow his little brother anywhere. Izuku did know about Senshi sometimes being a different gender, his sibling told him afterall and he had explained it to the older boy. Izuku was coming to question his own gender, planned to ask Senshi lots of questions soon, as soon as they weren't all jumbled in his brain, at least. Before long they were pulling up to the Midoriya's estate. Senshi proudly leading Izuku to go greet their grandparents, whom doted on the boy's lovingly.
