Chapter Text
“L-leave him alone, Kacchan!” Five year old Izuku yelled shakingly as he stood in between Kacchan and another boy.
The other boy had brown-grayish hair and big lips. Those lips were the reason for most of the bullying, although Kacchan only started when he heard the boy wanted to be a hero.
“Are you trying to play the hero again, Deku? You know you can’t become one without a quirk.” The blonde kid yelled as he popped an explosion in his hand and charged at the two other boys.
Needless to say, both boys got beaten up. Izuku took the beating pretty hard but for every punch or kick Kacchan landed, the other boy healed in a matter of seconds.
“Stop that!”
“I can’t! It’s my quirk.”
“Really?” Bakugou laughed. “How can you win a fight if you can only take hits?”
Before the boy could answer, a girl pushed Bakugou away. “Stop bullying them, ribbit.” The girl said as Izuku took in her appearance. She was short, had big eyes and long green hair, wore a long pink sweater that went over her knees, and lastly, a little tadpole-tail poked out from underneath her sweater.
“And who are you supposed to be? Kermit the fuck?!”
“I’m tsuyu. My friends call me Tsu, not like you can call me that, ribbit.” The little frog said, proud of herself for standing up to the bully.
“So nobody will ever call you that stupid name.” Katsuki growled before stomping away. “Whatever. Have fun with the rejects.”
As Tsu looked very sad, The regeneration boy helped Izuku up and then walked towards the frog girl. “Hey, thanks for trying to help me.” He said to the other kids. “If you want to, I can call you Tsu.”
“R-really, ribbit?” Tsuyu asked excitedly, really, really glad someone wants to be her friend.
“Sure. Me, you, and Deku over there.” Regeneration boy said casually until he noticed Izuku tremble. “Something wrong, Deku?”
“M-my name isn’t Deku. It’s Izuku. Deku is a mean nickname Kacchan gave me.”
“And that explosion boy was Kacchan?”
“Y-yeah,”
“I’m going to punch him.” The boy said as Tsuyu stopped him by wrapping her tongue around her new friend.
“Woah, you can extend your tongue. That’s so cool.” Izuku gushes, causing Tsuyu’s stoic face to flare up with blushes.
“T-thank you, your quirk is probably cool too.” The frog said, causing Izuku to look down and dejected. “A-actually, I’m quirkless.”
“Oh, that’s okay too.” Tsuyu said in a matter of seconds. Regeneration boy quickly nodded in agreement.
“The duo then spent the remainder of the afternoon trying to stop Izuku’s happy tears. But just before their parents came to pick them up, Izuku asked something important. “What is your name anyway?” He asked the other boy.
“Oh, I guess I forgot about that. My name’s Ima Washiki.”
Years went by and our trio were still the best of friends. To the rest of their classmates, they were the weird kids. Iwa had an extreme fascination with brains, Tsuyu was the creepy stone-faced girl, and Izuku, after all those years, was still the same quirkless Deku. A freak that mumbled about quirks and according to Katsuki, a mere stepping stone for his rise to fame and fortune.
Nevertheless, they were happy. Even if they were kinda isolated.
All that happiness then went away once their teacher began talking about their future. Like most kids, Izuku, Tsuyu and Iwa wanted to be heroes. They even planned on going to UA. But once Bakugou heard that, he snapped. “You three fucks are too weak for UA. How the hell are a frog, a punching bag, and a quirkless bastard going to win any fights?!” The bully yelled as the teacher did nothing.
“W-well Kacchan, b-being a h-hero isn-” “Rescue heroes are a thing too, ribbit.” Izuku tried to talk back to his bully until Tsuyu helped him out. “Not everyone wants to be a hero just to fight people, ribbit.”
“What did you say!” The explosion user yelled as he charged at Tsuyu, only for Ima to push her out of the way and take the hit.
“She is just telling the truth. It’s not our fault your brain is too small to get that.” Ima said as he regenerated the burn Bakugou inflicted.
“Enough! Washiki, to the principal's office!” The teacher yelled, ignoring Izuku’s attempt to tell him that Bakugou started it.
Once Ima was gone and the school day was over, Tsu and Izuku tried to wait for him but were sent away by their teacher.
Meanwhile in the principal’s office, Ima saw four men. Two were the principal and his teacher, the second one was a tall man who was missing his eyes (quirk can be anything nowadays.), and the third one was his and everyone’s doctor.
“Doctor Tsubasa, what are you doing here?”
“Young Washiki, we have a proposition for you.” The eyeless man said.
“Um thanks but if it’s something big, shouldn’t my mom be here too?” Ima asked but the eyeless man merely grinned before he snapped his fingers.
Ima suddenly felt very tired. “What did..you…….do?” The boy tried to stay awake but eventually succumbed to slumber.
“I hope he appeals to you, master.” The principal said as the teacher picked up Ima and handed him to All For One.
“I hope so for you two.” The master said coldly as he, the doctor, and an unconscious Ima walked through a portal.
“Ima is..expelled, ribbit?!” Tsuyu yelled, showing a rare moment of pure emotion when her teacher told the class the news.
“Don’t yell through the class, Asui. Or do you want detention or even get expelled?” The older man said casually as he continued his lesson. Neither Izuku nor Tsuyu paid much attention until they heard Bakugou grumble something under his breath.
“One less freak to worry about.”
Izuku punched him. Izuku, Deku, Midoriya punched the big ‘best’ into the face.
“How can you say that! It’s your goddamn fault he got into trouble, and you think that’s right?!”
“What the hell dek-” “ZIP IT, YOU OVERGROWN MUT!”
“Midoriya, sit down or else.”
“Or else what sir, Ribbit?” Tsuyu, deciding to stand up for her friend, asks her teacher. “We all know you are only taking Bakugou’s side because of his quirk. So no matter what we do, you’ll just punish us. It’s unfair, ribbit.” Tsuyu said, finally fed up with her teacher’s blatant favoritism.
“I have no favoritism towards any of my students. But if you want punishment so badly? Midoriya, Asui, detention.”
“What?! Why The hell aren’t you expelling them?!” Bakugou roared through the class. The teacher said he found detention a suitable punishment but there was an unspoken reason.
“I can expel them for real no reason.”
After detention, the greenette duo decided to visit Ima. But once they got to his house, they only found his crying mom. At first they didn’t think too much of it. The poor woman had just gone through an divorce so she was a bit on the emotional side. But they she told them the reason for her tears.
Ima never returned home. He was abducted.
So for the next small year, the duo trained their asses off. They’ll become heroes to find their friend.
All For Ima.
Meanwhile somewhere else, two men stared at a tank.
“How is he coming along, doctor?”
“Where on schedule. I copied his quirk too before starting.”
“Good. Hyper regeneration is one of the most valuable quirks around. With it, and Young Washiki’s..volunteering, will get rid of that smiling idiot in no time.”
Inside the tank, a teenage boy floated. His right arm was already swollen and black, his eyelids were already gone, and small pieces of his brain were exposed.
