He knew exactly what he was doing.
All the hamburgers, the steaks- typically rare, the beef. Of course, there's always a side of veggies to go with it too.
He knew. He wasn't slick as he like to believe.
He never questions it, though. He would hate to see that tiny spark of hope that glittered in his eyes go out, and why would he want to? It's not like he didn't feel the same way. Still, he put in all this work when he knows Rev wasn't as confident as he feels, whenever he was feeding him his dinner. He knows that Rev knows that if he really, truly, didn't want this, he would've put a stop to it a long time ago.
Instead, Tech mused himself and went along with Rev's idea of romance. He'd always said his please and thank you's to the roadrunner, make sure to keep his eyes on him whenever he was dancing, his tail feathers out and spread. He went along with Rev building a nest he thinks was suitable for the both of them, and let him feed him from his hand, growling back at the bird in approval.
Animal courtship was funny, Tech thinks. It usually requires a lot of energy and time to make one presentable to someone they wish to mate with. Tech thinks it's a waste of time, really.
"Say ahh." Rev said, holding out a piece of his steak to Tech. With a raise eyebrow, Tech looks back at the bird and, with amusement in his eyes, open his jaw. Rev chirped happily, a smile forming at his beak, and placed the piece of meat inside Tech's jaw. Closing his mouth, Tech hummed.
"Thank you." He said, watching Rev flush a little.
Though, Tech thinks to himself, he was also being courted by someone he loves so maybe the courtship thing was a moot point.
