Notes:

Hi, English is not my first language so I'm sorry if I make any mistakes. Other than that, welcome to this story!

Well I love DBD, I love this fandom, but unfortunately I don't see many stories about this game, especially with Cheryl and Pyramid Head.

At first, this story would be short and would only have one chapter, but as I was writing the plot it developed and took on a proportion that I didn't imagine!

It's been a lot of fun to write something about this couple so unusual and at the same time so amazing. I at least see wonderful chemistry in them.

In this story we're going to get a lot from PH's perspective, we're going to see him falling in love with Cheryl and having no idea what to do ~ and eventually we'll have obscenities, I promise. I tried to delve into Pyramid Head's mind as much as possible and make their relationship true to their personalities.
Enjoy ❤

Chapter 1: The girl from Silent Hill

Chapter Text

Rain was falling at Midwich School. The abandoned and forgotten school of Silent Hill.

But there was no ash in this realm, there was no heat from the embers of the fire, on the contrary, it was all so cold and icy. It wasn't the same place, he knew that, but sometimes he still felt like he was in his lost city.

Silent Hill.

He was very fond of his old home, it was there where his life began and it was there where he understood what his purpose was.

Pyramid Head was a god compared to other creatures, but in the Entity's realm, he's just an executioner. Not that he was complaining, no! He liked his job, he loved punishing the humans he encountered on these maps, he loved hearing them scream, he loved torturing them, being a murderer had perhaps always been his calling. Also, he wasn't there to simply serve the thing that created this deadly game, he was invited by the Entity.

His life in Silent Hill could be more pleasant, but here, in this place, he is the greatest judge and executioner these poor people could face! And he liked the feeling so much.

In Silent Hill, life was dull and morbid, but in this world, he doesn't lack for souls to punish, and that's his reason for delight.

He stopped facing the rain and took a few steps forward to the opening in the wall, which gave an alternative access to the courtyard and the cages where humanoid creatures were trapped as decoration.

Pyramid Head gripped his sword and leapt from the second floor into the courtyard.

His boots clattered loudly as he landed his feet on the floor. He straightened up and took a deep breath, inhaling the musty, filthy smell of the place. It didn't bother him, on the contrary, it was a pleasant welcome.

He returned to his imposing, menacing stance, and walked forward. Firm and powerful steps were taken towards the entrance of the other school building.

The excitement of the survivors' pain was making him impatient. The assassin then brought his sword forward and plunged it into the ground, spread the rites of judgment halfway down the hall and then up the stairs.

Which survivors could they be? He didn't know them, he had no reason to know their names, it didn't matter to him.

The survivors' pain is the Entity's food and there is no one better than him to do this work.

When he reached the second floor he prepared yet another rite of judgment with his lethal sword. He spread it just a little this time, because he noticed a working generator and behind it came the saboteur.

Jake as soon as he noticed Pyramid Head ran into one of the classrooms, he knew there were pallets and windows there. And he was also aware that Pyramid Head must have known that too.

The saboteur ran through the huddled tables and chairs, dodging in time for a rite of torment hurled at his feet.

Pyramid Head looked annoyed, but not so much.

Jake jumped through the window into the other room and Pyramid Head didn't follow him through the window. Instead, he exited the room and went straight to where the green-jacketed survivor was.

He was circling around a table and the assassin got into his little game for a few seconds. He pretended to be tricked by the boy and when Jake thought he was going in the opposite direction, the assassin came right in front of him and hit him with his huge sword.

Bleeding and screaming in pain, the survivor still managed to knock over and hit a pallet on the executioner.

But when he tried to run, Jake was suddenly brought down with a new rite of torment. The survivor felt pathetic, he didn't even see when Pyramid Head plunged his sword into the ground and hit him with it. He was so desperate to get away that he didn't even pay attention to the assassin's next steps.

Pyramid Head sighed contentedly as he broke the pallet. Quickly, he picked up the survivor and threw him over his shoulder.

There was a hook right next to this room.

He hung the human on the metal frame and made a circle around the hook. The survivor who came to save him would not have another chance, he would have to do it by going through his rites of judgment.

He was cruel, giving no chance of defense to the other survivors. And he loved it!

A generator was completed on the other side of the map and he grunted angrily.

The killer went down to the downstairs bathroom and started breaking down the door. When the wood was destroyed with his strong kicks, he climbed through a kind of corridor, little used by the assassins, but for the survivors, this was a very good area to hide.

Pyramid Head barely reached the top and saw a blonde woman with drawings on her arms. As soon as she saw the murderer, she turned around and he followed, with one goal in mind: to finish off all sinners and make them agonize on the hooks and in their cage of torment!

The executioner brought his sword forward and prepared another blow with the rite of judgment. He chased the survivors for a few seconds with his sword brought forward.

He had to wait for the right moment, but Pyramid Head wasn't the least bit patient and cautious.

He threw the power produced by the sword towards the woman, but she in turn deflected.

The monster growled with a mixture of frustration and irritation that was building in its chest.

He shifted his sword and went back to dragging that heavy metal.

Kate ran into the room where there was a hole with an alternate exit to the floor below. She had a plan. Maybe if she ran out into the yard, she could outrun Pyramid Head in that garden. There were a lot of pallets in that place and although they didn't hold the assassin for long, it was a great chance to buy time and get out alive tonight.

That is if the executioner would let him.

Kate dodged in time for a new rite of judgment thrown her way, it was starting to look easy to escape this trick of his.

The blonde could even hear the assassin roar in irritation.

Kate looked back and thought that if there was a face under that helmet, her expression would now be one of the worst and cruelest hatred! He looked desperate to kill her.

And he really was! Crazy, completely blinded by anger and the excitement of causing pain. He needed their blood, now, immediately!

He sighed several times to get himself under control, he could barely think, the oxygen didn't even seem to be going to her brain, her blood was boiling and he really wanted to finish her off.

Once again he brought his sword in front of her body and began to thrust at her. Behind him his monstrosity trails left behind.

He passed through the halls, relentlessly chasing the woman.

Kate dropped a pallet to slow him down and when she was about to reach the patio, she felt something coming towards her legs and hitting her squarely!

The survivor jerked forward and even spat out some blood. Her entire body was shaking and she couldn't feel anything but pain.

The rites of judgments, that's why it's always good to avoid them. The pain is unbearable!

The blonde ran to the garden, hid behind a bush and breathed heavily.

Kate looked one way and then the other. Where did he go?

She placed her hand on her stomach, intending to check the wound. It was a superficial cut, but the pain didn't seem compatible with the wound. Kate had the feeling her insides were all cut into a thousand pieces.

The pain that Pyramid Head caused went far beyond a simple cut from his weapon, he seemed to cut the souls of survivors, and it is quite likely that this is because he is a punisher of sinners.

He takes advantage of the pain of some survivors, he is like a wolf in the middle of a forest looking for lost sheep, only to enjoy the meat of his prey.

This killer was sick and scary.

Kate leaned her head against the fluffy walls made from the garden bushes and took a deep breath.

As she exhaled the air out of her lungs, she felt more relieved and calm to continue.

She was pretty sure she saw David King at the trial, she could have asked him to heal her, but deep down it was just an excuse to win that fighter's stony heart.

Ever since he got here, Denson can't get him out of his head!

Her mind was so distracted by the other survivor that it took Kate a long time to realize that she was no longer safe.

Looking to the side, she saw only the sword's outline and felt her legs being cut, but not enough to decapitate her limbs.

She fell to the ground, screaming in agony, a pool of blood slowly pooling beneath her.

The executioner grunted and walked over to the extremely irritating woman of this judgmant.

He pressed his boot right into the survivor's face. Kate moaned in pain and discomfort. This was clearly a way for him to appear dominant. He was saying through that gesture that he is the master, the executioner, the assassin, he is Pyramid Head!

He removed his boot from the survivor's face and sent her to the cage of torment.

Maybe now she does reflect a little on the disrespect she's shown him during the chase. She fled from his advances as if he were a joke, he wouldn't allow himself to be treated like that.

He doesn't accept defeat at all!

He will make all survivors bow, regardless of who they are.

Jake had already been saved and David was running to get to Kate and save her.

But unlike what most would think of her attitude, he wasn't going to save her out of love or consideration. David simply felt that the more people helping the generators, the better! So not letting the blonde die was a strategy and not a good deed.

"Holy shit…" he said when he came across a hallway filled with the Pyramid Head Judgment Rites.

He needed to go through this hallway, but now, he would have to come up with a new plan, the fighter didn't want to take any chances and Kate would have to wait for a few more agonizing minutes.

Just as David turned to go back and around until he reached the cage, one of the wooden doors shattered and Pyramid tried to hit him, but he was smarter. He used his dodging skills and managed to get out in front of the assassin.

The executioner sighed. He was starting to get frustrated again, sometimes it seems like he's so slow!

David ran out and looked down the hall where the killer was still.

Pyramid Head took his sword and with a certain agility went after the survivor, leaving a red trail behind wherever he went.

David looked back a few more times and had to admit it. This monster was frightening when it dragged its sword forward. This seemed to give him more strength and disposition.

Before David could drop a pallet just ahead, he was hit by the red trail of blood and torment hurled his way.

"Motherfucker!"

He barely had time to finish the insult and a sword had already hit him right in the middle of the back.

Another generator was made but by then it was too late. Kate had already died in the cage.

Maybe they could fix the last two generators, but in a trial with the executioner, hardly anyone made it out alive.

Pyramid Head grabbed the survivor and threw him over his shoulder as if David were as light as a feather.

He ignored the survivor's escape attempts and concentrated on getting to the hook near the stairs.

But suddenly there was an unpleasant surprise for the killer.

Jake came out of nowhere with a toolbox in his hands, running towards the hook.

Pyramid Head even tried to reach him or at least hit him with the sword and make this survivor disappear!

But it was difficult to get there with David thrashing violently over his shoulder the entire time.

Jake knelt in front of the structure and hurriedly grabbed the ideal tools and keys for the job while the assassin struggled with the other survivor to walk straight to the hook.

The saboteur managed to dismantle the structure, but Pyramid Head didn't like that at all!

Jake was already prepared for the cut he received in his ribs.

He got what he wanted, David managed to break free and they both ran together away from the snarling executioner.

"Hurry, we have to get out of here."

"Fix the generators then!" David yelled impatiently but the Korean grabbed him by the shoulders.

"Listen! We're not going to make it, okay?! Forget it! The best thing we can do is sacrifice ourselves for Cheryl so she can have the hatch."

"Good luck then." David pushed Jake back and the saboteur could feel the heat of the judgment rites coming from under his feet and knocking him to the ground.

But Pyramid Head passed him, his steps steady and determined.

David didn't get very far, he was caught when he tried to jump out a window and brought to Jake's side.

First the executioner executed the saboteur, cutting it in half with his sword.

He insisted that the fighter watched the scene and soon after wrapping him in metal, the claws of the city of Silent Hill grip the muscular body of the survivor.

At the height of his satisfaction and arousal, Pyramid Head raised his sword and plunged it into the man's abdomen, swirling and ruffling his guts with that mighty blade.

Both bodies lay there, in a huge red puddle.

Pyramid Head would have liked to stay a little longer admiring his work, but he watched as the last survivor stepped into his judgment rites.

The heartbeat of the human's heart pounded in his ears, it even seemed to cry out for him, for his sentence and he would soon have it, without the slightest doubt of it!

He marched again through the first floor corridors and across the garden to reach another part of the school.

The survivor was so desperate that he stepped into yet another rite of judgment, the heartbeat beating in his mind, indicating his location, was like a pleasant tune to him.

The survivor called out to him, to his punishment…

The monster's excitement was growing, he would kill this survivor in the most beautiful way possible: Through torture!

He climbed the stairs and from afar he heard the sound of the survivor's hurried footsteps trying to get away from him. The noise incited him even more, and Pyramid Head was trembling with such eagerness to kill the last sinner.

The only problem was that later the Entity would lock him in the dark and he would be away from the judgments for some time, waiting for the next one like all the other assassins who were kept like real dolls in their boxes.

He needed to make the death of the last survivor count, as if it were a farewell to this night, even though he wasn't going anywhere, the executioner didn't know when the Entity would release him again for a next time.

He hurried through one of the classrooms and listened as his opponent jumped out the window and apparently fell to the floor.

He was amused by a startled scream that he heard shortly thereafter as he moved even closer to the same window in the wall.

Was it some amateur tonight? Someone who just dropped into this world? It didn't matter to him.

The killer ducked through the window and finally found the last survivor… or rather, the girl.

He gripped the hilt of his weapon with both hands and raised them in front of the human below him.

She was down, apparently she hurt her knee as she lost her balance from the window and fell to the hard floor. Her white clothes were smeared with soot around the edges and her green skirt…was a reasonable size, but in the position she was in, he could see some details of her thighs, but that didn't stop him from continuing his mission.

But then, when the sword was inches from the girl, her head snapped towards him and he found himself staring that beautiful green eyes in fear and panic.

Her blonde hair was slightly messy, there were small freckles on her cheeks and her pink lips were parted, ready to let out a scream at any moment.

She was… beautiful!

For a few seconds, the executioner was completely distracted by the details of this survivor and he didn't even notice, but he was slowly lowering his sword.

The girl also looked paralyzed at the sight of him, but that was because of fear.

She started trying to get away from him.

"Please don't hurt me!"

Her voice came out extremely shaky, showing how scared this girl was in front of him. Perhaps Pyramid Head should be proud of that, but at that moment he wasn't quite sure what he was feeling.

The girl crawled with her back on the ground and without taking her eyes off the killer in front of her.

"Please, I didn't do anything, I don't even know why I'm here…"

She started to cry and Pyramid Head looked at her curiously.

"Let me go, you don't have to. Please."

The executioner didn't know what to do in front of her. His mind was blank, as if he had completely forgotten who he was and what he was supposed to do. He could only watch the girl.

He wanted to wipe away her tears, but at the same time, he wanted to make her suffer so that more hot tears would spill over her beautiful, angelic face.

Where was she from? Are there more like her?

Cheryl Mason was so scared!

She was the only one to survive and she didn't even know what she was supposed to do now. It's been a few hours since she got here. The few people she had met so far told her that she should beware of the killers and monsters that stalked them in these places. And now before that 'man' she understood why she should fear them.

Cheryl cried and sobbed a few times. She was scared, that's all. And his appearance scared her even more. What could he do to her?

He only took two steps towards her and Cheryl panicked as she felt the weight of her feet coming towards her, he exuded such a menacing presence.

"No, stay away from me, please..."

She raised an arm in supplication and the assassin grabbed her wrist very tightly.

Cheryl shivered in fear and looked at that helmet in terror. Could there be a human down there?

The assassin bent a little toward her face and brought his helmet closer so she could look at him even more closely.

"Please…don't do anything to me" she practically whispered to him.

Cheryl squealed a little startled as he tightened his hand around her wrist and lifted her to her feet.

A few startled squeaks escaped her throat and she closed her eyes. She feared for her life like never before!

The monster pressed her against the wall, his body even pressed against her breasts for a brief moment, but neither of them paid any attention to it.

Cheryl shook her head in denial and the assassin's breath was the only thing she could hear, it seemed even louder than her own thoughts.

He squeezed her wrist and the pain that followed was unbearable! His hand was about to be broken and Cheryl understood that he wanted her to look at him.

Maybe he just wanted to make her remember him in your mind, so she would remember her image forever, not that that was necessary, Cheryl was sure she would have nightmares about him tonight.

Even knowing that deep down she would regret it, she opened her eyes and faced the killer. Her green eyes were slightly red in the corners from crying, as well as her cheeks which had a pink tinge, she couldn't be sure if her cheeks were red from crying or if they were flushed…

"Please…" she whispered softly, she didn't even know what she was asking anymore.

The assassin made a sound that indicated satisfaction, he tilted his head slightly to the side and loosened his grip on her wrist, but still kept the girl trapped between the wall and his strong body.

"Just...let me go."

Cheryl didn't know what he wanted, to be honest, she didn't even want to imagine it, she just wanted to get away from him.

Pyramid Head studied the girl. She smelled good, underneath all the dust and dirt from the school was her sweet smell. A faint scent of soap mixed with deodorant and then her natural scent. He sniffed her a few times, like a lion smelling her prey flesh, he moved her helmet a few times so he could find the right angle to fully absorb her scent. He found it pleasant, but still, it didn't sharpen him senses that much.

For a moment he wanted to feel more.

It had been a while since the last time he was this close to a woman and if it was in any other situation, she wouldn't even be dressed anymore...

Pyramid Head was distracted, feeling the texture of her body against his. It was good, very good! He wanted to rub his knee between her legs to get a feel for her intimacy, but he was interrupted by the girl's voice calling to him again.

"Please, I don't want to die. Let me go, that's all I ask."

His eyes conveyed the most legitimate plea, she was begging for her freedom.

Pyramid Head was confused as to what he should do.

This survivor had something different. She looked familiar to him, her face was no stranger to him. He had the feeling he'd seen that face before.

It was then that his mind cleared and he realized that she was the same as the entity behind his hometown, Silent Hill. The blonde-haired girl was very reminiscent of the poor little girl named Alessa. They were different but at the same time they looked like two identical halves!

He... couldn't kill her.

He couldn't kill someone like Alessa, it would be a betrayal of her essence, an offense to her ancient city. After James Sunderland died and he was left without a purpose, Pyramid Head even thought about ending his life, he didn't have a sinner anymore, he didn't have anyone else to punish, his existence completely lost its meaning! But even so, Alessa took him in and allowed him to continue living among the other creatures.

And now he's found this girl who looks like Alessa's twin.

What should he do?

He was supposed to fulfill his role as an assassin above all else, but at the same time, it felt like he was being very ungrateful to the child behind Silent Hill.

But what does it matter?! He's not there anymore anyway, he has no reason to spare this girl, he shouldn't even have thought of something like that.

The killer released the survivor's wrist only to grab her neck.

Cheryl was extremely confused and terrified. She thought he felt sorry for her, but apparently it was just an illusion.

He lifted her with just one hand, her feet didn't even touch the ground anymore and no air current passed through her throat.

"No...please...don't hurt me!" she cried, despair was written all over her face in the rawest possible way.

She struggled against him, swung her legs and tried to kick him, every now and then she managed to hit him but that only made the killer suffocate even more.

She would die, that was the only certainty.

But Cheryl didn't want that and even if she could come back later, she didn't want to die anyway!

She needed to resist, fight, be strong, that's what her father would say if he were still here.

But she can't. This assassin was absurdly stronger than she was! And if the others who were experienced in this place died, what chance did she have? There seemed to be no hope for her, Cheryl had to accept that.

She had no choice, she closed her eyes and surrendered to his death, the grip on her neck was getting stronger and stronger, her throat was closing completely and she looked wide-eyed at him.

She should be thinking about her life right now shouldn't she? They say that when we are about to die, our life flashes before our eyes, like in a movie. But no image came to her mind, the only thing she could see was that red helmet with small defects.

Cheryl placed her two small hands over the killer's huge, gloved hand. She wasn't fighting him, Cheryl just stared at him as her vision slowly dimmed.

But suddenly, all it took was the breath of air in her lungs, the assassin released her and she fell to the ground.

Her throat burned like hell and an uncontrollable cough gripped her body.

He growled above her again, it sounded like a soft sound although it was still menacing.

Cheryl placed both hands on her neck which still hurt so much, and looked at the 'man' in front of her.

She expected him to slash her with his sword, but he went still and looked even a little calm.

The girl massages her neck a few times to lessen the pain. That area was red, with the shape of her fingers on her neck. She was lying at his feet looking at him with curiosity and fear at the same time.

Pyramid Head watched the girl's neck once more, admiring the choking sign and he immediately made a mental connection to the feeling of possession. But he couldn't have anything to do with this little girl. He wanted nothing to do with these survivors!

But he also didn't want to kill the girl from Silent Hill.

For the first time in his existence, he abandoned his mission and had mercy on another being. Something that has never happened before and he wants to believe it will never happen again!

He walked away from the survivor, turned his back on her, ready to walk away and leave her with the hatch.

"Thank you!" she screamed still a little scared because her voice came out trembling.

Pyramid Head didn't want to look at her, he didn't want to stay where that survivor was, he was confused.

He was ashamed of himself.

What the hell had gotten into him to act like that?

Whatever it was, the executioner prayed it would go away. He didn't like that feeling…
