Shane woke up. Early, but beautiful natural light already filled the room, allowing him to see his boyfriend sleeping by his side.
He always woke up earlier than Ilya, and didn't know if he thought Shane just immediately left the bed every time.
For a time Shane never wanted to keep track of, he would always just watch Ilya sleep. Feel his chest full of fierce love for that gorgeous man.
But for a while now, in mornings like this, Shane had been feeling gloom creeping in.
Ilya looked sad in his sleep.
And he didn't know what to do.
