Work Text:

Yor paced continuously around her bedroom, holding her head in one hand, completely lost in her own thoughts. The events of the day kept her emotions locked in a metaphorical rollercoaster ride. Starting at the breakfast table with Anya expressing her dislike of Yor’s cooking, then the SSS stopping her outside the post office, and finally Loid giving reassuring words of encouragement as they walked home from work together. Currently, Yor’s emotions were riding a high, leaving her feeling strangely confident, yet nervous, about a thought she kept toying with. The night before, her brother, Yuri, demanded that she and Loid express their love via the form of a kiss. Remembering the moment filled Yor’s stomach with butterflies, a deep blush colored her face as she thought of how close her and Loid came to sharing their first kiss. A longing feeling washed over her body, causing Yor to let out an “eep” and cover her mouth with both hands. Deep down, Yor knew she needed to become more comfortable, physically, around Loid- at the very least for the sake of their fake relationship’s appearance.

Yor paused her pacing, only to lean her back against the bedroom door and let out a wanting sigh. She knew countless aspects of hand-to-hand combat and how to kill a person through various techniques, none of which left her squeamish in the slightest. A non-lethal, intimate touch, however, Yor lacked any firsthand experience with- her ideas of romance based entirely off books and movies. Instead of easily giving Loid a fleeting kiss last evening, Yor almost blew her and Loid’s relationship cover by panicking, unable to show a simple display of affection. Yor shook her head, unwilling to contemplate the possibility of losing Anya and Loid by being unable to sufficiently play the role of a happy, in love wife. The only difference, Yor determined, between her ability to kill and her (lack of) ability to kiss, was mere practice.

Suddenly there was a brisk knock on the bedroom door, startling Yor from not detecting the approaching footsteps due to being lost in thought. She took a deep breath to steady her nerves and turned around to open the door, knowing that Loid was on the other side. Yor had completely lost track of time, as part of their evening routine, Loid had come to say goodnight to Yor. Tonight, however, Yor had something else in mind. “L-Loid!” Yor blurted out before the man could even open his mouth, her face feeling a familiar blush color her complexion.

“Good evening, Yor,” Loid smiled, ever so slightly tilting his head to the side. He was standing in the hallway in his pajamas, clearly ready to go to bed as Yor could smell the scent of mint of toothpaste on his breath. The man began to say “Anya is tucked in bed, and I was just coming to say goodnight…” but trailed off after noticing Yor’s conflicted expression. He adjusted himself by leaning against the doorway with one arm above his head, peering down at her with a concerned look, “Is everything alright?”

Yor would not meet Loid’s gaze at first, “Y-Yes! Everything is fine- I mean, no. Sort of…” she glanced up at Loid, his face quizzical as he clearly tried to make sense of the moment.

“What’s on your mind?” Loid inquired, his eyes looking deep into Yor’s for answers. She fought with herself internally, trying not to look away from his intense gaze. “You can tell me anything, we’re a team,” he followed up with, trying to reassure her.

Before she could lose her resolve, Yor forced herself to reveal what plagued her thoughts: “I want to kiss you- I mean,” she covered her mouth, face red as a beet, looking at the floor as she became quieter and murmured, “I want to practice kissing you, so I become more comfortable with normal displays of affection in public.” And, spoken even softer, “I don’t want to blow our cover. I don’t want anything to happen to our family.”

The normally suave Twilight was taken aback by the suddenness of the request, taking a moment to calculate the most appropriate response for the situation. In the brief silence, Yor continued talking but at a much quicker, nervous, pace, “I mean, if you’re comfortable with it- I figured with your previous marriage, you know a…” she paused, before continuing, “a thing or two, about intimacy.” Not to mention, Loid had a child with his late wife.

As Yor finished her sentence, Loid tilted her chin up with his index finger so their eyes met. “Yes, of course,” he cleared his throat, “I’m really glad you feel comfortable bringing this up with me, Yor.” He gave a reassuring smile that made her heart flutter. “Did you want to practice right now?” Loid hardly could finish his question before Yor quickly nodded, nervously biting her lower lip. He smiled, running his knuckle lightly along her jaw bone. Yor’s heart raced in her chest as Loid softly embraced one of his hands with hers, stepping around the woman and guiding her into the bedroom. The man sat on the edge of the bed and motioned for Yor to also sit.

Without a doubt, Twilight knew his way around the human body. Intimacy was a key part in the spy’s arsenal in obtaining information from targets that he had deployed in an untold number of situations. Yor was more than a fleeting target, however, and Twilight refused to admit the subtle, but ever growing nonplatonic feelings he had for the woman. He wanted her first kiss to be nothing short of perfect.

Yor sat down close to Loid, shifting so her legs were tucked underneath her on the bed. Loid earnestly embraced both of her hands in his and said softly, “Yor… please look at me,” he waited until her red eyes sheepishly met his blue ones, “Promise me that if there’s ever anything you don’t want to do, please don’t hesitate to let me know.”

Even though nerves wracked her body, she managed to give a sincere nod, “I will, I promise,” and gave a little smile. Yor knew her nervousness would be unlikely to subside if she kept waiting, “I’m ready.”

Regardless of Twilight’s experience, the little phrase “I’m ready” from Yor made his stomach do a little flip. The spy knew how to lead this moment perfectly, but he couldn’t shake his slight jitters, leaving him feeling like a school boy all over again.

Slowly, Loid let go of Yor’s hands, bringing one of his hands to rest on the small of her back. Her usual red sweater left the skin he touched exposed, which at this moment he was very consciously aware of. Loid’s other hand moved upwards to brush Yor’s hair behind her ear as he leaned in towards the woman. Loid blushed as he closed his eyes, softly pressing his lips against Yor’s, letting their first kiss linger for a few moments before pulling slightly apart. Twilight was stunned as the kiss had a “spark” to it, but refused to let his composure slip.

Loid let his hand linger on her cheek, cupping Yor’s face. The couple were still only inches apart, and both individuals wore slight, coy smiles. “How was that?” he asked in a low voice, not fishing for compliments, but gauging Yor’s comfort level.

Immediately Yor beamed, “It was really nice, Loid,” and slowly moved her hand to rest lightly on his chest. “I don’t want to be greedy, but I want to practice m-more.” The woman didn’t realize the effect she had on the man, as he blushed uncontrollably, “If it’s okay, that is…”

Without hesitating, Loid moved both of his hands to the small of Yor’s back, gently pulling their bodies closer as he murmured, “Anything for you.” She smiled timidly, bringing her arms to rest on Loid’s shoulders, their lips meeting for a second time. This kiss lasted longer, lacking the qualms that she originally held. The second kiss turned into a third, then quickly a fourth and fifth. If Yor hadn’t known any better, she would have thought she had been drinking wine beforehand, as she felt tipsy off of the intimacy. Without realizing, she had moved one of her hands to the back of Loid’s head, running her fingers through his blond hair as their lips continuously met with increased fervor.

With monumental effort, Loid forced himself to break off the chain of kisses and was the first to pull back. Both of the individuals took a moment to catch their breath. “Yor…” he sighed her name, running his thumb along her lips and flashed a flirtatious smile, “You’re a natural.” His comment brought a smile and a blush to Yor’s face; Loid could tell her jitters from earlier had calmed. Selfishly, the spy wanted to continuously kiss his beautiful wife, but refused to push anything further without her explicit approval. “I don’t want to overstep and do something you’re not comfortable with,” he explained, moving a lock of Yor’s hair back behind her ear. “Do you want to stop here?” The man tried his damnedest to mask the want from his voice, how his body craved Yor’s.

Yor wasn’t sure if it was the lightheadedness, her body now pressed against his, or the burning sensation in the bottom of her stomach, but the last thing on her mind was to stop this moment. The woman met Loid’s gaze, her eyes clouded by lust, before grabbing the man’s shirt to pull him close, giving him a deep kiss, “N-no, I want you to show me more. I’ll tell you w-when I want to stop.”

“Whatever you desire, Mrs. Forger,” Loid obliged, giving Yor the most irresistible look the woman had ever seen. The spy moved to the center of the bed; Yor’s heart skipped a beat as he scooped her up, his hands underneath her legs as he placed her on his lap. Loid’s hands lightly moved up the length of Yor’s body, finally resting on her upper back as he pulled her in for a series of deep kisses. The movement sent chills down her spine, yet her whole body felt so hot. Loid ran one hand along the skin her sweater exposed, while at the same time beginning to nibble and then suck on the woman’s lower lip. This earned Loid a muffled gasp from Yor, followed by him planting multiple, quick, eager kisses on her mouth. The only sounds in the room were the occasional sharp inhale from Yor, the slight noise of briefly separating lips, which was followed by heavy breathing.

Yor made a disapproving groan as Loid pulled away momentarily, only to let out a soft moan as he placed his lips on her neck. The woman quickly became putty in his arms as the spy kissed and sucked along her neck, her head dizzy from the sensation. This man submitted Yor to experience emotions and passions she had never felt, and she loved every second of it. Her hands instinctively made their way to the small of Loid’s back, slipping underneath the shirt to rub his back. The shirt limited how high Yor could reach up his back in her current position, so as he finished kissing up her neck, he stopped below her ear and offered with a low voice, “That can come off, if you want.”

“Yes, please…” she mouthed, her hands already lifting the bottom of the shirt up. If this was what Yor wanted, Loid would happily indulge her. Loid kissed her quickly before leaning back and removing the shirt, tossing the garment onto the floor. Yor took a moment to look him up and down, her face feeling a blush color it once again. His body was toned in a way that reminded her of a Greek statue, as if perfectly sculpted by an artist. Moments later, Loid embraced Yor, kissing her as he leaned in, leading their bodies down onto the bed. Loid propped himself up with one arm over top of the woman, the other cupping her face with one hand, repeatedly sharing passionate, wistful kisses. Yor began running her fingers through Loid’s hair once again, gently pulling him even closer. The man tentatively slipped his tongue inside her mouth, knowing well that French kisses were a hit or miss, depending on the person. To his surprise, Yor met his tongue with hers, fervently kissing him back.

Twilight’s kisses became increasingly desperate, making Yor’s head dizzy. Even he was losing his usual composure, letting the actual man’s desires slip through as his free hand subtly slid under Yor’s sweater to rest against the bare skin on her hip. His hand began to slide up her side, and made it all the way to her ribcage before a light knock on the door made the two immediately halt.

“Papa? Mama?” Anya’s voice carried through the door, as Loid scrambled to find his shirt and slide it back overtop his head. The spy glanced over at Yor, giving her an apologetic, almost embarrassed smile, as he opened the door. “I had a nightmare,” the little girl whimpered, wiping tears away from her eyes.

Loid bent down and picked up the child, giving her back small, reassuring rubs. “Everything is alright.” He carried Anya back to her bedroom, setting her gently down on her bed. He stayed in the child’s room until she calmed down enough to go back to sleep, patting her head softly before returning to Yor’s room.

“I’m so sorry-,” Loid stammered, beginning to apologize to Yor, only stopping when she put a finger to his lips.

“Don’t apologize, Loid. That was amazing, I want to do it all again,” the woman rebutted. She leaned in and gave him a soft kiss. “I’m really glad I married you, Loid.”
