Chapter Text
I was an average joe on earth. After I finished working, I spent the rest of my time at dinner and took a shower. I went to my bed and fell asleep.
Then, I opened my eyes and saw a room. But I realized who this room was. I became panicked because I didn't belong there.
'Okay, calm down, D. You're in Naruto's room. You need to calm down.' I told myself
I looked around the room, and It was messy. I saw Naruto sleeping on a mattress.
"Why am I here? Who sent me here? Hello? Anybody there?"
But nobody answered.
I sighed.
I tried to touch him, and my hand passed through it.
'W-what's going on with me? Why can't I touch him?'
Then, I tried to touch everything. But it didn't work at all. And then, I decided to go to the mirror to see if I was visible. The mirror had no reflection because no one was there.
It made me realize I was dead.
'Is this what it feels like to be dead?' I thought to myself
I had to accept this reality now.
Then, I decided to wait for him to wake up. I sighed

I had been in this room forever. I tried to keep myself busy. But I was getting bored quickly. I could only watch Naruto sleeping.
'Wait, what if I can go outside?'
I decided to go outside and didn't need a door to open because I was invisible. It worked. But I couldn't leave Naruto alone. So, I tried to explore the apartment.
But then, somebody came to the rooftop. I tried to climb but failed. I had an idea, and that was to fly.
I' had never tried to fly before.
"Here it goes." I thought of going up. Again, it worked.
"Who's there?" the figure spoke
'Wait, he can hear me?'
I saw the figure. And then, I realized who it was by that silver hair. It was Kakashi.
I tried to approach the man. As I came closer to him, it seemed Kakashi couldn't see me. And then, I tried to wave at his face, but he didn't respond to it. I was relieved by this revelation.
Kakashi wore his ANBU gear. My guess was he was back from a mission.
Kakashi was watching Naruto sleeping.
"Sensei, Kushina-san, I am sorry." Kakashi sighed.
And he talked a lot.
Yeah, this Kakashi was still lost. So, I didn't blame him for everything he put through to his life. Kakashi couldn't adopt Naruto because Hiruzen wouldn't allow everyone to adopt the boy. After all, Jiraiya was his godfather. But the reality was Jiraiya had never been in Naruto's life until the Chuunin exam.
So, the Sannin was doing a poor job being a godfather, except for giving Naruto money for allowance.
I wanted to talk to him, but I didn't want to make the situation worse.
Then, Kakashi left the scene, and I decided to go back inside.

I waited until sunrise. And my patience was non-existent.
'Fuck it! I'm going to wake him up.'
"Oi, Naruto! Wake up!"
"Please, give me five minutes. I promise I'll wake up."
'Sorry, Naruto. I am going to exploit your weakness.'
"Come on, Naruto. I'll buy you ramen if you wake up."
Naruto immediately woke up, "Ramen!" Naruto looked around. "Where are you?"
'Really, Naruto? That's your first word?'
"Can you see me, Naruto?" I asked
Naruto turned his back and looked at me.
"Uhh? Why are you floating?" Naruto asked
"Of course, he can." I just realized something, "Wait, Are you sure, Naruto?"
"Yeah, I can see you. What about it?" Naruto shrugged
"Nothing at all!" I deflected
"Okay, where do we buy the ramen?" Naruto changed his topic
"Uhh, Naruto?" "Yes?"
"I lied about the ramen," I confessed
"Why do you do that?" Naruto became sad
"I'm sorry, Naruto. I need you to wake up because I'm bored in this room." I apologized
"Next time, you shouldn't do that again," Naruto warned me
"I can't promise you that. But I'll try." I crossed my finger
There was a minute of silence.
'This is awkward.' I noted to myself
Naruto immediately spoke, "So, why are you here anyway?"
"That's a great question, Naruto. I don't know, either. But, do you believe me that I am a ghost?"
But the blond realized it now, "That's why you're floating right now. So, everyone is lying about a ghost."
I chuckled, "Well, I am one of them. But there aren't like me, Naruto. So, everyone tells you what they know about the ghost."
"Ah, okay. I got it. I got another question for you."
"Sure, go ahead. I answer it through my knowledge."
"Okay, can other people see you?" Naruto asked
"As far as I know, no. But someone can hear me talk. So, I hope my existence is very hidden as possible. By the way, my name is Kin. Nice to meet you, Naruto."
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto, dattebayo. And my dream is becoming Hokage, remember that."
'Why did he not notice anything suspicious about me? I guess this is the power of the protagonist.' I asked myself
"Okay, Hokage-sama. What time do you go to the academy?"
"9 o'clock. What about it?" Naruto asked back
"What time is it?" I asked about the current time
Naruto grabbed his clock beside his mattress.
"It's 7 o'clock. So?"
"It's time for making breakfast, of course. But for now, we make instant ramen."
Naruto smiled, "That's going to be easy. Then, what's next?"
"Take a shower, and after that, dress up. The last is going to school."
"Got it!"
