It's been a while since Suho was transmitted to Lloyd Frontera and had to go through a lot of events. He couldn't remember exactly the time due to his busy construction work and so many other documents that he didn't have time to take care of his appearance as he should. It's been like this for a long time, he remembers when he was back in Korea that it was hundreds of times worse. At least now he has Javier endlessly fussy and keeps scolded at him about that.
Still, he hasn't cut his hair for a long time. And now, with his not realized, it was so long that it almost touched his shoulder.
The person who made him realize this was Marbella Frontera, Lloyd's mother. She reminded him after breakfast and he was preparing with a blueprint in hand. “ Lloyd, your hair… ”
Lloyd raised his hand to examine himself to see if anything was in his hair or it too messy, seeing that Baroness Frontera had to hold back a fondness smile and giggle as she reached out to brush her son's hair “ I just want to tell you that it's long now, son ”
“ Oh ” Lloyd, who seemed to just realize, replied, “ You're right… I must cut it soon.”
He let the mother continue to play with his hair. It didn't bother him much, he was even slightly relaxed with it. Until the baroness spoke again, “ Well, before you cut it, Can I do your hair for a bit? ” she asked with sparkling eyes.
“ yes? ” Lloyd unconsciously responded. Before he could even begin to ponder, in fact, for him, letting it go on and on like this was rather annoying. Hair styling can not be bad as long as it's not a weird. “ um… that sounds fine to me, I think? ” don't know why, but his tone is still a bit like a question.
The Baroness seemed to be, if possible, three-times brighter than before. She hugged him for a moment before hurriedly fetching the comb and other things. While Lloyd just sit still and check the blueprint, wait for it to finish. Meanwhile, what he heard in the distance was kind voice of the Baroness who sounded extremely happy talking about how she wanted to do hair for her children for a long time but Julian with quite long hair studied far away, Lloyd himself seemed wouldn't let her and always busy. She also talked a lot about the plants in her garden.
Some of them were paid much attention by him. Some was a little, while he had to concentrate. And when Javier knocked on the door before he opened it in, it was just as the Baroness was satisfied with the work and showed him the mirror.
Lloyd's brunette hair was tied in half. The part that covers the face is attached to the hair clip to not cover his eyes too much But the other half of the hair was still laid on the shoulders, but it was much more neatly combed than before. To be honest, Lloyd didn't think it was that bad. There weren't any accessories that would tangle him and his work. He's pretty okay with it.
Javier seemed surprised by what he saw. But before the young knight could say or laugh, Lloyd quickly got up and changed the subject to headed to the construction site. “ You're done talking to the Baron? Good, Let's go Javier. ”
“ Well, yes but uh… ” The silver-haired was trying to say something again.
“ Let. Us. Go. Now. ” And the cold smile of the young master was the sign for him to keep his mouth shut even he think about teasing him later.
“ Good luck, both of you ” The Baroness waved a small goodbye with a soft smile of happiness. She is now surrounded by floating happy flowers.
Luckily, no labours open their mouths to ask about it, although there are people who look at him with curiosity but no one dares enough to ask. Except the elder in barony who cooed at him and said it’s pretty or something that he can just shyly and quietly say thanks, which gave everyone around a shock for seeing this expression from him.
The next day Baroness wait him at the door as soon as he finished his breakfast, she push him down on same chair with tool in her hand. So Lloyd can only give her a faint smile; that time he knows that he had to tell Javier to wait for him at the door since today. “ g– Good morning? ”
She greeted him back with soft smile. He must admit, when she run her fingers through his hair it makes him comfortable, he acquaint enough because his mother usually play with Suho’s hair like this since his loose curly hair always wild mess and she loved to teased him about it looked like he matched with his dog when came back from playing around, with bright smile that he love the most.
“ Lloyd, what do you think ? ” Because he was lost in his memories the things that bring him back are the baroness' gentle voice and her faint touch on his shoulders.
He looked into the mirror, saw his brunette hair tied at his back of his neck also some of his hair move closer to middle causing them fall along his forehead’s ornament. It’s look strangely too familiar but then he figure out.
“ We’re matching now? ” said with smile Lloyd turned back to met her excited look, his now hair style look almost the same with the Baroness’
Marbella drawn wide smile on her face and chuckled happily. Today the flowers bloom so bright.
“ Thank you, and I’m taking my leave now ” Lloyd got up from the desk and walked toward the door heard the baroness’ voice said to him to not be overwork himself and don’t skip any meal, he responded but not promise since he was not sure neither he can do it nor he won’t forget it.
Little by little, it became a daily routine for the Frontera Manor. Before realizing it, Lloyd began to have more shampoo and nourishment, he went to sit and wait in a chair as soon as he finished his breakfast.
Marbella think about the new hair style and change hers to match with her son some times.
Javier stopped in front of the room if he had nothing else to do.
Arcos would sometimes stop talking to his son's knight because he wanted to see the results. But sometimes he has to settle his works.
The butler and maids were delighted to see the lady and the young master become closer than before.
The labours became accustomed to the fact that the young master changed his hairstyle almost every day, if not, then he would let it touch his shoulders and they guessed the Baroness was busy that day.
Sometimes there are games for early morning workers; they will guess what Lloyd's hairstyle will be today. Sometimes they even gamble a little for fun. Of course, Javier told those to get back to work before this reached the young master's ears.
Lloyd himself got used to looking in the mirror every morning. Today was a loose tie and a little braid at the end. Baroness says she likes braided hairstyles but braiding her own hair is too difficult.
The next day, his brunette hair was tied at his left side. At first there was the same light blue ribbon as the Baroness's dress. But Lloyd hurriedly stopped her and gave an excuse that he didn't think it was a fit for him.
“ Oh right. ” He glad that she seemed to give up about that ribbon. “ Your color is green, indeed. ”
Seeing, the mother of this body about to pick up the green color, same with his formal suit, he hastily stopped her again and use, the most basic, excuse that he had to go to site now.
Time passed, The Baroness started expertise in braiding. She braided her son's hair into a semi-crown to make it easier and tighter to tie the half-up. Plus, it's always been her favorite style. The other half of the hair that was beyond shoulders was let loose. She loves combing these brunettes the most.
.
And because it been a while that Javier needed to erase his curiosity. The young knight just opened his mouth and got interrupted by the young master who now seemed as if telepath. “ Shut it, whatever you want to say. ”
“ I just don’t understand, my lord ” The knight still said it, though “ Why don’t you just say no to her? or not just cut your hair to end it if you don’t like. ”
“ Oh that… ” Lloyd gaze away. Part of Suho liked that it made him relax, comfortable and can concentrate a little more. But it wasn't that he didn't want to refuse or cut his hair.
He, of course, wanted to. It's even reminded him of his mom, that's sometimes painful, but..
“ Well.. Baroness seemed so happy with this so… ” I can’t refuse. He liked when she was surrounded by floating happiness flowers that he couldn't say no to anything from those eyes with excited sparkles of her. His face tinted in faint red, it wasn’t embarrassing to do something to make your mother happy, Suho always remembered that but Marbella isn’t his mom, yet he can’t help himself.
Javier freeze paused, he thought the reason would be lazy or it's waste his time or something, so when Lloyd do this because he chose his mother’s happy made him surprised.
“ I excuse myself to do my duty. ” The young knight turned away. He hated to admit to himself in his heart that he was impressed with Lloyd's reason and actions.
“ Huh!? What is wrong with you? And isn't that your duty is– wait! Javier! ” Lloyd snapped at the knight back, tried to grab arms of person that look like to skip his work. He didn't blame Javier clueless, how could this man do his duty when Lloyd still not command anything to him?
A blue translucent window appeared in front of him. In fact, he was quite used to it because it appeared almost every time the Baroness was happy to get his hair done for him. or he thanked her about it. So he didn't that surprised.
