His heart didn't miss a beat.
"I believe you'd try," Peter said.

Buck al fin había entendido... le había costado 3 meses, 3 meses de silencios y miradas de enojo, de ordenes dichas con frialdad y listas interminables de tareas en la estación, de gente que se iba cuando el se sentaba a la mesa, de conversaciones que se detenían cuando el llegaba.
3 meses pero al fin había entendido: La estación 118 no perdonaba y aquellos por los que había luchado le habían dado la espalda.
3 meses pero le había quedado claro: el no era bienvenido ahí y esa no era su familia, nunca lo había sido.Y ahora solo quedaba dejar ir.
Pero una llamada y una niña que le recuerda demasiado a el podrían ser la solución para el frio en su vida y su corazón.
