Tbh, just a short thing i wrote in Nanowrimo XD and the first thing i wrote in years and also kinda my first kinda fanfiction, so yeah :D don't rlly expect anyone to read it but if you do, I hope you enjoy it :D if I'm rlly motivated i might add another chapter but rn i like it how it is :D

A heavily armored man ran into the room, panting, panically looking around: “Jaskier, where are you?”
He finally took the time and asked panicked, looking around the massacre: “Where is Jask…? What happened here…?”
A violet-eyed woman joined him: “What happened? Where’s the bard? And why does this room look like a blood bath?”
“Hmmm”
“So you don’t know either. Someone must have been here before us… but who? And who would kidnap a kidnapped bard?”
“Well, the witch said and looked at the killed men on the ground: “They won’t tell us that anymore… Let’s look around, they can’t have gotten that far, right? And looking at this massacre, at least someone must have noticed. Maybe we’ll catch them or at least find someone who knows more about what happened here.”
With a last look into the room and at the 10 brutallly killed men, the two turned around and left the room.
In the shadows, a cloaked person laughed… it’s funny how people jump to conclusions instead of seeing see the obvious. But are they to blame? After all, who would ever think that a delicate, useless bard like himself doesn’t need a witcher to save himself, he just needs a weapon…
