Work Text:

“Haa… that was brutal.” Joseph falls back against his bed, his body bouncing slightly on the mattress. Caesar sighs from across the dark room as he unties his boots. His entire body aches. He climbs into bed, and ignores the twinge in his back. He’s exhausted.

The regime today had been particularly intense. After nearly twenty days on Air Supplena, the rigour of training is starting to take a toll on his body. That first day had set the pace for the rest of the month; if they truly intended to master Hamon, it would be at the cost of their sanity.

“That lady is insane.” Joseph groans from behind his palms. Caesar can feel his distaste growing with every complaint. For how passionate Joseph is in battle, and insightful in the aftermath, he’s absolutely insufferable everywhere else.

“She’s crazy. Did you see that tidal wave? She could have killed me, you know. She’s lucky that I’m a quick thinker.” Caesar can feel a headache coming on. Their suffering is a small price to save the world, but you wouldn’t think it with the way Joseph complains. It’s not like Caesar isn’t also exhausted. Truthfully, he’s worse off than Jojo. He just doesn’t bother making a fuss.

“Ay, Caesar. Are you listening?” Caesar sighs again. What a waste of time.

“How unsightly do you think it is, to see a man like you complain?” Caesar isn’t sure why it frustrates him so much. He just can’t stand the incessant drum of Jojo’s infuriating accent in the back of his mind, chattering on and on about absolutely nothing. It makes Caesar feel strange. He doesn’t like it.

“A man like me?” Joseph asks, rolling over in his bed to face Caesar. He’s staring right at him. It’s a strange feeling to be watched in bed, so Caesar gets up. He shuffles to Joseph’s side of the room.

“I’ll let you in on a little secret, Jojo. Women don’t like pathetic men.” Caesar picks up the candle on Joseph’s nightstand to snuff out the wick, but Joseph grabs it out of his hand. He waves it in front of Caesar’s face.

“Where’s all this coming from?” He raises his eyebrow, and Caesar feels a twinge of annoyance. Nowhere. He’s just tired of his bitching.

“I’m giving you advice. You could do good for yourself if you cleaned up your act.” A man like you, he’d said, because Joseph is someone he’s found fit to accompany him. He doesn’t give out such compliments lightly. Under his childish demeanour, Jojo is a good man. He’s smart, cunning, valiant, and really quite attractive. Caesar is as well– attractive, that is. It’s just an observation. Objectively, they’re both handsome men. It’s not strange to admit.

“Is this about Suzi Q?” Not specifically, but Caesar supposes it does apply. Though he thinks that might be barking up the wrong tree. Caesar sees the way that Suzi looks at Joseph, with that amused little glint in her eye, like he’s a little dog running around without his leash. She’s clearly not interested. He’s also seen the way that she looks at him. He indulges her. Of course he does, she’s a pretty enough woman and flirting comes easily to him.

“Don’t fool yourself, she’s mine. Ladies love a hero. I’ll wipe the floor with those Pillar Men and come back with their heads on a stake. She’ll fall head over heels for me.” There it is again, that cocky attitude. It’s nasty. Caesar crumples his nose and cocks his hip to the side.

“You just don’t get it, do you?” Caesar clenches his teeth. The worst thing about all of this is that it doesn’t even matter. At the end of the day, Joseph is going to get the girl, because he’s the hero. He’s the main character, even in Caesar’s story. It’s inevitable. Joseph is going to settle down with a pretty woman, have kids, and then what? What is Caesar going to be to him? An afterword in the stories he tells his grandchildren?

“Ahh, I can’t even relax after all that training. You’d think they’d treat us better. I asked Suzi for a massage, but she was too shy to say yes.” Caesar rolls his eyes. Too shy? She probably stuck her tongue out at him and told him to go eat dirt.

“What woman would want to dirty their hands on your sweaty body?” Caesar says, and tamps down the surge of guilt at the image of Suzi’s porcelain hands kneading at the muscles of Joseph’s back. He imagines the balls of her palms pushing into the taught cords, working out the stitches in his shoulders until he’s a puddle of satisfaction under her. Caesar’s hands twitch. How disgusting.

“You wouldn’t understand such things, Caesar. It’s a special kind of connection.” Joseph says with full confidence, like an idiot. As if he has any kind of connection with that woman. Caesar’s distaste is starting to show on his face, even though he’s trying his best to not let something so trivial rile him up. He doesn’t know why he cares. Women are a dime a dozen. Still, for some reason, the thought of Joseph’s hands on Suzi makes him violently jealous. He sighs and grabs the candle out of Joseph’s hand, putting it down on the table.

“If you really need such things, let me be the one to do it.” Caesar shrugs off his coat. In the darkness of candlelight, Joseph watches him with keen eyes. His forearms strain as he stretches his arms out in front of him.

“Why? Aren’t you also tired?” Of course he is, but Caesar can’t stand by and watch Jojo harass an innocent woman like this. How uncouth of him, to ask for such a raunchy favour from a lady he’s just met. No wonder Suzi Q finds him childish.

“Barely. But for an amateur like you, Hamon training is predictably punishing. Your pain is familiar to me. I know where the stress builds.” Joseph raises an eyebrow. It’s not in Caesar’s nature to give without motive, but he’s willing to sacrifice some dignity for that poor woman.

“I don’t need a massage from a man.” Joseph stares at Caesar. He looks confused. Pitying. Like a fortress, formidable metal walls shoot up around Caesar. He doesn’t need to stand around and be talked to like this. He’s better than that– better than Jojo, and it’s frankly insulting that he’d make Caesar’s kind offer into something sexual. He should’ve expected as much from him.

“Fine. Suffer then.” Caesar turns around, but Joseph grabs him in a rush. A shiver runs through Caesar when his fingers dig into the muscles of his forearm.

“Haa, you’re so huffy. I didn’t mean it like that, Caeserino. Can’t you take a joke?” Caesar frowns at him, and Joseph smiles back. He shrugs him off with a huff.

“Get on your front.”

The lone candle doesn’t lend a lot of light, but Caesar doesn’t need to see for this. If anything, the darkness heightens his sense of touch. Sitting in Joseph’s bed with his hands on him is making his shoulders increasingly more tense, even as Joseph relaxes under him. Caesar puts his body weight into his wrists and pushes down into knotted muscles. Joseph’s entire body is stiff as a brick.

Caesar can feel strong muscles flex against his palms as Joseph rolls his shoulders. There’s so much power in him. The chords in his back, his arms, the big bulging thighs pushing into the sides of Caesar’s knees as he leans over him. Caesar revels in it. He loves the allure of strength, the threat of it, loves having someone who can keep up with his punches. There’s nothing more mesmerizing than the male form at peak performance.

“This is what you needed, right? Did you think that Suzi’s tiny body could work out these knots?” Joseph snorts into his crossed arms.

“Maybe not, but her tiny body would definitely work out other kinds of knots.” He snickers. Caesar sighs and purposefully pushes down a bit too hard into a sore muscle. Joseph yelps.

“At least pretend to be dignified.” Caesar shakes his head at him. The candlelight shadows the rough edges of Joseph’s shoulders, making them look even more defined than usual. Caesar licks his lips. It’s an amazing view.

“What do women see in these Italian snobs? I don’t get the appeal. What they need is a strong, capable man, not some sleazy sweet-talker.” ‘He’s really not good at subtlety,’ Caesar thinks to himself.

“You’re just mad that Suzi likes me more.” Joseph gasps, scandalized.

“She does not!” Caesar chuckles again. It’s nice when they get along. Despite the competitive nature of training, in those final moments, they’re going to have nobody but each other to count on. It’s a special kind of connection. If it was life or death, there’s really nobody else Caesar would rather have by his side.

“You are aware of why she likes me more, yes?” Joseph doesn’t respond. Caesar keeps talking, thumbs working out the knots in the nape of Joseph’s neck.

“Don’t be cocky. Tone down your attitude. Women like a modest man.”

“Cocky? I’m confident, not cocky.” Joseph grumbles like a little kid. Caesar finds it terribly endearing.

“Who are you fooling, Jojo?”

“Fine, but I’ve earned it! I’m a damn fine specimen of a man!” ‘It’s like he can’t hear himself speak,’ Caesar thinks, exasperated.

“Look. See. Cocky.”

“But you like when I’m cocky.”

“So what? I’m not a woman.” Caesar lets the words slip out, and freezes. Fear jolts through him. He didn’t mean to admit that. He didn’t mean to agree with Jojo. He was supposed to say that he doesn’t like when he’s cocky, because it doesn’t do anything for him, of course, because why would it? Joseph is insufferable. He’s impudent, he’s shameless, he’s– he’s childish.

“I didn’t…” Caesar starts, but he trails off when Joseph looks up at him with surprised amusement in his smile. He thinks this a joke. He thinks Caesar is a joke, and it makes Caesar’s blood boil. God, why did he say that?

“Oh ho ho, I didn’t know you were like that, Caesarino!” Caesar jumps back from the bed. He avoids eye contact, but Joseph tilts his head side to side to try and catch his eyes. The satisfied grin on his face makes Caesar want to punch him. How dare he humiliate him like this?

“Shut up. I’m not. You’re twisting my words.” Joseph only smiles wider.

“Hey, I’m not judging. It’s a free world. Love who you love, and all that.” He clearly likes making Caesar look like a fool. Just like Caesar thought, this is all a joke to him.

“Shut up. Shut up, Jojo.” Joseph snickers.

“Or what? You’ll stick it up my ass?” Caesar smacks the candle off the nightstand.

“SHUT UP!” He roars at him. The metal handle clatters against the stone floor. Joseph doesn’t flinch. He tilts his head, inquisitive.

“Woah. Okay.” He says. His eyebrows furrow like Caesar’s a puzzle for him to solve. Caesar doesn’t enjoy being toyed with.

There’s a long pause as they stare at each other from across the room. The candle is still light, faint and weak. Caesar clenches his fists. He’s trembling all over.

“I’m better than her.” Joseph blinks, oblivious.

“...Whaaaat?”

“I am better than her. We’ve trained together, Jojo. We’ve bled together. I match your blows, I challenge you, I complete you. What could she possibly give you that I can’t?” Caesar storms towards the bed, nostrils flaring. Joseph climbs back towards the wall.

“Woah, calm down.” Caesar boxes him back against the wall. His breathing is back under control, a perk of all the Hamon training. There’s a wary look in Joseph’s eyes, like Caesar is a wild animal. Caesar feels like one. He wants to devour Jojo.

“I bet that I’m a better fuck than her too.” Caesar whispers into his ear. There’s a beat of silence, then Joseph’s eyebrows raise. He smiles, the same smug, self-satisfied look that he gives his opponents in battle when he knows that he’s won. Caesar can read him like a book. ‘I didn’t know this guy had this kind of personality,’ he must be thinking.

“You think you can take me, big guy?” Joseph fists his hands in Caesar’s crop top. He smirks at him, and shoves him off the bed. Caesar braces himself on the bed frame.

“You wanted to let off some steam, didn’t you?” He backs up when Joseph swings off too. He saddles up to Caesar, and for the first time, Caesar notices their slight height difference.

Joseph doesn’t make a move. He just stands there, his chin turned up on him like he’s still winning this fight. Caesar wraps trembling hands around his neck. Joseph’s lips brush against his eyelash as he blinks. Then he reaches up, and kisses Jojo. All hell breaks loose.

Joseph pushes him back onto the bed. They tip over, still connected, Caesar’s teeth clenched around Joseph’s lip. They hit the mattress and Caesar tastes blood. It mixes with their saliva, the cut on Joseph’s soft bowed lips pushing into Caesar’s tongue as they kiss.

Caesar hooks one thick thigh around Jojo’s tiny waist and yanks him closer. He slams his hips up against him, giving as much energy as he gets, delighting in the heavy weight of Joseph’s cock pushing into his stomach. God, how he missed this.

“Ah… you’re shivering.” Joseph chuckles into his neck. Caesar closes his eyes, hands wandering over the writhing muscle of Joseph’s biceps, thick like iron rope. He digs his nails in. Joseph reaches down to grab his ass.

“Are you going to keep me waiting?” Caesar asks. He pushes his hard cock up into the toned plane of Jojo’s stomach to remind him what he’s responsible for. Joseph laughs. He thrusts his own hips down, dragging the length of his erection over Caesar’s hip, slow and purposeful. Caesar’s eyes widen. Oh.

“Let’s see if you can take all of it.” The thought sends Caesar into some sort of frenzy. His breathing wavers briefly, for just a second, but Joseph catches it. He smirks as yanks off his pants and Caesar unbuttons his as well.

“Is that a challenge?” Caesar quips when they press back against one another, naked from the waist down. Their cocks slide against one another, rock hard and throbbing precum onto Caesar’s stomach.

“Of course.” Joseph promises, reaching over to grab lube from the nightstand. Caesar’s eyes follow his erection as it bobs with the motion. There’s a large vein leading from the base up the side. It’s visibly pounding with blood, dispersing into smaller vessels that wrap around the thick length. It’s intimidating. Caesar’s reputation in that department precedes him, so he’s by no means small. But Joseph– what he has is inhuman. It’s a damned weapon. Caesar shivers. This is going to be a tussle, and he’s going to love every moment of it.

“Spread your legs.” Joseph says, his slick fingers slipping between Caesar’s thighs to push into him. Caesar tries not to clench down on them. His nails claw into the back of Joseph’s neck to keep him anchored. This feeling is too much.

“Hmm… just like that.” Joseph practically purrs at him, and the lazer focus in his voice has Caesar opening up for him. His voice really is attractive when it’s not spouting bullshit. Apparently, the only times that Joseph can curb his attitude for long enough to be bearable is when he fights, and when he fucks.

“That’s enough. Put it in me.” Caesar looks up at Joseph with fury in his eyes, his glare hard and angry. Joseph reciprocates with his own look. They stare each other down, caught in some kind of silent battle, throbbing cocks aching to push in and against and writhe until someone wins, or they both go down swinging. It’s a strange kind of lust, but it drives them both wild.

Joseph pushes the tip of his cock into Caesar, and a shiver goes down Caesar’s spine. He hitches his leg onto Joseph’s hip, pulls him down by the neck, anything to hold him prisoner as he puts all of that emotion into a kiss. Jojo isn’t going anywhere. He’s going to stay right here with him, because he’s Caesar’s.

The stretch gets tighter as Joseph presses the rest of his cock into him. He’s not nearly prepped enough, but it’s a nice kind of burn. A satisfying kind of burn. It’s like the pleasure of stretching a sore muscle, the aching after a long day of training, the same wonderful burn he’s come to associate with the strength and strong muscles pinning him down into the bed.

“Ah, you are so tight.” The hot length of Joseph’s cock slowly pushes into Caesar. He can feel it throb with blood, rubbing up against his sensitive walls. Joseph clenches his teeth as he impatiently drives his hips forward. Somehow, he manages to bottom out. Caesar can feel him in his throat.

‘So this is what they call warrior blood,’ Caesar thinks, clutching to the sheets as Joseph pulls back. He’s clinging onto that last shred of dignity but he can’t deny that he’s enjoying this too. Caesar stifles his breathy groans. It would be a disgrace on his name to give Joseph the satisfaction of reducing him to incoherence.

“You’re right, this does stretch the muscles. I feel better already.” The hard, chiselled plane of Joseph’s torso pushes into Caesar’s back. He can feel his peaked nipples poking against the cotton of their crop tops. Joseph adjusts his hips and a sudden thrum of pleasure spreads through Caesar’s stomach. He rests his burning cheeks on his forearm, head spinning.

“Haah– wait, don’t do that–” Caesar gasps, then jolts when Joseph starts to thrust into that spot. Loud thwacking noises ring out as skin slaps against skin. Joseph’s haunches flex as he grunts. He pulls out all the way before slamming back in.

“What’s wrong? Did you think I would go easy on you?” Caesar groans and buries his red face into the pillow. The weight of Jojo bearing down on him is intoxicating. He pushes his chest down into the bed, relishing in the stretch of his sore back muscles. He’s aching everywhere, his shoulders, his thighs, that place that Joseph keeps ruthlessly pounding into. His cock is stretching him impossibly wide. Joseph knew what he was doing all along, the cunning bastard, and Caesar’s fallen right into his trap.

‘At least he isn’t touching me,’ Caesar thinks, then Jojo reaches down to grab his cock. Caesar lets out a breathy moan, squirming against the pleasure. He doesn’t know if he should push back into Joseph’s chest or forward into his tight fist.

“You like this too, so don’t complain.” Caesar is too wrecked to answer. The bulging muscles at his shoulders tremble. He opens his mouth to complain, but it comes out strange and strangled when he feels a familiar thrumming emanating from Joseph’s cock. ‘No!...’ Caesars’ eyes widen. ‘He isn’t–’

“You didn’t expect this, did you, Caesar? This is my special move. If I concentrate my Hamon energy at the tip of my penis, I send out ripples of energy with every thrust!” Caesar lets out an unrestrained moan. Overwhelmed tears streak down his cheeks, his thighs trembling with pleasure. He won’t be able to last long like this. The force of Jojo’s Hamon is pounding all his sensitive spots. It’s driving Caesar crazy.

“Wait, you idiot! Don’t go so f-fast!” Caesar gasps, his voice wet from the tears. Joseph laughs deviously. He reaches down to push Caesar’s shoulder into the mattress, his hand speeding up on his cock. He reaches down to whisper in Caesar’s ear.

“And next you’ll say, ‘if you hit my prostate like that, I won’t be able to hold back!’”

“If you hit my prostate like that, I won’t be able to hold back!” Caesar gasps, his eyes rolling back. His mouth drops open. A humiliating whimper escapes him as his cock spurts cum over Jojo’s knuckles, but he can’t bring himself to care. His entire body is trembling with electricity. He trembles as the last few spasms hit, then he crashes down into the bed. He’s entirely fucked out.

‘I can’t believe he made me cum like that…’ Caesar thinks in the aftermath. Joseph is still thrusting into him, but the Hamon is gone.

‘He really is a Joestar.’ Caesar stares up with half-lidded eyes. His body is relaxed, sore muscles pulsing with a sweet ache.

“Ahh… look at you…” Joseph hisses, thrusts sloppy. Caesar tries to keep his sleepy eyes open. Joseph is staring down at him with possessive satisfaction, like he’s appreciating his handiwork.

“Just look at you…” Joseph says one more time. Then he hastily groans and pulls out of Caesar.

Caesar watches as his cock spits lines onto his lower back. A shot hits the hem of his crop top. Cum drips between his asscheeks and over his hole, and Joseph sighs contentedly as he strokes out the last few drops. He lets his spent cock smack Caesar’s cheek a few times. Caesar scoffs and rolls away from him.

Joseph lays back against the sweaty covers, breathing heavily. He’s satisfied with himself. “Hah. You weren’t half bad.” He says with a smirk. Caesar doesn’t respond. Joseph raises an eyebrow, and rolls over to look at him.

Caesar is curled up on himself on the other end of the bed. He looks angry. Bitter. There’s that burning distress in his eyes again, full of shame and guilt. Joseph scoffs.

“Hey. Hey, what’s up with you?” Joseph pokes Caesar’s shoulder. Caesar cringes away from him. He grits his teeth, the fire in his eyes flaring. Joseph can’t tell who he’s angry at.

“I did it again.” Caesar’s voice is scarily monotone. The fire fades away and he curls deeper into himself, letting out a self-pitying sigh. Joseph rolls his eyes. This guy.

‘He’s always been like this,’ Joseph thinks to himself, watching as Caesar starts to mutter under his breath. He clasps his hands together and Joseph realizes with a start that he’s praying. He recognizes this guilt. It’s the same fear that he sees on Caesar’s face when he lets Jojo run off into danger without intervening.

Just like usual, he’s blowing things out of proportion. He’s blaming himself for this— which pisses Joseph off, because what the hell is he even blaming himself for? For having mind-blowing, hot sex with a handsome guy? He clearly liked it, so why is he getting all worked up now?

Joseph smacks him again, harder. “Hey, bozo. What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Caesar breaks out of his reverie, blinking hard. He stares over at Joseph with an uncertain look.

“Joseph…” He starts, then trails off. Jojo grabs him by his crop top and pulls him closer. Caesar grunts when they thud against each other.

“Stop muttering under your breath and hug me.” Jojo throws his arm over Caesar’s shoulder. His cheek nuzzles into Caesar’s pec. Long, luscious eyelashes flutter on Joseph’s cheek. His eyelids flip open, and he stares up at Caesar, his cupid’s bow lips pushed out into a pout. Caesar laughs.

“You’re always the same, Jojo.” He says, ruffling his hair. Joseph smacks his hand away with a growl but he cuddles closer to him, like a dainty little woman. Caesar hesitantly wraps an arm around his torso.

“You like it.” Joseph yawns on his chest. Caesar relaxes when Jojo’s eyes flit shut. He’s really a very beautiful man. Caesar just doesn’t get much of a chance to appreciate it.

“I don’t mind it.” Caesar smiles. He kisses Joseph on the forehead, and rests his cheek on his head. His breathing goes soft. Jojo peeks one eye open. He smirks to himself as he watches Caesar snores silently.

‘He is so predictable.’
