Work Text:

Tweek fucking hated his parents.

He knew it was bad. He knew it was wrong. They fed him, they put him under a roof, they let him have a bed, a phone, a laptop, and a boyfriend. Even after all that, he still hated his parents. He hated that they fueled his coffee addiction. He hated when they joked about selling him to slavery.

So, that is why he was sitting in his bed, curled up in a ball, on his bed, hyperventilating. Honestly, not much could stop this. There wasn’t anything that could be done about his parental situation. He was going to have to tough it out until he was 18, which fucking sucked.

He wanted to leave now. He wanted to take Stripe #4 and Craig and get out of this fucking town. He hated everyone. He hated his parents. He hated the government. He hated South Park.

He sobbed harder into his pajama pants. They were space themed. Him and Craig got matching ones so they could think about each other at night. It may be odd to match pants, but he didn’t care. It made him happy.

It was probably the only thing that was making him happy.

“Tweek!” The door flung open and Tweek stumbled back.

He fell off his bed and looked up to the doorway. Craig was standing there, with a shocked expression on his face. The shock very quickly turned into a worried face.

“Jeez, Craig! You-you can’t just do that!” Tweek yelled. He sat up and pulled his blanket over him.
“Sorry. I wanted to tell you that I had good news.” Craig cleared his throat. “It can wait, though. You’ve been crying.”

Tweek wiped his eyes and sniffled.

“What’s wrong?” Craig shut the door behind him and walked over to sit next to his boyfriend.
“M-My parents are stupid..” Tweek fumbled with his hands, trying his best not to reach into his hair to pull out strands.
“Well, obviously. What did they do?”
“It- they didn’t do anything.. But they are just so.. So irritating! I can’t stand all their useless stories that lead to nowhere, their ‘jokes,’ their.. Everything! I-I can’t stand any of it! I wanna stop drinking this stupid coffee, so maybe I can act like a normal kid, but-but they are feeding into it! Everytime I ge-get remotely stressed, instead of dealing with it, they just hand me more of that shit coffee! I can’t stand it anymore, Craig!” Tweek fell onto Craig’s shoulder and started sobbing his eyes out.

Craig rubbed his back soothingly and shushed him.

Craig knew that saying anything to Tweek right now wouldn’t work, so his best bet was to just sit there and comfort him. It’s not like he really minded. He likes hugging his boyfriend. He likes making him feel better.

Honestly, if just sitting there in Tweek’s presence would make him feel better, then he wouldn’t ever leave his side. Although, that’s not always the case.

Craig pulled Tweek closer and kissed his forehead.

“There, there, Tweek. Just let it all out.” Craig whispered.

Tweek hiccuped in his arms and continued sobbing.

They both jumped when the door split open a tad. Tweek’s father, Richard Tweak, peaked in. He was holding a cup of coffee in his hands.

“I came in here to tell you boys to keep the door open. Oh, Tweek, are you alright, bud?” Richard walked over and kneeled next to the blonde boy. “Here, have some coffee. It’ll make you feel better.” He placed the coffee in Tweek’s hands and got back up. He turned on his heels and left, making sure to leave the door cracked.

Tweek just cried more at this, letting the tears drip into his black coffee.

Craig carefully pulled the coffee out of Tweek’s hands and got up. If Tweek really wanted to get off the coffee train, then he would help. He wasn’t gonna help by just sitting there and letting him drink his tear-filled black coffee. He walked over to Tweek’s window and opened it.

“C-Craig? What are you doing?” Tweek got up and pulled the blanket around his shoulders.
“You said you wanted to get over this coffee thing. Drinking it right now is not going to help you.” Craig poured the coffee out of the window and watched it hit the bush below.

Tweek opened his mouth to say something, but opted to keep silent.

Craig silently threw the cup away and hopped into Tweek’s bed. He patted the spot next to him and Tweek nodded. Tweek hopped into the spot next to Craig and cuddled up to him. Craig had closed the screen, but left the window open, letting them get a good breeze through the room. Craig ran his hand through Tweek’s hair and kissed his forehead, hoping he would fall asleep soon. Tweek grabbed his other hand and held it tightly on his own.

Tweek blinked sleepily and looked up at Craig.

“Thank you, Craig.” Tweek smiled at him.
“Anytime, hun.” Craig smiled back.

Tweek fell asleep in a matter of minutes, and Craig pulled the covers over them a little more. He fell asleep not long after Tweek did, with his hands still in the blonde one's hair.

Craig was glad.

He hadn’t done much, but he had done something. As a bonus he got Tweek to sleep. He felt like he was a good boyfriend.
