Will has been with Hannibal for 6 years now. They met during both of their last year of college. Immediately fell in love. They spent every single moment together, a week after seeing each other, they said they loved each other, on the first month of dating they built a home together and adopted a few dogs, right after they moved in they mated, during the 7th month mark Hannibal proposed to Will. They got married two months later, udderly in love. They never parted after their bonding and marriage. They spent their heats and ruts together never leaving one another. After their honeymoon Hannibal wanted to have children. Will agreed in wanted children, but he thought it was safe to wait until they both had stable jobs and did some more research into schooling, omega pregnancy, after effects, raising a child, gender studies, and anything else about children until they were both sure they were safe. Now it has been 5 years later. Hannibal and Will were in stable positions, Hannibal working at his own firm, and Will working for the FBI. Hannibal had asked once again if they could have children and Will responded with a bright smile saying yes, they could in fact have children. Hannibal had never been so happy in his life. 5 days later they both had their heat and rut, and Hannibal successfully impregnated Will. Right now Will is 7 months pregnant and desperately uncomfortable.
Will's pregnancy has been very rough. Jack decided that Will needed an early maternity leave and sent him home. Will is lying in bed deathly uncomfortable. His and Hannibal's pup currently kicking in his stomach and not getting any rest. Will had felt something was wrong with his bed. Like it had too little on it. Making him oh so vulnerable Will decided to find some more blankets and pillows to try and finally get some rest. Will layered 7 blankets and 9 pillows on to the bed before it felt almost complete. All that it missed now was Will and Hannibal cuddling. But Hannibal right now is working, and he wouldn’t be back until 6:00. Even then they couldn’t really cuddle together, Hannibal would want to make both of them dinner, make sure Will took his vitamins, bathed him and then, only then could they be together. William went to his and Hannibal’s shared closet to find some of Hannibal’s clothes. He grabbed 3 of Hannibal’s undershirts, one of his sweaters, and a jacket. ‘That seems just enough’ thought Will. Will brought all of this to his nest. He layered all of the clothing around the bed and under the sheets and cuddled up to Hannibal’s sweater. A few moments later their baby calmed down inside of Will. And he was finally able to get some sleep.

Hannibal had had a long day at work. Dealing with his awful patients, a truly annoying Franklyn who was blabering non-stop about the opera he was going to after the appointment. When he finally asked “Oh! Dr. Lecter are you going to the opera as well?” Franklyn asked. He knew Franklyn wanted him to be there. “No, I am going home to my husband, he is 7 months pregnant, which leads us to our next conversation. From the months of March 12th to August 5th, I cannot have in-person sessions. It will all be through calls, or any other preferred method of online speaking.” Hannibal said casually. He desperately wanted his child to already be here. He was so happy when he found out that his one true mate was having his child. He was also grateful it would give him an excuse to stay away from Franklyn’s disgusting beta scent.
He would be able to be with Will every single day being with their child. Will and Hannibal decided to wait until the younglings birth before knowing the gender. Hannibal is oh so excited. “No! You can’t leave me, you're the only therapist I have ever made progress with!” Franklyn exclaimed. Hannibal really couldn’t care less. “Franklyn, I am not leaving you. I am required to be with my child and lover, we will continue to make progress over the phone.” Hannibal said. Franklyn frowned but understood Hannibal’s choice, and that he wouldn’t change her mind. “OK, when it comes closer to the date we can make plans.” Franklyn said sadly. Hannibal didn’t give any fucks what Franklyn felt, he really just wanted to go home. “Alright Franklyn, it is the end of our session, i will see you next week. Goodnight.” Hannibal said before showing Franklyn the door one he left he took a deep breath in and out. So glad that he was gone and could go to see his love and future pup. Hannibal rushed to clean up his notes, grab his coat, and drive home.
Hannibal opened the door and was surprised when he didn’t hear Will moving around. He could still smell Will there which was very comforting by the smell itself. He ran upstairs to their bedroom excited to see Will. He was surprised to see Will made himself a nest. But was ultimately flattered to see his own clothes there. He ran up to Will’s side of the bed and gently shook his shoulder and whispered “Beloved? Beloved, I'm home.” Hannibal said, Will slowly looked up at Hannibal and gave him an incredible smile. “Hey hun’ put PJ’S on and join me, i finally got our little one to rest.” Will said. Hannibal smiled before going to change. Hannibal smiled and kissed Will’s temple before changing into PJ’S, cuddled up to Will and smiled when both of them purred in content.
