Chapter Text
Maneuvering around the hectic bar was far easier said than done, especially when you have three children following not far behind you like ducklings to a mother hen. More than once did Xavier have to intervene and pull one of them away from prying hands of drunkards and creeps altogether, until he finally noticed the man he was looking for sitting alone at a neat corner of the dimly lit establishment. The tables around him were just as empty, as if everyone knew well enough to keep their distance from the largely-built man.
"Excuse me". Xavier announced his presence, just as the other finished downing another shot of what seemed to be like whiskey.
The man raised an inquiring eyebrow, scanning the leaner male from head to toe before finally settling his gaze upon the three kids peeking in curiosity from behind his back.
"Not exactly a family-friendly place, I'm afraid. You must've taken a wrong turn somewhere." His voice was deep and husky, with just a tiny teasing note, testing but also curious.
Xavier's eyebrows knitted together, yet stood his ground. "Unless I've made a mistake and you're not who I'm looking for, I'm at the right place." He exclaimed, arms crossed in front of his chest.
"And who exactly are you looking for?" The man cracked a crooked smirk.
"Fredrinn the Appraiser."
The man leaned against the back of his chair, stretching his broad arms above his head momentarily like a leisurely cat under the sun. "You've found your guy then. So, pretty boy, what do you want? Got something for me to take a look at?"
Xavier exhaled a silent breath of relief, just as he heard the whispers of the children behind his back.
"This guy.. bad news." The redhead, Julian, cautiously warned, leaning towards the other two standing by his side.
"You're telling me." The girl, Melissa, nodded as she finished flipping off a middle-aged drunk that was blowing kisses towards her from across the bar. "Meeting spot for low-lifes. Why the hell are we even here? There's no chance any of these scum actually helps us."
‘’Xavier said we have a chance, so we might as well try! Nothing to lose!" The third boy, Yin, much more energetic than the other two exclaimed with a confident nod, turning his attention back to the conversation of the two older men ahead.
"There is a mission I'm about to embark on, and I'd like your assistance. I'm well aware of how you do business Sir Fredrinn, and I will assure you the reward will be worth your time."
The Rogue Appraiser barked out a laugh, his hand slamming onto the table with a loud thud.
"Did those rats at the Church not teach you to introduce yourself before asking for favours, ex-Arbiter of Light?" His dark violet eyes narrowed as he grinned, the man’s aura threatening and calculating. "Then again as fate would have it I'm all too familiar with your case. Branded a heretic and on the run from Ravens, with no less than three brats on your back. Stepping into the worst of territories in Los Pecados like your everyday hooligan. How the mighty do fall.."
Xavier narrowed his eyes at the not so well concealed insult, but did not allow his resolve to falter. As much as it ached him, going into this mission alone with the kids was a wish for death. He needed help, and the rude, despicable man of an appraiser in front of him was his best shot at succeeding.
"..My apologies for the late introductions, Sir Fredrinn. I am Xavier. These two are Julian and Yin," he explained as he pointed towards each of the boys, "And this is Melissa."
"Why hello there boys. Young lady." Fredrinn added with a wink.
"Ugh." Melissa narrowed her eyes as her lip curled upwards in disgust. Julian took a step in front of her just in case, much to the entertainment of the Appraiser who began to chuckle.
"Well I must say Sir Xavier you've successfully managed to pique my curiosity. Not that I've agreed to join you mind you, I'll need a little more persuasion than this. But we can discuss this mission of yours further back at my place. Much finer establishment than this hell-hole I'll assure you. And with a couple’ less prying eyes.’’ Fredrinn added, fishing out a few notes of cash from his back pocket and haphazardly throwing them onto the table next to his empty glass.
Xavier glanced behind his shoulder to the three little ones. Julian remained silent, while Yin offered an innocent shrug of his shoulders as Melissa rolled her eyes.
"..Very well. I will meet you there shortly then. I need to settle the children down first."
Fredrinn offered a low whistle as he stood up from his seat. "Such a family man. Not that I don't respect that." Standing side by side their height difference became fully noticeable amongst everyone, with Fredrinn being well over a head taller than the much leaner man. "Just don't keep me waiting. You wouldn't wanna catch me in a bad mood."
"I'll keep that in mind." Xavier responded with his usual stoic expression as he watched the man walk through the crowd of tables and exit the bar, whispers upon whispers from the other customers following his every step.
If Xavier could help it, he never separated from the kids. Not that he underestimated them, all three of them were exceptionally powerful after all. But kids are still kids, and by allowing them to follow him he had taken the responsibility of protecting them upon himself.
They had arrived at an old cheap motel nearby, and the adult male had just finished inspecting the inside of their room to make sure nothing fishy was going on. Seemingly satisfied, he crossed his arms over his chest and addressed the kids.
"And don't forget. Under no circumstances are you to -"
"To open the damn door unless we're absolutely sure it's you blah blah yeah we get it." Melissa mumbled quickly with another roll of her eyes.
"You sure.. I don't.. follow?" Julian looked concerned, the boy's instincts were always on point. Which did anything but ease Xavier's thoughts about meeting with the Appraiser alone, though he knew well enough the kids had to stay away from this one.
"I'm sure. We attract attention like moths to light either way, it will be for the best if I visit him alone and in secrecy." Xavier reassured them, in the midst of wrapping a long black cloak around himself that did a good enough job of concealing his form and attire.
"But what if it ends up in a brawl and we're not there to protect you?!" Yin whined as he sat on the edge of the bed, his leg bouncing up and down in clear discomfort.
"I think you're confusing who's supposed to be protecting who here." The older male replied with a chuckle. "I'll be alright. I highly doubt it will end with us throwing fists at each other."
"Yeah well you said that last time too and we all saw how that-"
"Like I said. Keep the door locked and don't open to anyone but myself." Xavier continued as if Melissa hadn't spoken at all. "I'll be back by tomorrow morning at latest."
"If..not?"
Julian's comment did an incredible job at dampening the atmosphere, as an uncomfortable silence befell the room for a few seconds. Melissa nudged him with her elbow, although it did little but make the redhead confused.
"..If not, you should wait a little longer before deciding amongst yourselves how to proceed afterwards. I won't tell you not to look for me, I already know you will ignore me and do it anyways. Just stay cautious at all times, and if it seems like a lost cause, leave without me."
And with that Xavier made his way outside the small room, Yin not far behind to lock the door afterwards.
"Julian!" Melissa yelled with accusation in her voice. "Stop that!"
"Stop..?" Genuine confusion was more than evident across the young man's face. If he had done something wrong, he had no clue as to what it was.
"What Melissa means," Yin began, returning back to the bed and sitting beside the other boy, "is that it's not very nice to say these things in such situations! You know he's leaving alone, he's worried, we're worried, no need to think of the worst outcome!"
"Oh." A scarce hint of understanding finally came forth upon the boy's features. "Sorry."
Melissa sighed, laying down with spread arms across the large bed. "It's fine. Let's just hope he gets back soon enough so we can leave this disgusting city."
Alas, the second Xavier stepped foot upon the doorstep of the Appraiser's establishment, he had a feeling it would take a while longer than he hoped for. Looking up towards the bright neon sign with the owner's name he let out a sigh, and pushed open the large creaking doors with a shake of his head. He might as well get this over with.
The shop on the inside was much more intriguing than the outside, he could give him that much. Intricate ornaments and artifacts decorated the room, propped up on shelves or cases across all walls and varying in colours, shapes and sizes. The Appraiser's reputation was no fluke, this room alone was probably worth a hefty fortune. And for it to be so blatantly on display like that, especially knowing the owner himself left quite often and still nothing was ever taken simply solidified the dark rumours surrounding him. You did not, want to get caught up with the rogue appraiser's wrath.
Said appraiser was seated behind a large desk at the far back of the room, a small round ornament in one hand that he curiously studied for several seconds, before carefully placing it aside and lifting his gaze to meet the other man's.
"And here I thought you changed your mind and wouldn't show up. I still had a few drinks to taste back there."
"..I do not go back on my word, Sir Fredrinn. I'm here as I said I would." Xavier replied, removing the dark fabric and taking a seat in front of the desk after he was instructed so by the other man. Xavier extended a slender hand into an inner pocket of his cloak, retrieving a small item concealed inside his clenched fist. "I'm well aware of your prices both for appraisal and missions alike, just how I'm aware I could never afford either of them."
Fredrinn laughed at that, a genuinely joyful sound. "You think I'll give you a charity case, then? You might be a pretty sight, but you're not that pretty."
Xavier ignored the remark once more, and extended an arm over the desk. He slowly unclenched his fist, letting the small object fall upon the metal with a chime-like clatter. Once he retrieved his hand and Fredrinn had a clear view of it however, his expression took a turn for the grim. He slowly stood up, making his way in front of the still seated man, before abruptly grabbing him from the collar of his cloak and pulling their faces close.
"Where did you find this? How much do you know?" The man practically hissed.
Xavier made an effort to mask his shock from the sudden outburst, but ultimately raised his hand to place atop the other man's in a futile attempt to pry it off himself.
"I only know what the rumours carry along. That you've lost a friend, and the crystal lodged in your chest along with that compass are your only solid leads of finding him. I came across this crystal by chance from an old merchant selling it as cheap jewelry, and felt what it's truly worth. I could sense the magic it carries, and that it might aid me in my mission."
Fredrinn listened closely at the explanation, his grip on the man unwavering but docile, for now at least. "What's this mission about?"
"One of the kids with me has been possessed by an evil god named Lieh. We've been attempting to find a way to dislodge him or even fully get rid of him, but so far we've only hit dead ends. The magic this crystal carries.. I could tell it is ancient and powerful." Xavier's sapphire eyes lowered towards the man's broad chest, and the large blue crystal lodged right above his heart, pulsating and emitting a gentle blue light. "If I'm correct to assume that the crystal in your chest and this one are related, then it is even more so powerful than I assessed. If that civilization was able to cultivate and seal such power into seemingly innocent artifacts, perhaps learning more about them would prove of use to me, and aid us in sealing that god away."
"And so you came to me."
"And so I did."
Fredrinn finally let go of the man's cloak as Xavier fell back onto the chair unceremoniously and with an annoyed expression.
"I believe that ancient power has done something to your friend so that you're unable to locate him. You have a compass after all, and even after all these years you've still not located him. Which means it's not as easy as to simply follow the needles."
Fredrinn's gaze was dark once more as he stared at Xavier, but offered no reply, neither to confirm nor to deny his suspicions.
"And so I believed we would mutually benefit from investigating the origins of this crystal together, both for our own reasons." Xavier continued.
"You believe..you assume. You talk too much, has anyone ever told you that?" Fredrinn barked out a sharp laugh, retrieving a mug from a forgotten corner of his desk and taking a loud sip of what smelled to be like coffee. "Mister know it all heretic."
"Call me whatever you like Sir Fredrinn. Your opinion of me is of little value. I stated my offer, and I am awaiting your reply. I will not beg for your assistance, so if you plan on rejecting do so quickly so I may take my leave."
Fredrinn took in Xavier's irked expression with a broad smile, somehow thoroughly enjoying seeing the man pissed off. "Pity. I bet you'd look good begging."
That seemed to have taken the Arbiter of Light by surprise, his mouth opening and then closing a few times in quick succession. ‘’And I suggest you kindly drop these highly improper remarks. I can only ignore them for so long.’’
‘’Improper?’’ Fredrinn raised an amused eyebrow as he grinned. ‘’Ah right, a man of the Church. Guess they never taught you about the birds and the bees huh?’’
‘’I fail to see how this has anything to do with my proposal, Sir Fredrinn.’’ Xavier quickly interrupted, his expression irritated even while a tint of red spread across his cheekbones. ‘’Do try to stay on topic.’’
The appraiser remained silent for a little while as he took another step closer to the seated man. Looming over him like this, he managed to look even larger and more threatening than usual to the point that it made Xavier shift uncomfortably in his seat momentarily.
‘’You make an offer you know very well I cannot refuse, Sir Xavier. So, you got yourself a deal. Give me a couple’ days to settle things down here for my absence, and I will accompany you.’’
Xavier let out a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding, closing his eyes as he exhaled deeply in relief. Finally. A glimpse of hope after months of running around in circles. Perhaps the Lord of Light finally decided to cut him some slack after everything he’d been through over the past decade. He stood up as he watched Fredrinn approach the desk and toy around with the small crystal in his long fingers.
‘’I’m glad we have reached an agreement Sir Appraiser.’’ He offered a small bow, before retrieving his black cloak from the back of the chair. ‘’Now then, I shall take my leave for tonight as it is getting late. I will make sure to drop by tomorrow or the day after to discuss the specifics of our setting-off. Thank you for your time.’’
The other man simply hummed in response, and with that, Xavier began making his way back across the vast room and towards the exit. However, no longer after placing his slender hand atop the door’s handle, a much larger one slammed into the metal with enough force to put a dent in it. The Arbiter of Light whipped his head around startled as he was, only to see the appraiser looming menacingly over him, effectively pinning him between himself and the door.
‘’Now now, where might you be going? I didn’t say this meeting was over.’’
Black cloak falling from his hands, Xavier instinctively took a step back only to find himself with his back flush up against the wall. ‘’Was there.. something else?’’
‘’You didn’t seriously think I’d agree to join you just in case I find something worth my time, right?’’ Fredrinn’s voice was low and dangerous as he leaned down closer to the other man’s ear. ‘’I’ll join along to check it all out, but that doesn’t mean I will protect or help any of you. That, requires extra payment.’’
Xavier cursed under his breath, he should have seen this coming. He had never heard of the appraiser being this easy-going or agreeable, in fact he had only heard the opposite.
‘’..What’s your price? As I’ve already stated, I’m afraid I won’t be able to accommodate your-‘’
Sentence up in the air, a rough hand abruptly grabbed the Arbiter by the chin and pulled him impossibly close, sealing his lips with the appraiser’s own. Alarmed, Xavier immediately raised his arms to push the other man away, only to immediately get both of them caught in a single strong grasp and pinned above his head. The more he struggled the quicker he realized his attempts at breaking free were futile, and once he inevitably stopped squirming and was out of breath, Fredrinn fully took advantage of his agape mouth to slide his tongue in, immediately running it over the other man’s and everywhere else he could reach.
Xavier swallowed a low moan, embarrassed at the fact that his body would even be thinking of enjoying this rough treatment. Feeling tears sting his eyes from the lack of air, his legs finally gave out, and as the other man finally let go of him, he collapsed against the door, breathing heavily and rubbing his sore wrists.
Fredrinn licked his own lips, wiping away any excess saliva with his thumb before smirking in content. ‘’I suppose this will do as payment. I’m not often so accommodating, I’m doing you a favour here you know.’’
He fully intended to leave it at that. Tease the man a little for being so serious all the time, and both of them could go their separate ways for tonight. But standing there, watching Xavier still on the floor panting for air with a flush across his cheeks all the way to his ears and staring off into the distance, suggested he reconsider his plans. He took a few steps closer once more, kneeling down in front of Xavier until they were at an equal height. Softly placing a palm across the man’s cheek, he gently nudged him to turn his head until they came eye-to-eye.
‘’Seems like you enjoyed this more than I thought you would, hm?’’
Xavier’s pupils were slightly trembling as he stared back, his breathing finally beginning to even out. ‘’..You’re lucky I need you for this mission, or I would have your head right here and now.’’
Fredrinn was shocked, staring back expressionless for a couple of seconds, before finally breaking out a bright, large grin. This man was much, much more interesting than he had initially appraised. Losing his step over such a feeble thing as a mere kiss, and still having the guts to act so high and mighty. Very well, two can play this game.
Fredrinn’s hands flew towards Xavier’s belt, unbuckling it quickly and yanking it downwards before the other man could even react.
‘’W-What in hell are you doing?!’’ The Arbiter’s brain finally caught up with the situation, squirming to get away only for once more to realize that he was against a door.
‘’What does it look like I’m doing?’’ Fredrinn calmly replied as he roughly shoved a hand inside the man’s underwear, taking hold of his cock before giving it a firm squeeze. ‘’Then again I shouldn’t expect a choir boy to know what is happening.’’
This time Xavier couldn’t supress the low moan that escaped his lips, making him tightly shut his eyes in embarrassment as he flushed once more. ‘’I know well enough what you are doing, stop it this instant!’’
Fredrinn however, managed to completely yank the man’s pants and underwear off with little trouble, as he then spread his legs apart with wide arms. ‘’Shut up already, just enjoy it.’’
He started with a slow, long lick from the tip down to the base, which seemed to momentarily do a well enough job of shutting the man up as his breath hitched. Observing his reactions, he went on to slowly yet steadily circle the tip with his tongue, eliciting the softest of moans from Xavier who found himself lost in the sensation, his back unconsciously arching as a hand flew up to cover his own mouth. Fredrinn didn't mind, if anything it would be a fun challenge to see how long the man could keep quiet for. And with that he took the whole length into his mouth, forcing himself to go as deep as possible until his nose landed on soft pubic hair and took in the musky, surprisingly not so heavy scent of arousal and sweat. His tongue continuing to work its way around the cock even as he felt the tip hit the back of his throat, and with the corner of his eyes he saw Xavier's toes curling inwards and trembling, heard him moan oh so loudly that his hand did little to nothing of covering up the sound. Was he even covering his mouth anymore? Although the angle made the tip lodge onto the back of his throat even further, Fredrinn managed to raise his head and look up towards the other man. There, he saw a man completely different than the stoic, expressionless fugitive of the Church that walked in merely half an hour ago. In front of his very eyes was a man losing himself in pleasure, breathing heavily as one hand grasped loosely at his own curly locks, the other hand on the ground barely managing to support his weight up. His face was completely flushed, and his pupils were blown so wide that the sapphire colour of his eyes was almost indistinguishable. His mouth hang open, a streak of saliva running down his chin and falling atop of his clothed chest. Xavier was debauched and dishevelled to say the least, all retorts and threats seemingly having vanished into thin air. All that was left was a man so touch-starved that seemed to relish in the momentary attention, chasing after pleasure even if his own mind was yelling at him to back away. With an audible pop and an obscene sound, Fredrinn released Xavier's now fully erect cock from his mouth, and after taking in the sight in front of him a few seconds longer he stood up. Placing a hand below the man's knees and another behind his back, he effortlessly picked him up as if he weighed nothing but a feather and begun making his way deeper into the room, behind his desk.
"Where.." Xavier finally snapped out of his high, eyes looking around in sharp and quick movements as if scanning his surroundings.
‘’Somewhere more private. Wouldn't want any late night visitors stumbling upon us first thing after opening the door." Fredrinn chuckled, and after pressing a small button on the side of his desk, Xavier heard a familiar sound of mechanical cogs and wheels turning, as he saw the bookcase behind the office-like area move aside and reveal a hidden room.
A remark about the Appraiser having secret chambers like some wannabe superhero died on Xavier's lips, as he took in the countless upon countless of clues, notes and maps decorating one of the room's grand walls. Some connected to each other, others were marked in bright red circles. It was evident what the Appraiser did in these chambers, however before Xavier could utter anything he felt himself suddenly drop, but instead of hitting the floor he landed on a soft large mattress.
Fredrinn began removing his jacket, throwing it haphazardly onto the floor before climbing onto the bed besides him.
As if Xavier only now realized the implication, he scrambled backwards in alarm.
"W-wait please."
Surprisingly, the Appraiser simply sat there on the edge of the mattress, eyes locked onto him like pray to a predator, yet made no moves of any sorts to get closer. "I'm waiting."
Xavier sighed a small breath of relief. "I-I cannot do this. I have to go back."
Fredrinn however gave no reply. He simply unbuckled his tight-fit pants, lowering them enough to easily shrug them off, leaving him fully nude apart from a pair of boxer briefs. A pair that did nothing to cover up the size of his now half-erect cock, its outline perfectly visible against the fabric and leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination. Xavier willed his eyes to move away from the sight, but as if having a mind of their own they completely ignored his commands. And so, he was left staring as he felt his heartbeat increase once more.
"Then leave." Fredrinn easily replied, as his own hand reached down to palm his own bulge in slow, leisurely moves. "Door's open, we're not locked in here. I won't stop you this time."
Xavier was still unable to pry his eyes off the sight of the Appraiser's long, thick fingers tracing the outline of his own cock, tugging at it every here and then as he slowly grew fully erect.
"Xavier."
The pair of sapphire eyes shot up at lightning speed, meeting a pair of much darker violet ones, calm and serene, but also hiding a promise underneath.
"You have ten seconds to leave this room, I'll even count down. If you're still in here after I'm done counting, I promise I'll fuck you into the mattress so hard you won't be able to move tomorrow."
All colour drained from Xavier's flushed face.
"Ten."
He extended a leg, cautiously stepping onto the floor. Yet Fredrinn made no attempt to even move an inch.
"Nine."
Xavier had to leave.
"Eight."
It wasn't just for the kids waiting for him back at the motel full of worry, he had no right to be indulging in such things.
"Seven."
He grew up celibate as he dedicated his life to the Church and the Lord of Light, and although he had now stepped away from his duties he had never once thought of taking in a lover or anything of that sort.
"Six."
Pleasures like alcohol, tobacco or sex weren't for him. His life wasn't shallow like that, he always wanted to find deeper meaning and purpose.
"Five."
He got up from the bed, glancing around to find the pair of pants that Fredrinn had tossed aside when he brought him in here.
"Four."
He located them, holding them firmly in his fingers with bruising strength.
"Three."
He had to go. He owed this man nothing, he could leave and act as if tonight never happened, simply go on with the mission in a few days and their own separate ways after that.
"Two."
Xavier had to go. He couldn't stay.
"One."
He had to go.
"Time's up."
But he couldn't.
He had long now stopped feeling ashamed at the filthy moans that Fredrinn managed to get out of him with every lap of his tongue over his abused hole. Circling it, sucking it, shoving his tongue as deep inside as he was humanly able to, Fredrinn seemed to ravish him with no end in sight. And Xavier could only tremble, barely able to not completely collapse as he held himself ass up onto the air on his knees, arms wrapped around a pillow that no longer did anything to cover up his voice.
After a few more minutes of fully indulging himself to Xavier's pleasure, Fredrinn pulled away, wiping his mouth on his own arm in one quick movement.
"Turn around."
With some assistance of a pair of broad hands, Xavier managed to lie on his back, a deep, satisfied sigh escaping his lips as he could finally relax his aching muscles. With narrowed, teary eyes, he looked down at the much larger man as he finally yanked his own underwear off, revealing the overwhelming, and to Xavier terrifying size of his now fully erect cock.
"..Don't even think about it." Xavier whispered, his voice already going hoarse from all this foreplay that seemed to have lasted hours.
Fredrinn laughed wholeheartedly at that, scooting over while settling himself between the man's slender legs. "You'll be just fine. Trust me."
A retort died in Xavier's lips, as he saw the Appraiser's hand approach his lips, two fingers extended and barely brushing his skin.
"Suck."
And Xavier did just that, allowing his mouth to fall agape as the two digits softly entered inside, tongue lapping around and in between them more eagerly than he would like to admit. If he had any shame left, the obscenity of this situation would haunt him for months.
‘’Take a breath and relax.’’ Fredrinn instructed once he deemed his fingers wet enough, removing them and going straight back between the arbiter’s legs.
‘’Wait-‘’
The Appraiser was done waiting. Without any more warnings, he slowly shoved one finger inside, stretching him out in a way that he had never felt before, foreign and uncomfortable.
‘’Damn you..’’ Xavier hissed, placing a hand atop the man’s broad shoulders in a futile attempt to push him away. ‘’Shit. Hurts.’’
‘’Then relax like I told you.’’ Fredrinn simply quipped, adding another finger after waiting mere seconds. He began moving them around the impossibly tight insides, carefully watching Xavier’s expression to judge his next move. And eventually it paid off, eliciting a loud moan he’d never thought possible to come from a man’s lips. Bingo, he found what he was looking for.
‘’Wait, Fredrinn wait-!’’
But Fredrinn had done his waiting. Adding a third finger, he continued to stretch Xavier out as he assaulted that same spot over and over again. Hearing the ever so proper Arbiter moan away like some cheap prostitute at a shady alleyway did things to him he never thought anything could. Feeling Xavier’s fingertips draw blood as the grip on his shoulder clawed its way down, he wrapped his other hand around the man’s cock and gave it a few quick, rough tugs. Leaning closer to him, he licked a stripe across Xavier’s flushed ear, before whispering but a few simple words.’’
‘’Cum for me.’’
And Xavier did just that, throwing his head back and feeling his whole body turn to jelly as he orgasmed with a force he never knew was even possible. He briefly registered Fredrinn removing his white cloak with slow movements, now laying completely bare upon the white sheets.
Fredrinn’s gaze immediately fell towards the man’s now nude chest, pale and glossy, impeccable like a porcelain doll. He almost felt guilty about ruining something so sacred-looking.
Almost.
He wrapped an arm around Xavier’s slender back, pulling him closer to him as he began placing several soft kisses across the man’s skin, so slowly and reverently one would think he was worshipping the man’s body. Having barely come off his high after the orgasm, Xavier felt himself lose his breath as Fredrinn’s lips finally found a nipple. Jolts of pleasure forced his back to arch even closer to the other man, and a hand found its way towards his short hair only to tug on it harshly. His sensations heightened to the impossible, he could feel his nipples slowly harden under the attention, could feel heat pooling between his legs as he slowly grew hard once more. He gasped loudly when Fredrinn pulled his teeth against one nipple, before switching and taking his time to thoroughly suck the other one, decorating his fair skin with teeth marks and hickeys alike.
Feeling the man below him finally relaxed and pliant, Fredrinn aligned his cock with him, and slowly yet steadily began to push it inside. He saw alarm cross Xavier’s expression, and took quick notice of his teeth clenching in pain.
‘’Relax.’’ He instructed, pulling him flush against his own body as he placed a reassuring kiss atop the man’s lips before beginning to explore his mouth once more. That seemed to work well enough, as soon he was able to fully sheathe himself inside.
‘’Tight.. you haven’t done this before have you?’’ He inquired with a low hiss.
It took several seconds for Xavier to be able to form words again, as he offered a slow shake of his head. ‘’..Never.’’ He felt Fredrinn harden even more inside of him. ‘’Did that turn you on? Pathetic.’’
So he was still able to make snarky remarks. Still got some cheek left in him. So be it. Fredrinn was more than eager to prove who was in charge here.
Waiting out the barely appropriate time for the man below him to relax and get accustomed to the size inside of him, Fredrinn began thrusting slowly until he was flushed up against the other body, only to pull out just as slowly until the tip was barely still inside. He steadily kept this rhythm, fully enjoying the sight of the man in front of him fall apart from each and every movement, his own name being chanted like a prayer ever so silently. Xavier’s moans echoed from the walls and sounded deafening to his ears, and yet he drank them all in, the voice forever imprinting itself in his memory. Once he noticed him grow accustomed to the rhythm he abruptly switched up the pace, now harshly thrusting inside and battering Xavier’s prostate with his every move. Not even able to moan properly anymore, Xavier’s voice was close to completely dying out. Every sound he made was now sharply cut off by violent thrusts one after the other. And yet he felt no pain, everything had melted together into pleasure, something so primal and led by nothing but the instinct to please and get pleased. He could barely hear the small grunts of pleasure Fredrinn let out with every thrust and they did wonders to his ears and cock alike. Feeling himself leak with precum, once more close to his second orgasm he tightly wrapped his arms around the other man’s back, painting his back red with his nails. After a particularly harsh bite against the side of his neck, he felt the low husky voice close against his ear.
‘’You got any clue how you look like right now? Like some wanton whore I picked off the side of a street.’’
Xavier flushed from the remark yet his lip still twitched with anger, frowning as much as he felt able to. ‘’..Fuck you.’’
Fredrinn let out a low, disturbing laugh. ‘’Don’t believe me?’’
Xavier gasped as he felt himself being lifted off the bed and moved across the room, all while still impaled on Fredrinn’s hard cock.
‘’What in hell are you-‘’
Fredrinn abruptly stopped at a corner of the room, settling himself on the floor with Xavier still wrapped around him on his lap. Two large hands grabbed him by the waist and lifted him up, turning him around effortlessly so that his back was now flush against Fredrinn’s broad chest.
‘’Take a look, Arbiter of Light.’’
Managing to clear his vision after blinking his tears away, Xavier stared in front of him, only to meet his own horrified expression. No, this man wasn’t him. He was looking at a large body-scaled mirror, but the man looking back wasn’t him. It couldn’t have been. This man was flushed red from head to toe, countless bite marks and bruises decorated his whole body, hand imprints around his waist and hips. He was crying and drooling with a mouth hanging agape, everything mixed in together and falling down his heavily rising and falling chest. His pupils were blown fully wide, eyes red and puffy after countless hours of crying. Curiosity taking the better of him, he lowered his gaze even further down, only to see his hole stuffed impossibly wide by Fredrinn’s immense girth. Has this been thrusting in and out of him all this time? How was this even possible? A thrust aimed at an impeccably right angle stole his breath away once more, as Fredrinn quickly picked up the pace again.
‘’Enjoying the show?’’ The Appraiser questioned as his teeth lightly nibbled Xavier’s ear.
He couldn’t look any further, he averted his sight and hid his face anywhere he could find, even if that meant he had to hide away towards Fredrinn’s muscular chest.
‘’Little late to feel embarrassed now, don’t you think?’’ Fredrinn chuckled, laying a soft kiss on top of his hair affectionately. ‘’Don’t worry. We’re almost there.’’
And at that Xavier found himself as easily maneuvered as a mere mannequin, once more on his hands and knees with his ass up against the air. His face against the floor, he allowed himself to get lost in the sensation of his prostate being brutally pounded, as his drool pooled against the floor. It took nothing more than a mere slap across his ass for him to shamefully reach his final orgasm of the night, just as he felt Fredrinn breach his deepest parts with an impossibly deep thrust, finally reaching his own orgasm and cumming fully sheathed inside of him. The sensation of hot, thick liquid stuffing him full was the last thought passing through Xavier’s mind, as he inevitably found himself slowly losing consciousness, his vision fading to black as he felt an ever-so-kind hand ruffle his hair affectionately.
Fredrinn lit the cigar hanging off his lips one more time with a frown. ‘’Yeah. I get it.’’ He leaned his head sideways as to pin the telephone receiver between his head and his shoulder, furiously scribbling away on a notepad propped against his thigh with his free hand. ‘’Yeah.’’ He felt the body laying serenely against his chest shift with a low, content grunt. ‘’Oh I’m not worried. It’s your head I’ll have after all if the information is wrong. So I don’t care in particular.’’ He replied in a lower voice than before, in contrast to the loud mumbling voice of the call’s other participant. ‘’Yeah yeah whatever. Call me if there’s anything else.’’ With that he hung up, throwing the device across the floor with little to no care as he leaned back against the pillow.
‘’..Could you be any louder?’’
Fredrinn’s eyebrows shot up in momentary shock, he expected the voice to be hoarse but not this hoarse. ‘’Just getting some intel regarding this mission of yours. Good morning there sunshine.’’
‘’Nothing good about it.’’ The raspy voice replied, as its owner finally turned their head and rested their cheek against the larger man’s pectoral. ‘’My voice is gone. I can’t even feel my legs.’’
‘’Well I did warn you about-Ow.’’ He felt a light punch against his abs, making him chuckle.
‘’..Any chance you can tell me last night was a nightmare and never happened?’’
‘’I’m afraid I’ll have to disappoint you.’’
Xavier mumbled something akin to a curse aimed at the other man as he propped himself on his elbow in an attempt to get up, only to unceremoniously fall back down upon the broad chest. ‘’Great.’’
Fredrinn laughed at that, a soft and gentle sound to Xavier’s ears. ‘’How bout you rest a while longer? I’ll go make us some coffee. You can get dressed in your own time, it’s still early morning.’’ With a ruffle of the man’s light blue curly hair, he slowly got off the bed, leaving Xavier to rest against the pillow.
‘’Don’t I need to wash up?’’
‘’You’re clean. You just weren’t awake to see it.’’
Great. As if the events of everything that went down weren’t bad enough while he was awake, now he had to wonder about what happened while he was unconscious.
Fredrinn made his way into the central room with a yawn, leisurely putting his signature white jacket back on as he fetched two mugs for coffee. But before he could place even one of them underneath the coffee machine, he heard a loud knock against the doors.
‘’Closed.’’
And another one, even louder.
‘’Still closed.’’
And a third one, that couldn’t even be considered a knock anymore. More of a slam into the door sort of sound.
‘’I kindly suggest you get the fuck away from the door before I personally open it.’’ Fredrinn announced as his eyebrow twitched in annoyance, only to see the door being blown open from what appeared to be a rather powerful kick.
‘’Where is he?!’’
He raised an eyebrow as he stood up and made his way around the table and toward the entrance. A woman’s voice. What woman? He wasn’t enemies with any women, was he?
Narrowing his eyes and finally catching a clear sight of the intruder, or more like, intruders, everything suddenly fell into place.
Xavier’s damned brats.
‘’Now now young lady, you better not start anything in here, I will be very upset if any of these artifacts get damaged. Very, upset.’’
‘’Like we care!’’ The girl, Melissa, if he recalled correctly flipped him off unceremoniously just as he saw the redhead next to her menacingly yet silently begin to make his way toward him with slow, calculated steps. ‘’Where the fuck is Xavier, what have you done with him?!’’ The only female called out once more.
‘’You’d better not have hurt him!’’ He heard the third brat make his way inside as well.
Boy wouldn’t that be a story to tell. And he was already getting a headache, hungover from both alcohol and sex. He didn’t even get to have a single sip of coffee for crying out loud.
‘’Calm down already, you shitty brats. He’s fine, he’s just-‘’
‘’I’m here, everyone can relax. Julian, stop.’’
Xavier entered from the back room at just the right moment, just as Fredrinn took notice that the redhead somehow had managed to stealthily make his way behind him with a dark-coloured chain aimed straight for his neck. Yet at Xavier’s instruction, he immediately dropped it, taking a step back as if he was a well-trained guard dog.
Fredrinn silently thanked anything and everything holy for the interruption. Not that he was afraid of facing off against three kids, if anything he would have to deal with them without hurting them or anything in this room. Or go with the second option, which was to explain what happened last night. And he sure as hell wasn’t going with option number two. Xavier had thankfully gotten up quickly and dressed in his usual attire, hiding any and all evidence of yesterday’s endeavours from his body. ‘’Didn’t I tell you to cautiously, plan your next move if I weren’t back by morning? And this is what you came up with, barging inside the Rogue Appraiser’s shop?’’ Disdain and disappointment were more than evident in his hoarse voice, even while he did his best to conceal that particular fact.
‘’W-Well..’’ Yin seemed embarrassed, a hand absent-mindedly rubbing away at his own nape.
‘’What the hell did you want us to do, put up missing person posters?’’ Melissa yelled back. ‘’Of course we’re gonna come here!’’
Then suddenly, something akin to realization seemed to flourish upon her features, as a small smirk painted her lips. ‘’Oh, I see.. I see! I suppose our worry was without need huh? Bet you had a fun night didn’t you, while we were locked up waiting for you worrying our asses off?’’
‘’What are you implying, Melissa?’’ Xavier’s voice was low and dangerous, yet managed to do absolutely nothing to wipe away the young woman’s smug expression.
‘’Hide these damn hickeys off your neck before acting high and mighty next time.’’ She stated with a mocking giggle, much to Xavier’s shock and Fredrinn’s amusement.
‘’Hickey..?”
‘’What’s a hickey?’’ The two boys seemingly asked at the same time, each as clueless as the other.
‘’Well, you see-’’
‘’Enough, Melissa.’’ Xavier pinched the bridge of his nose, rubbing away at an attempt to rid himself of the blush slowly painting his face. ‘’Let us return. I’ve settled everything with Sir Fredrinn, we shall depart in a few short days.
‘’Oh I bet you settled everything alright-‘’
‘’Oh so he agreed? That’s amazing!’’ Yin’s loud cheer overtook the girl’s snarky remark. ‘’Finally some good news!’’
Julian nodded in silent agreement, as he made his way outside first, followed by Yin and Melissa who was still glaring daggers at both adults in the rooms.
‘’Are you coming Xavier? Do you need a hand for that limping of yours-‘’
‘’Melissa!’’
The girl nearly toppled over with laughter as she began to skip her way outside gleefully.
‘’That’s some attitude.’’ Fredrinn remarked. ‘’Probably got it from you.’’
‘’She most certainly did not, Sir Fredrinn.’’
‘’Ouch. Back to Sir, are we? Guess I’ll have to take you out on a date for you to drop it for good.’’
‘’There is absolutely zero chance of me agreeing-‘’
Xavier’s sentence was cut off as he felt his chin being grabbed and a pair of lips softly being placed atop of his for mere seconds, before he was not-so-politely ushered towards the door.
‘’Yeah yeah sure you won’t. I’ll be expecting you here at 6 this evening. Don’t be late.’’
‘’Sir Fredrinn! I will not-‘’
‘’Bring the kids too! I’ll take you somewhere nice!’’ And with a wink, the doors to Fredrinn’s Appraisal shop were shut right in his face.
Xavier felt himself fuming, but instead of stooping down to the Appraiser’s level, he ultimately shook his head with an inaudible mumble and began making his way back to the inn. He’ll be damned if he took even a single step outside this evening.
‘’Ohh, he’s taking us out? That’s nice, we’re getting perks already, wow.’’ Melissa commented absent-mindedly.
‘’We’re not-‘’
‘’Oh we’re going out tonight? Is it for dinner? I’d love some fried rice!’’ Yin exclaimed in pure excitement.
‘’Listen here-‘’
‘’Steak.’’ Julian exclaimed with a nod more to himself than to the others.
Xavier sighed.
At least some people were excited about tonight.
