Chapter Text
Introduction
Michael gets his arm bit off by Golden Freddy while getting Evan’s head out of Golden Freddy. That story is Semantics over who left who first and is the first in the series. You don’t need to read it if you are reading this, but I recommend it (I wrote it after all).
Some basics of the AU:
- Michael has severe self esteem issues and believes himself to be extremely stupid and a bad brother.
- All the animatronics started at the diner. When Henry started a new location in Hurricane, the old freddy, chica, bonnie, foxy went into storage. Only Fredbear and Golden Bonnie performed for the more authentic Fredbear’s Family Diner experience.
- Once Mike dies, the spring locks are retired and the old animatronics are put on stage.
- The dead kids can’t make the animatronics run or anything right away, but they do possess them. Their souls are tethered to the animatronics, basically. The kids can exit the bots and wander, but not far. Once they can make the animatronics move, they can’t leave them anymore.
- Elizabeth gets preferential treatment because William and her Mother (I named her Sarah) have shared custody but both want full custody. Rip Evan, his mom doesn’t want him.
- Michael is 6 years older than his siblings and has a different mother (Clara) and the only one that remembers a time where they were poor/before Henry.
- Elizabeth becomes the Protag in Mike’s absence (I don’t see many protag Lizzie fics)
- Charlie doesn’t get murdered in the alleyway.
- The Aftons may or may not all be autistic. Michael certainly is and it's genetic. So.
- Oh, and William is still a horrible person. A lot of implied/referenced child murder. No explicit violence.
