Summary
Shock is like fear. A feeling that grips you tightly and takes control of your whole body. Your inhibitions are relinquished and it typically leaves you with only one of the two options-whichever your spirit was born with-fight or flight. You can try to think you’re making a choice or go against your instincts, but that’s the thing about shock. It’s quick, and it’s sharp. You don’t think at all, you act. You react.
It’s only natural whatever you do.
