Do Not Engage
Tony hated waking up in pain. And this pain radiated from the left side of his jaw over and up through his entire head. Causing one of his migraines.
He groaned and got kicked in the ribs and told to get up. His boss was there to bitch him out.
He just groaned again after trying to tell them off. His jaw threatening nuclear warfare on him. And he passed out again.
When next he awoke, he found he had had surgery on his jaw to wire it shut as it had been badly broken from the rifle but to it. He also had a bad concussion. Which was all the better to listen to Vance bitch him out about not stopping his partner from engaging and therefore his injuries were his fault. And it would serve him right if Vance didn’t sign off on the agency paying for his surgery and hospitalization.
‘Well fuck that and him and his precious agency.’ He thought to himself, as Vance made enough noise to finish off his headache. And cause him to pass out again.

Tony woke up later for the concussion check and motioned for his phone to be given to him. Getting a ‘Get real’ look from the nurse. He mimed texting a message. So, she just threw up her hands and reached over to hand him his phone from the charger.
He quickly unlocked it. Searched out the initial R. and sent the text to have his old RIMA Commander, now SecDef meet him at the hospital with a tablet as there was trouble brewing in Little China. And he was smack dab in the middle and injured to boot. Oh, and bring someone from the cyber division. Preferably his best hacker. And people to have on call for secret warrants because he was going to be counting coup this time around and taking as many scalps as he could.

General Hamilton, late of RIMA, and now SecDef and part of the Joint Chief’s, met Tony with a secure tablet. And had a secure sat phone ready for action. Getting, first the background report. Right down to the Israeli Liaison engaging against orders and therefore landing Tony in the hospital. And Tony’s bosses boss bitching him with the threat of not paying his bills for the hospital.
To which, Hamilton sent one of security to get a copy of the audio of Vance’s rant. Along with the video of his coming and going from the agent’s room. With timestamp on all.
All the while typing in his tablet a memo to have Vance come to office for a “talk” about backing his people. And getting a real answer on just what the man’s problem was with his agent.
From there, they got legal to get them security secret warrants for the time leading up to the op. And the op., itself of the full facility. Before, during, and after the engagement. As well as full security audio and visual of the Naval Yard and the Agency itself for the same.
Starting with the agency, and Abby’s strangeness that day, they backtracked her and her lab/office for two weeks, to a private discussion between her and Gibbs and setting up the sting of DOMINO. Then her work, in-between cases on it on her work computer. They got the warrant to access by their cyber team. Along with the back-ups going back to the beginning of her work. And got cyber to work on breaking it down further. All the while getting the warrant for the hack into the facility on treason and facilitation of treason charges.
They then backtracked Gibbs to Vance’s office and the audio of his orders to find the mole via setting up the sting at the facility. Getting further permission for a download of Vance’s telephone conversations since he became Director. On both his work and home landlines, and his work and personal cell phones. All under the Patriot Act. And under auspicious of searching for an international connection link for espionage.
Getting Vance’s orders from Davenport to “clean-up the cesspool that is the agency and fix-it” which he took as his mandate to run rampant over everything. To the point, the Hamilton ordered a separate task force to investigate him and any/all links he had. And do a deep dive into just what blackmail Dav’id has on him to keep his daughter in place. And as such they were to have a full team from cyber do a full check on just what his daughter had been doing at the agency with the ridiculous access she had. And IA agents to do the deep background check he really should have had before now. With other agents finding out whose pockets were lined to get him in the agency in the first place with the idiocy they had about him. Let as well get him in place as the director.
From there, they tracked each person thought to be the mole. Doing deep background checks on each. And from the cameras, watch as Lee killed Langer. Wondering just why she wasn’t found before now. But getting yet another warrant for her phone and text records and traces on her phone. Going back to when she was on Tony’s team. After Gibbs had been blown up. Getting warrants to see just what cases she had touched in legal. Both before, and after her time on Tony’s team. And seeing just how many cases she had a hand in sabotaging in the morgue with her and Jimmy’s actions there.
With her being intimately involved with so many cases, Hamilton calls in the big guns in JAG to audit each and every case she even breathed on at a distance. To make sure every t was crossed and every I was dotted. And nothing was compromised.
The trace and computer/camera searches finding a man who was her contact and getting a facial id on him. And from there, his compatriots. And the order to raid their facility by Homeland with prejudice. A warrant for the arrest of Lee by Homeland to go with it.
And all this before finishing the investigation in how Tony got injured by the Israeli Liaison who was disobeying orders to engage during a sting operation.
They start with the theft of the body from the morgue by Vance and Gibbs. Adding desecration of a body to the list they would be charged with. Along with the illegal transportation of a remains via a postal service.
Following the facilities cameras and the perp’s cameras as they worked to infiltrate the base in what they called a war game. While, again, Lee waited in the wings to infiltrate after using Tony and Officer Dav’id as a distraction.
Casually walking through as security fight with Officer Dav’id and Tony is knocked out and his jaw is broken.
Lee downloading the fake DOMINO then walking out, as the SecNav is called in and security starts to pull back to their posts.
Heading out the back, as the SecNav comes in the front with Vance.
And all caught on camera. Thereby getting her for not only the murder of a Federal Agent, but treason and espionage.
And Dav’id up on charges for accessory to the attack on her superior by her own actions.
Actions that will have her under questioning by Homeland after she was arrested for said actions. Along with Vance and Gibbs. And to hell with her father. If she turns out guilty for what is suspected, she’ll be getting close up tours of black sites as she gets acquainted with each while undergoing questioning. Along with Lee and her handlers. And possibly Gibbs and Vance.
Not bad for being done from a hospital room base command so the co-lead in the investigation can get the medical attention he needs. And all on the dime of the agency under investigation.
