Work Text:
There’s a red paper dragon on Tony’s workbench. He opens a drawer and finds hearts and stars made from patterned paper. There’s a frog abandoned on a stair, and folded flowers decorating the dining room table. He gets out of bed and finds a paper crab stuck to his ass.
Their friends first chuckle at the proliferation of origami, and then sigh, but weeks later, Tony still smiles at each one, because they aren’t made with magic. Finally, after years of seeing his hands only as a sacrifice, Stephen has discovered the beauty and fun they can still bring him.
