Chapter 1: Author's Note - Before You Read

Before we start, I'd just like to clear up a few things: 

1.  Constructive criticism is very much welcome. 

2. This story is a work of fiction. Any resemblance of this story to real-life incidents or people is purely a coincidence unless mentioned otherwise.

3. I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS. The only characters that are mine are the main character, Harry's sister, and the Persimmons family; if there are any changes, I'll mention them here.

4. I've changed plots, scenarios, and characters, so they don't exactly match what happened in the books/movies. I've left out certain scenes and added some of my own, so they don't match the canon storyline. If I see one "wasn't this supposed to happen" or "isn't this what they said" comment, i'll throw hands. Some parts may be unrealistic asf, but THIS IS A FANFIC AND IM THE AUTHOR IM ALLOWED TO DO WHATEVER I WANT. 

5. In this book, let's pretend that none of the pureblood families have interconnected family trees (for obvious reasons).

6. This story contains mature themes and strong language. Reader discretion is advised. 

7. I apologise for any errors. I proofread my chapters before publishing them, but not all proofreading is foolproof, so drop a comment if you find any.
