I enjoyed seeing Hawkwing's thoughts about his abusive relationship. Please heed the tags, though. This is a shipfic, but the relationship depicted is abusive. It is well-done in that even though the relationship doesn't break up at the end and Hawkwing convinces himself that the relationship is okay the signs of abuse are clearly marked all over. The descriptions in this fic were also well done.
Warning though: it is heart-wrenching.
