Work Text:
Law was distracted.
Zoro couldn’t believe it. They were about to undertake an unhinged mission into enemy territory wielding nothing but a hostage and a bluff, and Law was distracted because he got his first taste of Luffy the night before.
Zoro was not impressed.
He had just woken up on the foredeck of the Thousand Sunny when the captain of the Heart Pirates meandered by, looking even more lost and shaken than he did when he’d stumbled upon Luffy’s evening pastime. Only a few hours had passed since then, and the man clearly wasn’t done processing it all.
Their eyes met for a lightning second.
Law turned away.
Vexingly, Law didn’t leave. He seemed to be burning with the empty need to say something but was struggling to find the words. Zoro scoffed to himself. What could Law possibly say to the lover of the man he had been openly coveting?
Zoro could have given him an out, offered a casual morning greeting and pretended nothing out of the ordinary had transpired between them. But Zoro wasn’t feeling particularly generous — Law hadn’t bothered to ascertain whether Luffy was already spoken for when he seduced him with promises of thrilling adventures by way of a pirate alliance. Zoro had yet to forgive him for the blatant overture. Last night, Law’s sudden intrusion forced his hand, and Zoro opened the gate in a moment of weakness. Now, in the light of day, Zoro questioned his own judgment.
The trouble was, Zoro was still on the fence about Law. His instincts oscillated between wanting to grab a drink with the man and needing to cut him down a few pegs. After last night, he was more inclined toward the latter.
Law was too haughty, he thought. Though in fairness, all the rookies had to be to make it this far. The way Law strutted around Sabaody two years ago with his flashy Devil Fruit powers marked him as a showman in Zoro’s estimation. There wasn’t anything inherently wrong with that, but then he went and rescued Luffy at Marineford, stuck his head out during the largest battle the world had seen in decades to rescue a man he’d just met, no reason or shits given.
He saved Luffy’s life and healed him when Zoro wasn’t even capable of being by his captain’s side. And that was a pill Zoro struggled to swallow.
Zoro hated that he hadn’t known about this tidbit until Punk Hazard. Worse, as soon as he began to ponder on why Law would be so selfless, he noticed the way Law’s gaze trailed melancholy and hope after Luffy’s shadow, and he immediately developed a headache.
Because Law wasn’t Koby or Boa Hancock or Vivi or Conis or any of the countless souls unchained by Luffy and as a result found him endlessly endearing. No; it was the other way around — Law was one of the few people in the world who fascinated Luffy.
When Law was around, Luffy’s gaze strayed to linger on the tattoos along the man’s knuckles and the rise of his shoulders when he summoned a Room. When Law was around, Luffy’s eyes glimmered with curiosity and stars and confidence and faith. Luffy looked at Law the way he looked at Zoro and the cook — with unwavering trust and a naked desire for conquest.
Zoro was all too aware of what awaited those who fell prey to that look.
(Once upon a dream, his captain crooked a lovely finger and Zoro sank to his knees never to rise again.
Once upon a distant memory, Luffy sighed airily in hunger and Sanji’s armor shattered into pieces never to be put back together.)
There existed no scenario in which a hot-blooded man on the receiving end of that look could escape its snare unscathed. This, Zoro believed to be an absolute truth.
In the present, in the empty spaces between them, Zoro got tired of indecision, tired of waiting for Law to find his words. Fact of the matter was, Luffy wanted to have this man, and he clearly wanted to be owned by Luffy in return.
For Zoro, that was the end all be all. Nothing in the world could be more straightforward. He would remain cautious. He still had his reservations. But in the end, whatever Luffy wanted, Luffy got.
He rose and dusted off nonexistent grime from his trousers. Law straightened his already impeccable posture.
The rules were simple, and Zoro felt no need to expound upon them. He merely stated, heedless of who might have been eavesdropping, “You don’t touch Luffy when I’m not around. And you don’t ignore him if you start to have regrets.”
“I would never,” Law responded, seemingly without thinking judging by the belated look of surprise and embarrassment that befell his stern features. He didn’t specify which rule he was replying to.
The seriousness with which Law answered him gave Zoro pause. Briefly, he wondered if he was worried for no reason. After all, under normal circumstances, he probably would have found this hilarious.
It was the cook’s fault, Zoro decided. If the idiot curly-brows hadn’t been such a pain in the ass from the beginning, Zoro wouldn’t feel the need to be so protective.
Just this morning, the cook was avidly avoiding eye contact again. He tended to get like this after spending an evening with Zoro and Luffy. Usually, he’d be able to right himself after flitting about Nami and Robin for a morning, but Zoro had a feeling this time would take him a lot longer to come around. Nobody had ever walked in on them before. The cook’s secret desires had never been laid open thusly to an outside party — flagrant, brutal, and inexcusable.
Zoro didn’t much care for Sanji’s hangups. He only tolerated the cook’s presence for Luffy’s sake anyway. He wasn’t about to go easy on him.
So after Zoro said all that he had to say to Law, he left the morose former Warlord to hunt down Sanji.
He found the cook preparing breakfast alone in the galley. Sanji didn’t react or acknowledge Zoro’s arrival.
Same bullshit as usual.
Zoro leaned against the dining table, and in the same motion made sure his swords clanked loudly against a chair. He warned, “Take your time pouting. Just don’t take it out on Luffy. But know this — if you don’t want to do this anymore, Law would cut off an arm for the chance to take your place.”
Sanji’s hands stuttered.
Having delivered what should have constituted a death blow, Zoro walked away. He didn’t have the time or energy to coddle a grown man.
Tough love — or threats, as it was often known — worked, it seemed. At breakfast, Sanji set out particularly large servings of Luffy’s favorites, which made Luffy glow. Even if Sanji couldn’t yet meet their eyes, Luffy was placated for the time being. When Luffy reached out in front of everyone to pat the cook on the shoulder in thanks, Sanji did not flinch.

Sitting in Kyros’ cabin guarding his dozing companions, Zoro nursed his tankard of ale. He’d come out of the battle pretty much unscathed. It was weird being the uninjured one for once. He didn’t quite know what to do with himself.
Luffy was snoring away on the floor, sandwiched between an exhausted Franky and a wounded Robin. He looked like a child who’d snuck into his parents’ bed at night. One of Robin’s arms curled protectively around Luffy’s middle, while Franky, sprawling spread-eagle, appeared to shield them both with a large left arm over their heads.
The urge to go over and check on Luffy’s breathing had to be tamped down. Zoro trusted Franky and Robin to protect Luffy with their lives — he just didn’t feel right unless his skin was somehow touching his captain’s. But Zoro held back. He didn’t own Luffy. He had no right to monopolize him to ease his own anxieties.
On the bed by the wall, Law and Usopp were in worse states. Usopp had drifted back to consciousness at one point, decided the pain wasn’t worth it, and willed himself into a semi-coma.
Law, on other hand, hadn’t woken up at all. His arm had been reattached by Leo and healed as much as Mansherry’s energy allowed. But out of all of them, Law had suffered the most damage, and strong as he was, a full recovery was going to take time.
Zoro spared another glance at the snoring Luffy and got up from the floor to check on Law’s dressings. Rebecca had changed it that morning before she was summoned to the palace with Kyros. While leaving, she’d volunteered Zoro to take charge of everyone’s medical needs.
He hovered over Law’s motionless body. Some color had finally returned to the older man’s cheeks, but his breathing remained shallow.
Out of sheer pettiness, a part of Zoro wanted to lay the blame on Law and say the plan wouldn’t have gone down so messily if Law hadn’t been distracted. But truth be told, Law was probably as focused as can be. Luffy’s impulsivity and Doflamingo’s heritage were two factors no master strategist could have predicted. Credit where credit was due: they all survived, and the country was free. They couldn’t have asked for a better ending.
Clumsily but carefully, Zoro adjusted the blankets over Law and Usopp. Cavendish’s words kept ringing in his head.
“He refused to leave,” the flamboyant swordsman had muttered to no one in particular. “He was ready to die by Straw Hat’s side. He’s not even a member of your crew… You’re all insane...”
“They okay?” Luffy’s sudden query jolted Zoro’s heart. His Observation Haki had great difficulty passively sensing his captain’s movements, so used was he to Luffy’s presence.
The tired and still groggy rubber man had crawled out of Robin’s sleepy embrace and ended up at Zoro’s feet, beside the bed where Usopp and Law lay. Luffy took the nearest hand — which happened to be Law’s recently reattached one — into his own.
Zoro replied, “They’re sleeping it off. No long-term harm, apparently.”
Luffy nodded. “Usopp fought hard.”
“He sure did.”
Luffy put his head down sideways on his and Law’s folded hands. He gazed up at Zoro and blinked those dark doe eyes of his, letting the unspoken intention marinate in the silence.
In that position, at that angle, Luffy looked soft and small. He was neither of those things, of course, but relaxed as he was after the heat of battle, in a rare moment of stillness, Luffy was calm like the sea at dawn, and a warmness emanated from his being, drawing Zoro to him.
Zoro’s entire being trembled.
Luffy looked like how a cozy home should feel. Zoro was overcome with an irresistible desire to close the distance between them, to reach out and kiss Luffy in the presence of everyone in a complete abandonment of propriety.
Zoro wasn’t quite sure when that hunger first began to manifest within him, that unreasonably magnetic addiction to Luffy’s presence. He wondered how much of it Luffy and the others could sense. He wondered if they knew the extent of his misery during their separation.
For two years, Zoro had effectively been drowning. There was no sun on that island he shared with Perona, Mihawk, and the baboons. There was no laughter no joy no familiar touch to abrade the calluses on his heart. The oxygen he breathed was thin and never enough. The food he choked down was unpalatable and nauseating. His dreams in sleep were endless with despair.
He wondered if the crew knew he’d gone half mad on Kuraigana.
As if sensing the darkness starting to take hold, Luffy freed a hand and wrapped it around Zoro’s ankle.
Zoro sighed again. Luffy’s head remained unmoving upon the back of Law’s hand.
He murmured a half-hearted reprimand, “You’re not playing fair, Luffy.”
You know I’d never deny you anything… anyone.
Luffy’s smile was devilishly charming. He was taking advantage and he knew it.
“He needs this, Zoro.”
Leaning in, Zoro swept one knuckle down Luffy’s cheek. Luffy’s skin was smooth and soft; it seemed rubber wasn’t conducive for growing facial hair. He pinched it next, testing the familiar texture between his fingers.
“Brat.”
Luffy beamed with happiness. Zoro shook his head.
“He’ll leave one day, you know, after our alliance is over. Even if he doesn’t want to, his pride won’t let him stay. And that’s the difference between him and the cook. Luffy, it’s not that I’m opposed. But at the end of the day, he will put his pride above you.”
Shrugging, Luffy said simply, “He stayed when it mattered. It’s easy, Zoro. He needs me. I want him. I don’t need to keep him.”
Zoro sank down to his knees. Their crewmates and Law still lay silent, but even if any of them happened to be pretending to sleep, Zoro wouldn’t have cared. Screw propriety. He never did have any use for the word.
He canted into Luffy’s personal space, seized the hand that had been teasing his ankle, and asked shamelessly, “And what of me, Captain?”
Luffy chuckled. He gave Zoro a slight tug so that their lips were a mere breath apart. The haughty grin he wore was one nobody else got to see.
“I have you, Zoro. And I’ll keep you. Because you’re mine, until the end.”
They kissed with Luffy’s right hand resting above Zoro’s thundering heart. They kissed with Luffy’s left hand intertwined with Law’s fingers. The Heart Pirates captain did not wake.

There was no good time for talking on the Going Luffy-Senpai. Never mind the insane stalker vibe of the decor deterred any possibility of a serious conversation, Bartolomeo had to be monitored at all times — Zoro had decided this upon seeing the ship.
He gave Law a wide berth, too, only really tried to ruffle the man’s feathers during the banquet with the self-styled Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Zoro was mostly busy out-drinking Hajrudin and, light-headed, preoccupied with watching Luffy dance.
Law watched too. In some form or other, Law was always watching, his one arm limp at his side and his eyes habitually drawn to Luffy’s shadow. Law watched as though Luffy’s laughter supplied heavenly mana and Luffy’s arms, open and ready to embrace whoever came close, delivered salvation.
No, Zoro did not attempt to talk to Law. It wasn’t the right time.
Then, when they arrived at Zou — finally! — the shoe dropped.
The cook left. The bastard did the one thing Zoro thought he’d never be cruel enough to do, the one thing Zoro had always feared but lied to himself about. Sanji actually abandoned Luffy.
Luffy was never going to be in a good way about it. Granted, he took it better than Zoro had expected. He had to get Sanji back, of course. And if that meant walking into certain danger, Luffy would do it without hesitation.
But this time, he wasn’t taking Zoro.
That annoyed him the most. Luffy was going to haul Sanji’s ass back but Zoro couldn’t go with him to watch his six. Their mission needed him elsewhere.
Sanji was to blame for all this. Zoro didn’t care about his excuses or reasons. He vowed that after Luffy dragged the bastard back, he was never going to let Sanji touch Luffy ever again.
That night, after each team’s mission had been strategized to death upon Law’s insistence and mostly everyone had turned in for sleep, Zoro wandered off.
He did that sometimes. Despite the crew’s insistence that he had the navigational skills of a deaf-blind toddler, he knew he could find his way back if he tried. Nights like this, though, Zoro didn’t mind getting lost a bit.
The city of the Minks sat half-abandoned after Jack’s rampage. Zoro wandered into an empty quarter, where walls were missing from multiple domiciles and a melancholy quiet blanketed a neighborhood that was once rife with warmth and laughter.
He walked, restless, until his Observation Haki could no longer sense another living being. From there, he entered a random home that, while in a sorry state, still had all its walls.
Mokomo Dukedom wasn’t cold, even at night. Constant traces of heat seemed to rise from the elephant that carried this city on its back. Zoro found a bed that wasn’t too soft and sat cross-legged on it with an intention to meditate.
Luffy was walking into the home of an Emperor of the Sea, and Zoro wasn’t allowed to go with him.
The trouble was, Zoro couldn’t voice his concerns aloud. If he did, then everyone else would begin to doubt as well. He couldn’t be the source of uncertainty where his captain was concerned. His faith in Luffy had to be absolute — and it was.
It was the cook he couldn’t trust. Not anymore. Not after this ridiculous stunt.
Meditation wasn’t helping. Zoro got angrier and angrier and couldn’t take his mind off it. It preoccupied him to the point that he had no idea he had company until a familiar timbre chimed at the door.
“A steak for your thought?”
Zoro couldn’t help the smile. “That’s not how the saying goes, Luffy.”
“Whatcha doing here by yourself?” Luffy hopped toward him.
Zoro shuffled to the edge of the bed and opened his legs; Luffy effortlessly slotted between them.
“Inventing creative ways to dice up the cook after you drag him back.”
Luffy laughed. His arms were warm around Zoro’s shoulders.
“I knew you missed him.”
Zoro opted for a wordless glare. He grasped the back of Luffy’s thighs with sword-roughened fingers and tugged until Luffy sat astride his hips. Then, he began to touch.
“Why did you follow me?” Luffy was usually pretty good at knowing when Zoro needed time alone.
His captain shifted. A subtle movement that revealed an unsubtle want growing between them. Zoro chuckled. He should have known.
“I’m leaving tomorrow, Zoro,” Luffy said, pouting. Zoro would have pointed out that men with half-billion-berry bounties didn’t get to pout, but somehow, such childish behavior always suited Luffy, no matter how much muscle and renown the rubber-man gained.
He ran his thumb over that pout, dragged the nail none-so-delicately over Luffy’s lips until they reddened and swelled.
In the hush of the abandoned abode, Zoro kissed his captain languidly and thoroughly. They didn’t get many opportunities to touch each other in stillness, with solid ground beneath them and no countdown to the next shift change or alarms of an impending threat. Luffy tasted like the berries they had over dinner. A foreign sweetness lingered upon their entwining tongues like a shared secret. His fingers clawed clumsy paths of pleasure-pain across Zoro’s arms, back and forth, pausing occasionally to fondle Zoro’s biceps. Grinning into the kiss, Zoro deliberately flexed his arms.
Luffy’s moan set Zoro aflame. His hands moved to Luffy’s perk bottom to massage the tenderness there. If he occasionally strayed too low to tease the still clothed opening that was surely starving after days of deprivation, it was only because neither of them had the patience for coyness or pretense.
Luffy was heading into danger come morning, and Zoro couldn’t go with him.
A flare of anger found his head, and Zoro bit it into the skin at the base of Luffy’s neck. He bit hard enough to draw blood. Luffy did not complain.
“Off,” Zoro demanded and tore Luffy’s shirt from his torso. “Everything. Off.” He let Luffy stand for just long enough to drop his shorts.
The result was that Zoro was fully clothed while Luffy had not a single thread left on him. Zoro could admit to having an unsavory preference for this dynamic — his larger-than-life captain bare and exposed, his to do as he wished.
The thought alone sent a shock of arousal straight to his cock. Luffy cupped the growing erection through taut fabric and sighed approvingly.
Zoro’s reflexive growl sounded beastly even to his own ears. He was on the verge of snapping his teeth to mark the other side of Luffy’s neck when he sensed their guest.
“Damn it,” he cursed.
Luffy laughed. Zoro didn’t think Luffy would actively invite Law here, which meant Law had the gall to follow Luffy and show up on his own.
Of course he did. This was Luffy. Law hadn’t been able to look away from Luffy since Sabaody.
Luffy gently rocked his pelvis against Zoro — a blatant bribe — and said, “I trust him, Zoro.”
It was grating how much Zoro trusted Law, too. So he said nothing, and went back to kissing Luffy.
It didn’t take long for Law to conclude that at least one of them should have felt his presence. A smart guy like him would’ve instantly deduced it as permission to come closer. A minute later, a stone-faced Law appeared at last and announced his entrance with an audible exhale.
Distantly, Zoro thought it was funny that Law walked in on them in the exact position they were in when he last left them.
They still hadn’t talked. Not really. The warning he gave Law the morning they entered Dressrosa might as well have been from another lifetime. Luffy was right, though. Law had proven his loyalties and his worth. And Law, more than anyone at the moment, needed Luffy to center him.
Zoro continued to focus his attention on making Luffy moan, but he also couldn’t ignore the shade haunting their doorstep.
With a final peck, Zoro broke the kiss.
“You’re not going to get an explicit invitation every time, Trafalgar Law,” he taunted.
Even so, Zoro decided to give an inch. He turned Luffy around bodily and scooped up Luffy’s legs by the knees, folding the man in half. He forced Law to look his desire in the eyes while he kissed and nibbled the back of Luffy’s neck — an erogenous zone that made Luffy crumble without fail. Spreading Luffy’s legs, which came apart easily, Zoro shifted the weight of Luffy’s right leg to his elbow and at last put his hand on his lover’s already weeping cock.
His hard work rapidly bore fruit. Luffy’s hips were moving on their own in half circles upon Zoro’s lap. Black curls hung from a head wantonly thrown back. Luffy’s eyes were shut from the pleasure, like he couldn’t bear diverting even a bit his overstimulated senses to the functionality of sight. Zoro squeezed the hot, pulsating member in his palm and was gratified to hear a half-sob, half-whine echo in the mostly empty room.
They made no attempt to stop their indulgence in each other. Law still did not move.
“Prissy little princess,” Zoro mocked.
But Luffy wanted this man, this sullen stormcloud of a pirate who seemed to come alive in Luffy’s vicinity, who would have welcomed death by Luffy’s side… just as Zoro would.
A final offering then. One last gesture of goodwill. If Law still couldn’t take the hint, then Zoro was kicking him out.
Zoro licked two fingers, got them as wet with saliva as possible, and sought out Luffy’s hole.
Luffy didn’t really need the stretch, but even a little bit of lubrication helped. He teased the rim of the opening, and slowly, eased both fingers in.
From his angle, Zoro couldn’t see, but he didn’t need to see, not when he already had the memory of it etched into his brain —
Luffy, bent over a flat surface, or a tree trunk, or a railing of their beloved ship, rubbery arms reaching for anything to hold on to while Zoro played with him to his heart’s content. Zoro could never withstand that sight for long, the sight of his hands taking his captain apart strand by strand. And he was certain Law would be equally defenseless.
Footsteps, first unsure, then impatient. Zoro opened his one eye and hid a smirk into Luffy’s hair.
When Law finally touched him, Luffy gasped Law’s name, that stupid nickname the rest of the Straw Hats picked up as well just to watch Law grind his perfect teeth. In the rising heat of the moment, though, “Torao” sounded like jubilation and relief, and Law could not remain unaffected any longer.
Seizing Luffy by his jaw, Law threw caution into the wind and kissed him. From such a close distance, Zoro could see the light freckles dotting Law’s cheekbones and hear the arrhythmic stuttering of his breath.
Luffy moaned happily into the kiss. Below, his body clamped down on Zoro’s fingers. Trapped between two swordsmen, Luffy had no room to maneuver. He could only grind shallowly in search of friction. Zoro massaged the inside of Luffy’s thigh with his free hand but purposely avoided touching his captain’s neglected cock.
Luffy was not known for his patience. He pulled away from his heated kiss with Law and demanded sulkily, “Touch me. Someone touch me!”
Law was nominated for the role by means of Luffy grabbing his hands and physically putting them on his groin and hip. Startled, Law instinctively pulled back, only to have his hands grabbed again. Zoro couldn’t resist a chuckle.
Their eyes met over Luffy’s naked shoulder. Law scowled, which only made Zoro want to laugh more.
Of course, Law took that as a challenge. And none of them was particularly good at passing up a challenge. His hesitancy quickly gave way to a need to prove himself, and the first thing he did in a bid for control was snatch Luffy away from Zoro’s hold.
It was bold. It made Luffy gasp, as Law picked him up and Zoro’s fingers were torn from his body.
Zoro was neither impressed nor irked. He chose to focus on Luffy’s pleasure, since everything had always been about Luffy’s pleasure anyway.
And Luffy was indeed pleased that Law was finally taking initiative. He smirked conspiratorially as Law deposited him on the bed next to where Zoro sat.
Law saw the smirk and was not happy about it. Bracketing Luffy from above, he turned his head and sneered at Zoro, “I don’t touch him unless you’re present, right? Then kindly stay put, Roronoa. And watch.”
Not waiting for confirmation or acknowledgment, Law set upon Luffy like a tiger uncaged. At last, they had provoked Law into shedding any and all reservation.
He went for the throat to bite and suck, making his own marks over the ones Zoro had left just minutes prior. Luffy’s laughter died midway as he was treated to Law’s full attention. Watching him, Zoro was reminded that Law was older than them both and had sailed the seas for far longer.
Zoro knew how to pleasure Luffy; he knew all the spots and techniques to make Luffy moan, how fast or slow to give it depending on Luffy’s mood. But Zoro had never laid hands on another person. His experiences were crafted solely for the sake of his captain’s enjoyment.
He could see now that Law had done this before, possibly more times than anyone would have expected of a man so stoic and tightly-wound, and the newness of Law’s touches caught Luffy’s body by surprise.
Law’s hands were broad and moved with intent, alternating gentle and firm over different paths along Luffy’s skin. His fingers lingered on Luffy’s chest to pinch and twist, and Zoro was amused to see Luffy’s whole body quiver at the treatment. His lips were equally unforgiving — even the slowest of his kisses looked firm and demanding, and they gave Luffy no room to breathe and no room for thinking. When his mouth moved down to replace his fingers at Luffy’s nipples, Luffy gasped for air, shouting, “Stupid Torao! Touch me! Touch me!”
Law conjured a room without speaking. A pillow disappeared from the bed and a bottle of cooking oil landed in its spot. Zoro hoped the mink owners of this home had no intention to return any time soon, or if they did, that they never question why a pillow ended up in their kitchen cupboard.
There was a certain deliberate lack of finesse in Law’s approach that had its own merits, Zoro reflected. For such a normally meticulous man, Law was shockingly unconcerned when he poured a generous amount of oil over Luffy’s groin. He scooped some up haphazardly and went to work stroking Luffy’s reddened cock. With the other hand, he coated his fingers liberally and sank three into Luffy’s body without warning.
Luffy’s mouth opened in a silent scream. His hand, which had been tenderly stroking the scar encircling Law’s right bicep, flung out blindly in search of Zoro.
Gripping Luffy’s trembling fingers, Zoro rolled his eyes. He had a feeling this had been Law’s intention all evening — to place Zoro in the role Law had been in on that rainy night in Franky’s workshop.
“Is this what you wanted?” Law growled, his hands stroking, twisting, never slowing, and bit the words into Luffy’s skin. “God damn it, Straw Hat. You’ve won. Your swordsman, your cook — that wasn’t enough. You just had to claim me too, didn’t you?” His teeth clamped down around a nipple and tugged mercilessly.
Luffy laughed and laughed.
“Because you needed me, Torao. Even at Marineford, you needed me. That’s why you came for me.”
“Fuck you.”
“Yeah! That’s the idea.” Luffy kicked Law in the hamstring with a heel. He demanded in absolute confidence, “Let me have you. I won’t break.”
Law stopped moving. He was looking at Luffy, just looking, like he was trying to take all of Luffy in and commit him to memory. Zoro watched the exchange curiously. He had a weird feeling Law was sad.
The frenzy had gone. Law was resolute but gentle when he withdrew his fingers and freed his own engorged sex. When Law finally joined with Luffy’s body in one clean, unbroken thrust, there was nothing but tenderness, so soft and at odds with Law’s obvious hunger that Zoro felt out of his depth for the first time that night.
“Straw Hat,” Law moaned, his eyes glassy and unable to move away from Luffy’s face.
“Nn… it’s ‘Luffy’,” Zoro’s captain was barely coherent enough to gripe.
Law didn’t repeat the name though. He likely couldn’t, too engrossed in the euphoria of being encased in Luffy’s heat. It was a feeling Zoro knew well, and his mouth salivated at the memory of it.
Rhythm failed Law at first. In spite of his experience, Law seemed at a loss for what to do. He opted for shallow thrusts, like he was averse to leaving Luffy’s warmth for even a fraction of a moment, and instead ground intimately against Luffy’s backside, taking his time to relish in every microsensation. But Zoro knew better. Zoro knew that on a night before they were to say a temporary goodbye, Luffy rather preferred the onslaught of a good, hard fucking.
Zoro let go of Luffy’s hand. Those rubbery fingers flew to Law’s hair. Harshly, like he was filing a complaint, Luffy dragged Law down to devour him.
When he was frenzied, Luffy’s kisses made no sense. He kissed like he was consuming a feast, or like he was attacking a fortress. There was no thought for the other party, and Zoro could see Law floundering, trying to keep up with Luffy’s assault.
Zoro found this Luffy incredibly endearing. Sanji always thought Zoro was insane, because according to the cook, nobody could enjoy kisses that aggressive. He was pleased to see Law landed somewhere in the middle.
In seconds, Law adjusted. He grabbed hold of Luffy’s hands without removing them from his hair, and he took back control with a firm push into the mattress.
Luffy gasped. His eyes flew open.
In the moment of reprieve he gained, Law pulled out all the way. Luffy’s immediate protest was swallowed up by Law’s kiss, which had taken on a hint of hysteria to meet Luffy’s feverish demands. Law bit back, brutal and pitiless, even as he coaxed Luffy’s tongue with his own, dancing together in a display of lewdness Zoro hadn’t really ever expected from the man.
Still entangled in that duel of a kiss, Law blindly sought out the bottle of oil nearby, poured the rest of it over Luffy’s upturned ass, and rubbed as much as he could gather into Luffy’s hungry hole, four fingers in one go.
When those fingers dove deep, Luffy screamed. He scrambled out of their kiss to gasp for air and to cry Law’s name. Law permitted him no room to collect himself, gathered even more oil on his hand, and drove in once again.
He did this several more times, even tucked his cock into Luffy once or twice, but always pulled out, like he was dangling satisfaction like a piece of meat, all the while invested in making sure Luffy’s inside became an obscene mess of wetness and need.
“Torao Torao Torao… ah! Ah! Please! Ah! You’re being mean!”
Zoro watched it all impassively. His erection lay at half-mast inside his trousers. Watching another man take Luffy did nothing for him. He had to focus on Luffy’s pleasure to get hard, and Luffy in the throes of passion was a difficult sight to deny himself. But right now, he wanted to observe Law a little more. He couldn’t lower his guard just yet.
Then, as if knowing why Zoro was watching so intently, Law began to talk.
“… Luffy,” he murmured the name for the first time hesitantly. “Luffy. See? I’m giving it to you like you wanted, Luffy.” So saying, Law lined up his cock and thrust in once more to the hilt. This time, he didn’t pull out.
“Torao!”
“Take it,” Law said, guttural. He began to thrust, properly now, fully in and almost fully out, before bottoming out again, in a pace that was unforgiving and honest in its lust. Law’s appetite had been denied for too long. He couldn’t look at Luffy anymore. The intimacies of it all was too overwhelming.
Head bowed and eyes shut, Law softly growled, almost too quiet to be heard over the sound of his cock reducing Luffy to a writhing, incoherent mess. He cursed, “Fuck…. You… It’s always you. You claimed me. But how do I take all of you? God! You feel… You won’t let me, will you? Damn you. Damn you, Straw Hat.”
Law talked as he fucked, the words seemed to flow easier when he didn’t have to look at Luffy, and Luffy never ceased squirming. He was crying now, little droplets of mind-numbing pleasure rolling off his sunburnt cheeks. Law had stopped kissing him in order to talk, and Luffy’s mouth opened and closed outside of his control, searching for something to hold on to.
In response to Luffy’s keening beseechment, Law’s eyes reopened. He straightened up to thrust at a different angle. With his clean hand — his right hand — Law stuck three fingers into Luffy’s gaping mouth.
Instinctively, Luffy started to suck.
Law’s eyes glazed over as he watched Luffy moan upon his fingers. He watched without seeing; or perhaps he was seeing everything.
Law’s fucking somehow grew even more savage.
Still, he kept talking.
“Look at you. Two years I’ve wanted to take you… I should have taken you. Threw you into my submarine and sailed away forever. You would’ve been too weak to fight. No one would have known. I could have been fucking you for two years like this.”
Zoro said nothing. It was just talk. Talk was the last resort of a man powerless to do more.
Luffy was nearing full. His eyes were wide open, searing desire and exhilaration into Law’s skin. Luffy was an honest lover and didn’t play coy games. He was ready, so he reached down to take his own hardness in hand.
He came in five strokes. His cock, covered in oil thanks to Law, had been primed for a while now. Luffy’s choked his orgasm on Law’s fingers, and Law was kind enough to fuck him through the never ending aftershocks.
When Luffy fell quiet — bone-soft, limbs limp — Law whimpered. He removed his fingers from Luffy’s mouth and slumped over, precariously supporting his torso with both arms on the mattress.
Law buried his face into Luffy’s neck. His thrusts slowed to a more manageable pace, but he didn’t stop.
Luffy was content. Smiling, he rubbed his hands over Law’s still clothed back, humming as he occasionally dragged dull fingernails across the exposed skin on Law’s neck.
Zoro could tell Law was still talking, but this time, his words were hidden and reserved for Luffy’s ears.
The only thing Zoro managed to overhear — and he firmly believed it was because Law allowed him to hear — was the heart-rending exhale that accompanied his little death: “Luffy… I love you.”
The grin on Luffy’s face stretched impossibly wide. He caught Zoro’s eye, and the grin turned triumphant, as if to gloat, “See? I was right! Look how happy I made Torao!”
Poor bastard, Zoro could only think. Sometimes, like that of a capricious god, Luffy’s blessings were actually curses in disguise.
The last vestiges of unease left Zoro’s stomach, and it was replaced by pity.
Slowly, Law peeled himself off Luffy’s body. He trailed kisses as he went, soft and weary. He attempted to recover his composure by hiding his face from Zoro’s scrutiny. Zoro didn’t mind. He didn’t need to see Law’s eyes to know how utterly and completely Luffy had broken the man.
All the lingering kisses, however, were simply fuel for a restless rubber man. By the time Law collapsed on the bed at Luffy’s side, Zoro saw his captain’s body was nearly ready again. And Luffy made that fact known with a deep moan and a firm hand around his reviving cock.
Just the sight of one tug of Luffy’s hand was enough to send tingles down Zoro’s spine. He couldn’t imagine how good Luffy was feeling now, still overstimulated from the orgasm while Law’s spent trickled out of him.
Zoro wanted to offer his services to his captain’s rising pleasure. He wanted to nourish Luffy’s gratification and feel him come apart under Zoro’s hands.
With that thought, Zoro’s erection began to fully strain against his trousers. He freed it without fuss. With one hand, he grabbed and lifted Luffy’s listless body atop of himself.
At an unimpressed Law, Zoro grinned. “You can leave now.”
“That wasn’t one of the rules,” Law argued, frowning.
Luffy was wriggling in Zoro’s hold, impatient and anticipatory. His captain was still hungry, and Zoro had every intention of feeding him until he was satisfied.
Because Luffy was entering enemy territory tomorrow, and Zoro couldn’t go with him.
“Then stay,” he said. “And watch.”
