Chapter Text
They were in a lush green garden. His husband’s warm hand felt nice intertwined with his own, as it always does. Him and Taehyung walked on the grass barefoot, bringing each other’s hands to their mouths from time to time, leaving a chaste kiss on the knuckles. Taehyung could feel the linger of his husband’s soft lips on the back of his hand, but he was never able to see it.
All he could see was a slender yet built body, with a tattoo sleeve on his right hand, skin the colour of fresh snow. The rest of his husband’s body, from above the neck, was covered by a dense cloud.
“I love gardens. Don’t you too, hyungie?” Came his voice, ever so sweet and pure. Taehyung was obsessed with it. It was the most angelic voice he had ever heard.
“I do. But I love you so much more.” His lips spoke without permission, but he had grown to truly mean the words now.
“You’re so cheesy.”
“Only for you, my love.” Taehyung answered lovingly, pulling his husband closer as his hands left the other’s and held onto his tiny waist instead.
“For the record, actually I love you the most.” He heard the voice as a soft whisper in his ear, bare arms marking their place around his nape. The man was wearing a white sleeveless tee, with his grey jacket wrapped around Taehyung’s waist. They were as domestic as they could get.
“You can’t win from me in this game, love. I had waited for six centuries in great anticipation to finally find you in that little supermarket in Seoul.” The elder stated, hearing a cute ‘hmph!’ near his ear. He could visualise his husband having rosy & plump lips, and how they'd form the cutest pout.
“Well, I waited three!” The younger vampire whined, as he playfully pinched the tan skin at his husband’s nape. “And Jin hyung’s supermarket is not at all little.”
“That’s true. And all that time we waited was worth it because I met you when I least expected it.” Taehyung answered with a giggle, his hands disappearing in the dense cloud as he tried to cup his husband’s face with his palms. He could feel the younger’s tender cheeks melt into the touch.
That was new. He could feel his husband’s face now? He was dying to trace his fingers all over his soft features and make a mental picture of it — but he couldn’t. Taehyung can’t control his visions, they’re just short glimpses from his future.
But it seemed like they would soon bless him with the moment he had been waiting six centuries for. He’d finally get to see what his future husband looks like. Finally get to meet, admire and hold the love of his life in his arms.
As soon as the younger vampire’s face would appear clear in his visions, he’d search the whole of Seoul until he’s face to face with him.
The moment would be so surreal. Taehyung has imagined it too many times – but now he knows that their first meet is going to be in some ‘Jin’ hyung’s supermarket located in Seoul.
When the vampire snaps back to reality from his vision, finding himself in his Seoul apartment’s kitchen with tomato juice flying all over the place as he had absent-mindedly turned on the mixer’s switch, seeing it go out of control and then shatter into pieces on the floor – he figured out he needed to buy a new mixer to be able to enjoy bloody marys again.
Checking his fridge to see if he needed to buy more stuff as he then made a list of all those things, Taehyung grabbed his car keys and put on the overcoat that hung by the main door, walking into the crisp evening with his hands warm in the coat pockets…soon feeling much more comfortable when he got into his car.
Turning on the in-car heater and channel 77 on the radio, he drove to the nearest supermarket whose owner's name had the suffix ‘Jin’ in it. He’s been driving this car for a few years now, and everytime he buys a new car, the advanced features never fail to amaze him. Also how the trends in news and music change every day, every month and every year truly boggles with his mind. He’s seen seasons go by more than a thousand times, seen how people used to perceive vampires back in the days when he was just turned into one, at the age of 31. He needed to go through the conversion to save his life from the deadly disease he was struck with, luckily having been born into a rich family that could afford the exorbitant process and medicine. It was when he fully turned into a vampire that he started getting these visions of his future, each of them including this one man who Taehyung soon figured out would be his future husband.
Over these six centuries, the intricacies of his visions have also grown tremendously. From only getting to see his future husband’s hands in the first century, to being able to hear his voice from the third, his lower body from the fourth and upper body till the neck as the six-hundredth year started…it had been a fervent journey for Taehyung.
Sometimes those visions are what held the vampire together. He’d come home tired from work to a lonely apartment, and suddenly get flashes of his future husband welcoming him inside with the warmest hugs and the sloppiest of kisses. It was all a cheesy blur back then, but it gave Taehyung enough strength to move on and stay determined in this bittersweet journey.
And so, here he is, humming along to a jazz song playing on the radio as the google maps directed him to the supermarket he chose to visit. When he arrived at the store, he parked his car in the huge parking area situated in front of an even bigger supermarket. It was an expansive one-storey building equipped with everyday provisions for both humans and vampires.
The world had changed quite a lot after vampires came into existence about thirteen centuries ago. Both the species have learned to peacefully coexist now, and many scientific advances have been made to understand & utilise the beneficial relationship humans and vampires have been procuring for a long while now.
One of the examples of this is Taehyung finding varieties of blood soups, desserts and other vampire snacks in the food section of many supermarkets he goes to. And to his pleasant surprise, the ‘Moon Supermarket’ - he reads the flashy name on the signboard - has a generous division for vampires in their food section.
“What are you looking for, sir?” A man with coral-shaded hair came to him, perhaps a worker in the supermarket. But then is it ethical for the workers to check out their customers so openly?
“Umm, tomatoes.” Taehyung answered, trying to ignore the man’s eyes on him. He was cute, and if the vampire didn’t have a future husband to find, then he’d very much like to ask the worker his name.
“My name’s Park Jimin, Mr. I-need-tomatoes.” The man anyways told him his name as he took Taehyung to the vegetables section and helped him in filling his basket with some of the tomatoes and other vegetables he needed.
“I’m Kim Taehyung, Mr. I-flirt-with-vampires.”
“Oh? You’re a vampire? Totally figured that out. Vampires have such intense eyes and they’re so hot –”
“Can you lead me to the appliances section?” Taehyung interrupted him mid-sentence, making the cute human pout. “I’m sorry, it’s just…umm, it’s complicated. You’re cute, but I’ve reserved myself for someone else.”
“Oh, that’s…totally okay! Yeah— they’re lucky! Why doesn’t anyone reserve themselves for me?” He trailed off in disappointment before coming back. “And the appliances section is that way, go straight then take a right.”
Well, that was weird. Taehyung had come here just to buy what he needed, not attract a cute worker the moment he stepped into the supermarket. The worker’s body didn’t look a bit like how his husband’s did in his visions, and he’s far too gone for him to even think about any other man.
He strolled towards the appliances section after picking up some blood soup cartons from the vampires’ sub-section, thinking of a recipe he could make for dinner using the soup. He’d still need a mixer for the recipe even if he’s not going to make bloody marys, so he finds his way to where the mixers are displayed in the appliances section— noticing a man, another worker, just standing by the shelves all sullen as he stared blankly at the newly launched mixers.
“Umm, hello? Can you recommend a good mi–” Taehyung asked in a tender voice but stopped mid-sentence when the man turned towards him, their eyes meeting for the first time…yet they seemed so familiar. He’s suddenly pulled into one of his visions, and the same eyes are looking at him with such fervour.
“Hello? Sir? Are you okay?” Came the same voice Taehyung was so obsessed with, his eyes tearing up as he was finally able to see a clear image of his future husband in his new vision and now, also have the man standing right in front of him.
‘Jungkookie. I’m your Jungkookie. All yours.’
“J-Jungkookie? What a p-pretty name.” Taehyung mumbled as the other heard it, his eyebrows dipping in confusion at the mention of his name and the unexpected compliment.
“Excuse me?” The younger vampire was not trained for this. He had enough problems of his own, so what is he supposed to do when he finds a customer crying and malfunctioning in front of him?
“Please don’t cry..? The mixers are really good and reasonably priced, I promise.” He tried to console Taehyung with his words, but they seemed to worsen the situation somehow. Now the elder was just frozen in his stance, looking at Jungkook with this longing gaze that the man couldn’t understand. Tears rained down his rosy cheeks as he took his cream-coloured napkin out of his pocket and dabbed at them.
“Oh my god…I’m not good at this. Hobi hyung!” Jungkook called for his friend as a man with a bright heart-shaped smile and fluffy auburn hair popped his head out from the gap in the shelf on their left, making the two flinch at his sudden bodiless appearance.
“What happened, Jungkook-ah?” He asked the younger, not aware of the crying man beside his friend.
“My shift is over…can you, umm, handle this?” Jungkook pointed at Taehyung who was too busy sniffing and crying in an overwhelmed state, kind of grossing the younger vampire now.
“Oh yes, don’t worry! I’m an expert at handling upset customers. Go have a good rest, see you tomorrow!” Hoseok chirped, getting his head out of the gap as he walked around and came to them, suddenly getting hugged tight by Jungkook.
“Goodbye, hyung. Love you.” He whispered in the human’s ear, tears forming in his eyes as well. But he didn’t let them drop. They can’t know how gravely upset he is, and they can’t know what he’s about to do tonight.
“Love you too, cutie. What happened, huh? You’ve been so clingy and cheesy today.” Hoseok whispered back to him, but the younger just gave him a faint smile and left without another word, lips trembling to say something but he couldn't. His feet moved on their own and took him to the workers’ restroom.
“Now you, sir. Tell me, what’s troubling you? Do you want a discount?” He turned his attention to Taehyung who was still in his own world— crying, internally screaming, sniffing and whatnot. He was wiping his tears the whole time and hence hadn’t noticed that Jungkook had already left him and his friend by the appliances shelves, going into panic mode when he realised his absence.
“W-Where?? Where did h-he go? Please I— Where did he go?! ” Taehyung cried out, eyes frantically searching for the man’s figure in the huge store. He ran through all the sections, desperately trying to find Jungkook. About ten minutes of running and searching, he found himself at the entrance of the supermarket, totally having forgotten his basket. The thought struck him as he walked back to the appliances section, hoping to see Jungkook there again.
But all he saw was Hoseok with his usual bright smile as he casually checked the price tags of the mixers, handing Taehyung the basket he left there upon seeing him return. He also bribed the vampire with some discounts so he’d buy one of the newly launched mixers, but his focus had now shifted from the appliance to his future husband.
He just went to the billing counter with whatever was there in the basket as his eyes roamed around, trying their best to spot Jungkook.
Had he left? Will he get to see him again? He will, right? Because now he knows where the younger vampire works. He can just visit the store again tomorrow and hope to not break down at the gorgeous sight of him again.
But oh, did he feel so blessed. Jungkook, by far, has taken away his breath by being the most beautiful person he’s ever seen. How did he get so lucky? It took him six centuries to feel this lucky, but now that he’s felt and seen it— he’s obsessed.
He can’t wait another whole day to get to see his future husband again. Absolutely not. He needs to see him now .
It was as if the universe heard him, because Taehyung finally spotted the man by the entrance of the supermarket, perhaps leaving for home. He was literally in the middle of getting his stuff billed but in the fear of losing track of Jungkook again, he leaves his basket by the counter and runs outside the store, trying to figure out which car was the younger’s.
But then he heard the loud motors of a heavy bike coming into motion, with Jungkook maneuvering it out of the parking lot as he drove down the road, out of Taehyung’s sight in seconds.
“Fuck it.” Taehyung cursed under his breath, an angry pout settling on his face.
‘Catch me if you can!’
‘Oh I will, my love. And then never let you go.’
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵
Even if Taehyung’s car was a brand new model, it’s speed and his sight couldn’t figure out where the younger’s bike trailed off to. Now he was at a red signal, hands crossed on his chest as he waited for it to go green. The vampire was beyond disappointed and frustrated with himself.
It’s normal to be this angry when you find something, or in his case, someone so precious after such a long time of patiently waiting…only to lose them in the next few seconds. All because you got severely overwhelmed and cried like a lost child in a supermarket.
Well, more than half of that sentence is true.
Taehyung grunted in disappointment, facepalming at himself. It’s justified to feel so overwhelmed and euphoric considering the situation he was in, but still. How could he just get swayed by his emotions and lose track of his future husband after finally fucking finding him?
And don’t even talk about first impressions. Jungkook probably found the elder vampire excessively weird and cranky. This is not how it was supposed to go!
But what can he do now? He can’t change the past. He doesn’t want the future to change. All he can do is work on the present. And by present, he means going back home and crying into his pillow until the next morning comes so he can see Jungkook again.
Yup, that is a foolproof plan. That’s what Taehyung is gonna do.
With the red signal finally turning green, he stepped on the accelerator and sped out of there, only to be stopped at another red signal a few hundred meters ahead.
Great. ‘Cause traffic is the best motivator for accomplishing your plans.
“Why am I like this?” He sighed, not very proud of his behaviour and thoughts tonight. He just wished that his visions could lead him to the younger vampire’s house. He needs him. Jungkook looked so much more beautiful in real life than he did in the elder’s visions…utterly breathtaking. But why was he having such a melancholic & lifeless aura to him when Taehyung saw him?
This thought triggered something in the vampire’s mind. His vision suddenly blurred, and when it cleared he saw himself at a funeral. Apart from him, not many people were present, and he recognized some of them.
There was the cute worker from the supermarket standing a few feet beside Taehyung, and the man with the heart-shaped smile having a devastated frown on his face as caressed the vampire’s back tenderly. Taehyung cried and cried, no amount of comfort making him feel better.
Then his eyes shifted to the tombstone, and what he saw made his heart drop.
‘Jeon Jungkook.
Ever loving husband and the most precious being.
1703 — 2025.’
No. This can’t be. He’s seen himself so happy with the younger in their future together, and never have the visions shown him something this alarming. What changed now?
Taehyung’s heart rate increased rapidly, his breathing becoming irregular as he snapped back from his vision, desperate to see Jungkook. He doesn’t care if he has to scan the whole city and knock on every door until he finds his future husband. He knows that could be a bit risky, but he doesn’t care. All he cares about is having the younger safe in his arms.
‘Save me, hyungie.’
He heard the cry in his ears as he was about the step on the accelerator, immediately recognising the sweet yet pained voice. It was Jungkook’s.
“My love, t-tell me. Where are you? P-Please.” Taehyung tried to ask the voice, hoping it would answer his question. But that’s not how visions work.
He heard the same cry again, but this time it resonated only in his left ear.
‘Save me, hyungie.’
“Left? Should I-I take a left??” He asked, trying to decode the reverberating cry. He heard it again in his left ear and took the cue, driving his car in the meant direction. After a few hundred metres, he was again at an intersection.
‘Save me, hyungie.’
This time he heard it in his right ear. He took the right turn and then drove straight, then took a left, and in ten minutes he was finally in front of the younger’s apartment building.
Taehyung got out of his car and ran to the lobby, rushing inside the elevator as he pressed all the floor buttons and then relied on the voice to signal him the right one.
‘Save me, hyungie.’
He heard the voice for the last time as the lift passed by the third floor. He got off on the fourth and took the stairs down, seeing two apartment doors on the floor.
One on his left, and the other one on his right. He saw a familiar name on the nameplate stuck on the apartment door to his right.
‘Jeon, 301.’
That’s the surname he had seen on the tombstone. This was Jungkook’s apartment.
“Hello??” Taehyung called out, knocking on the door. He waited for a few seconds but got no response. He knocked again, this time calling out the younger’s name. Still, the door didn’t open and nobody answered him back.
Was Jungkook not at home? But then why would the voice lead him here? He must be at home only.
What if he was in danger? A robbery? A kidnapper?
Taehyung didn’t have enough patience to wait it out, even if he was just on the other side of the door. He started kicking at it, breaking down the wooden structure in seconds.
The apartment was pitch black when he entered. The living room was in front of him, with the french windows of the balcony behind open, purple curtains swinging in the wind eerily. They stopped the dim moonlight from coming in.
The only source of light Taehyung found in the apartment was coming from the kitchen, so he ran towards it without another thought and there…there he was.
On the kitchen floor, a big cut on his tattooed arm bleeding out. There was a peculiar-looking knife in his other hand, blood clinging onto it. The bleeding had perhaps made him dizzy as he lay motionless on the floor, eyes tearing up when they caught onto Taehyung’s, pleading for help.
He went unconscious a few seconds after the elder picked him up, feeling safe in his embrace.
Jungkook didn’t know why…but he just felt safe in Taehyung’s arms.
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵
It didn’t take long for the younger vampire to gain consciousness. When he did, he found himself lying on the living room couch with Taehyung attending to his cut, almost done wrapping it up with the sterile gauze from the first-aid box he found in one of the kitchen cabinets.
He didn’t know this man. What was he doing in his house? Why was he treating his wound??
The elder vampire hadn’t noticed that Jungkook had woken up until he heard the man groan and try to move, immediately gripping the wrist of his injured arm tight as he was attaching a safety pin onto the gauze.
“Oh, you’re up. Don’t move, let me finish this.” He told him softly, shifting his gaze back to the wound as he quickly pinned the cloth up. When he looked at Jungkook again, he found his eyes staring at him with this confused and alert look.
“Aren’t you the man who was–”
“Ah yes, that’s me. I’m Kim Taehyung.” He confirmed the younger’s guess hastily, not wanting him to go back to the embarrassing first impression he gave to his future husband.
“W-What are you…doing here? How did you find me?” Jungkook was so confused. He remembers seeing the elder finding him in the kitchen and picking him up before he fainted. Somehow at that hazy moment, it made perfect sense. But now that the younger was fully conscious, he couldn’t understand anything.
“It’s, umm…quite complicated.” The elder replied to him, intertwining their hands together in the hope that Jungkook would at least try to understand what he was about to say.
“Please try to believe me. I’m, well, actually your future hus—”
“Hey wait! Where is my knife??” He interrupted Taehyung mid-sentence with another question, but the elder vampire understood and sympathized with his curiosity.
“It’s in the kitchen. Why do you—” And before he could complete his sentence, again , Jungkook ran off to the kitchen and found the knife in the cutlery rack kept by the sink. Taehyung followed him shortly, only to see the younger caress the knife and then try to cut himself again.
“Wait! What the hell are you doing?!” He instantly snatched the knife from Jungkook, hiding it behind his back. He couldn’t believe what his future husband was about to do. Was this what he did before Taehyung came to save him?
“What the fuck! Give me back my fucking knife!!” Jungkook screamed at him as he tried to retrieve it from the elder vampire, frustration and desperation getting the best of him. Taehyung could see it in his eyes.
“Bold of you to assume I’d give it back! Why are you trying to kill yourself?? You–”
“That’s none of your fucking business! Now give me the fucking kni—”
“ Shut up! ” Taehyung silenced him, getting an angry glare from the younger as his lips shaped into a cute frowning pout. He tried his best to not melt upon the adorable sight of that pout. Oh, how bad he wanted to kiss it .
“Give me my knife back.” Jungkook ordered him again, yet this time his voice was hushed and suppressed of anger. He was trying his best to control the burning rage inside him.
“That knife is fucking expensive . Cost me years and years of skillfully saving money so I could buy it and j-just…end my misery. Give it back to me.”
The knife suddenly seemed familiar to Taehyung. He’s seen it on a few billboards when the society still thought of the vampires co-existing with humans as unacceptable and foolish; but a few years later when the hatred finally calmed down for good, the printed ads for the special knife were taken down.
The blade of this special knife isn’t an ordinary one— it’s made by one of the rarest crystals on earth that has the capability to kill vampires. It’s the only weapon made and the only way to kill them. Nothing else can— vampires have an amazingly high regeneration ability. This powerful ability is also one of the things humans benefit from, as vampires who are willing to give their blood that has this unique DNA encompassing the regeneration ability is used for making medicine that can save humans from dying. It does have a side effect though, as all medicines do.
Along with the fast healing ability, it gives you a psychic power as the side effect. Scientists still haven’t figured out as to why does this happen, but it has something to do with the unique DNA affecting the human psyche.
And the clear proof of this was standing in front of Jungkook. Taehyung had been injected with this very same medicine, and the future visions he has been getting all these years is his side effect, unique to him. Other humans who have been turned into vampires this way also develop a psychic power, but it is unique to them.
“The visions never told me…” Taehyung spoke, trying to remember all the visions he’s ever gotten. None of them warned him about Jungkook’s mentally disturbed state. They’ve always been about their married life together, yet still none of them even gave him a clue for this.
“What visions?? Who even are you?!” The younger couldn’t control his anger anymore, desperate to know what was happening, and even desperate to just get his knife back and free himself.
“I’m…your future husband.” The elder vampire answered his serious question casually, not expecting it to silence him again. But then he saw Jungkook erupt into little fits of laughter, finding Taehyung’s statement utterly funny.
“You… You —” The younger tried to speak between his uncontrollable giggles, making Taehyung let out a sigh in inevitable defeat. Of course he couldn’t believe a single word the elder vampire just said.
“My future husband?? What, do you take drugs?! Are you high right now?”
“I’m not! Please listen to me.”
“Oh right I will, dear future husband .” Jungkook scoffed as he snatched the knife back from Taehyung’s hand in one swift motion, threatening him with it.
“What are you doing?!”
“Get out! Get the fuck out right now!” He strictly instructed him, thinking he had a good chance of getting rid of this stupid vampire. Once he’s thrown Taehyung out of the apartment, he would lock the perfectly attached door and then free himself from this world’s misery.
Yup, a very foolproof plan. Taehyung is really lucky that his future husband makes even worse ‘ foolproof ’ plans than him.
All he had to do was snatch the knife from Jungkook for the nth time, drop it on the floor and then step on the crystal blade with the sharp heel of his shoe again & again until it shattered into tiny pieces.
The younger was in pure dismay when he realised what had happened with his expensive knife. It took him a few minutes to process the situation, but when it struck him— Oh, Taehyung was gone. Ended. Over.
Nothing could save him from his dear future husband’s wrath now.
“What the fuck…DID YOU JUST DO?!?” Jungkook jumped onto him as the elder vampire landed on his back, finding himself pinned to the floor by the younger’s firm hands. Both of them were respectively enraged and afraid to realise the imitate position they were in— with Jungkook straddling his lap and their lips just a few inches away from touching.
“How fucking DARE you break my knife?! I told you it was fucking expensive! Who will give me my money back, huh !? I’m gonna fucking KILL YOU!!”
It’s just been slightly over an hour since they met and Taehyung already has his future husband giving him death threats. What an indeed beautiful start to their love story…would the younger let him even live to have one?
The elder definitely doesn’t think so. The way Jungkook’s eyes have turned blood red, which signifies intense rage and a sliver of starvation— he isn’t surprised when he gets bitten in the neck and feels a bit dizzy upon having his blood sucked out by the younger. It obviously wouldn’t be of any edible use to him, as vampires can’t drink their own species’ blood to satisfy their hunger but surprisingly…Jungkook found the elder’s blood quite fulfilling and delicious.
How was this possible ?!
“What the fuck…Why is your blood so delicious?!” He stated in disbelief as he sat back upright, his stare on Taehyung softening by the second.
“Perhaps because we’re fated, my love.” The elder vampire replied as he himself was stunned by their situation…but the answer soon struck him.
Unlike Jungkook, he had been injected with the vampire medicine which still might’ve let some of the human DNA and cells stay untouched in his body.
To talk about how the younger had been converted…it was a heart-wrenching tragedy.
“Do you believe me now, hmm?” Taehyung asked him in the softest voice as he cupped his face, staring into Jungkook’s eyes like he’s the only one who mattered to him in this hell of a world. This world that had done nothing but given the younger so much suffering, so much pain. But now that he’s here and has the love of his life safe in his embrace, nobody can stop Taehyung from providing him with all the happiness, love and care that he deserves.
“S-Stop it. D-Don’t…” Jungkook covered the elder’s mouth with his palm, not wanting to hear his next words. He can’t have hope. He doesn’t want to have hope. He’s just so tired of existing and barely making ends meet.
And it’s common sense to Taehyung. Anybody who’d have a life like the younger did would give up way before him. He’s so proud of his love to hold on strong until now.
“Let me speak.” He mumbled, removing Jungkook’s hand from his mouth as he intertwined it with his own ever so affectionately.
“I—”
“Shh. I know about your troubled past, love. How you were bitten to death by vampire bats at the young age of twenty-two, but you survived. Although your parents grew afraid of you and sent you away to Seoul, here, yet you managed to live by yourself for so long. You also have your friends back at the supermarket who would do anything for you, and now, you have me. I understand that you don’t know me like I do, but give us a chance. Give me a chance to provide you with everything that you’ve needed and wanted. Will you, my love?”
As Taehyung’s words came to an end, he placed a soft kiss on the back of Jungkook’s hand, their lingering stare all-consuming.
The younger didn’t know what or how to reply to such a big ask. He wanted to say no, that he was tired, but he couldn’t get himself to do so. Not when Taehyung waited for a hopeful answer with such fervour in his deep hazelnut eyes.
“One chance.” He let out a faint whisper, lighting up the elder’s orbs as he repeated his words, “J-Just one chance. And I-I swear if you fuck it up—”
“I won’t.” Taehyung interrupted him mid-sentence, feeling like the luckiest man alive. “I won’t fuck it up, I promise. I know how hard it is for you but…T-Thank you so much.” He teared up for the nth time this day, only Jungkook could bring out this utterly whipped and weak side of him.
“Y-You better not.” The younger, too, had droplets of his pained soul fall for the comfort that Taehyung had already bought him in a matter of the few hours they’ve known and felt one another’s complete presence.
They wiped each other’s tears and finally got up from the floor, feeling a bit shy and awkward now that their intimate moment had ended.
“Umm, are you hungry?” Taehyung asked him, remembering how the younger had bitten him earlier.
“A bit, I guess. There’s some blood soup in the fridge.” Jungkook answered, guiding him to the fridge as he opened it and showed him the soup cartons.
“Great! Let me make you the best blood soup you’ve ever had yet.”
Seems like Taehyung’s recipe for the soup won’t go to waste for the night.
