Yuuji groans, hiding his face behind his hands. He peeps between the fingers and watches Megumi for any reaction, then braces himself. "I just—I mean, I wanna try. For a baby. Can… Can we?"
Megumi's eyes widen for a fraction of a second, and Yuuji feels like he might just get turned down.

When he realizes he probably needs to get inside before he actually falls, he grabs the window behind him and pushes it open.
Only, the window doesn't budge.
Oh no.
Megumi growls in frustration, hastily wiping on his teary eyes. Then he tries again, pushing aside the panic slightly rising in his body. One hand grips the windowsill and another on the window case, fingers on the panes, and pushes up over and over.
But the window barely rattles. The sound feels like it’s mocking him. Oh fuck.
He’s stuck.
Or in short, Megumi is stuck in a window. Satoru's the first one to see him like that.

There was Yuji’s sweet voice. It was always filled with concern while brightening every space he entered.
“Yeah. We won. So why the waterworks?”
There was Megumi with his straight-to-the-point response. Satoru breathed in. He expected ozone and the remains of Hollow Purple. Instead he was greeted by the warm scents of his omegas. It hit him like a Domain Expansion. Hallucinations did not have scents. They were alive. By some miracle they had made it this time.
He opened his eyes and pulled his two mates into a tight hug. He sobbed harder. He did not lose them. Fate was not cruel this time around. He was not sure who or what to thank for it, but he was grateful.
