Work Text:

Hiromi stepped into the quiet house, the door clicking softly behind him. He slipped off his jacket and shoes with slow, deliberate movements, exhaustion weighing down his limbs. A tired sigh escaped his lips as he made his way into the kitchen. He reached for a glass, filled it with water, and leaned against the counter, letting the cool surface steady him. The clock on the wall read 11:00 PM. Too late. Again.

He had hoped you’d be asleep already—he was used to that by now. But tonight was different.

You heard the door, the faint rustle of his steps. Usually, you were fast asleep by the time he got home. But the silence had stretched long and lonely, and you couldn’t stand another night of missing him both coming and going.

Padding softly down the stairs, you rubbed your eyes, stifling a yawn. “Hey, baby. How was work?”

Hiromi looked up at the sound of your voice. The sight of you—sleepy, wrapped in a blanket of soft light from the hallway—was enough to pull a smile from his weary face. He crossed the room and gently cupped your cheek, his thumb brushing across your skin.

“It was fine,” he said quietly. “How about you?”

You shrugged, a faint smile tugging at your lips. “Boring without you here.”

A low chuckle rumbled in his chest as he leaned closer, wrapping his arms around you with a warmth that felt like coming home. He pressed a kiss to your temple, voice laced with affection.

“You’re addicted to me, aren’t you?”

You let out a soft laugh, your arms finding their place around his waist as you leaned into him, savoring the scent of nighttime city air still clinging to his coat.

“Maybe I am,” you murmured against his chest. “But can you blame me?”

Hiromi chuckled softly, the sound low and warm in his chest as he pulled you closer, enveloping you in his embrace. His arms tightened around you, drawing you flush against him, as if trying to memorize the feel of you after a day spent too far away.

“You’re adorable when you get like this,” he murmured, the corners of his mouth lifting into a tired, affectionate smile. “All clingy and sweet.”

His gaze found yours, eyes rimmed with fatigue but still glowing with something gentler—something just for you. He lifted one hand, brushing his knuckles tenderly along your cheek. The touch lingered, soft and reverent, like a silent apology for every hour he’d been gone.

“I missed you,” he said, voice quieter now, more raw. “More than I know how to say.”

“I missed you more than you know,” you murmured, your voice soft, laced with the weight of longing. “I just… I really wish work wasn’t so hard on you. You can’t keep coming home this late, leaving before the sun’s up. It’s not fair to you.”

Your gaze fell to the floor, the crease in your brow betraying the ache you’d tried to keep hidden. The silence stretched for a beat before your husband sighed, already sensing where the conversation was headed. He let his arms fall from around you, just long enough to ruffle your hair gently, the gesture affectionate.

“I know, I know,” he said with a weary smile. “But I’m a lawyer. This job—it demands everything.”

He leaned in, resting his forehead against yours. The closeness, the contact, was both apology and confession. Another sigh slipped from him, quieter this time.

“I’m sorry,” he said. “I never want to make you feel neglected. It’s just… the cases, the pressure, the deadlines—it’s nonstop.”

You shook your head, your fingers brushing lightly over his arm. “I understand. Really, I do. And it means everything to me, knowing how much you do—for us. It brings me a strange kind of peace, even when I miss you.”

Hiromi lifted your chin gently, cradling your face in his hands until your eyes met his. His gaze was warm, earnest, threaded with tired devotion.

“Then I’ll do better,” he said. “I’ll make time. I promise. You matter too much to me not to.”

A smile tugged at the corners of your mouth, small but sincere. “Thank you, Hiromi.”

He leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.

“Anything for you,” he whispered. “You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

He pulled you into his arms again, holding you tight, as if he could shield you both from the demands of the outside world. His face nestled into the crook of your neck, and he breathed you in like something grounding, something necessary.

“You smell amazing…” he murmured, his voice muffled against your skin.

You laughed, a light, airy sound that seemed to ease something heavy in the air. “Thanks. I picked up a new body wash today. Glad it’s working.”

He hummed his approval, his arms tightening around you with playful possessiveness.

“I bet you look incredible using it in the shower,” he teased, his tone warm, just a shade lower, more intimate now.

Before you could answer, he leaned in and placed a tender kiss on your collarbone—just a brush of lips, reverent and a little mischievous.

Your breath caught a little at the kiss, not just from the warmth of his lips against your skin, but from the way he lingered there—soft, deliberate. His hands never strayed far, just holding you like you were something fragile he hadn’t realized he’d been missing all day.

You pulled back slightly, just enough to look at him, to search his face. The tired lines around his eyes, the shadow of stress across his brow—they were still there. But beneath them, there was something else. Hunger, yes, but not just physical. A longing for closeness, for softness, for you.

“You really did miss me, huh?” you asked, your voice low, teasing, but not unkind.

Hiromi let out a breath of a laugh, one hand slipping to your waist. “More than I should admit,” he murmured. “And right now, I can’t stop thinking about how beautiful you look in the quiet.”

You leaned in, resting your hands on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart under your palms. “Then show me,” you whispered. “Be here with me. Just for a little while. No clocks, no cases. Just us.”

That was all it took.

He bent down and captured your lips in a kiss that was equal parts apology and devotion. It wasn’t rushed, wasn’t ravenous—just deep, lingering, filled with everything he hadn’t said in words. His hand slid up your back, drawing you closer, and the tension in his body slowly began to melt into the moment.

Your fingers found the edge of his collar, tugging slightly, grounding yourself in him. You tilted your head, deepening the kiss as you felt his sigh against your lips. His touch became more assured then, his other hand tracing the curve of your waist, slipping beneath the fabric of your shirt just enough to feel the warmth of your skin.

When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against yours again, eyes half-lidded but burning with something fierce and gentle all at once.

“I want to make it up to you,” he said softly. “Every late night. Every missed dinner. I want you to feel how much I love you.”

You nodded, your voice caught somewhere between breath and heartbeat. “Then stay with me tonight. Not just beside me—but with me.”

His lips curved into a small smile, and he kissed you again—this time slower, deeper—before scooping you effortlessly into his arms.

“I’m not going anywhere,” he said. “Not tonight. Not ever.”

As he carried you toward the bedroom, the hallway bathed in soft golden light, everything else—the clock, the cases, the city outside—faded into nothing. What remained was him. You. And the quiet, unspoken promise between two hearts relearning how to beat as one.

The bedroom was dimly lit, moonlight pouring in through the half-drawn curtains, casting silver ribbons across the sheets. Hiromi’s footsteps were quiet against the floorboards, careful, reverent, as though the act of bringing you here was something sacred.

He set you down at the edge of the bed, his hands lingering at your waist even after you touched the mattress. For a moment, he just looked at you—really looked—like he was trying to memorize you in this light, this quiet, this moment that belonged only to the two of you.

“I’ve missed this,” he murmured, his thumb brushing along the curve of your cheek. “You. Us.”

You reached for him again, your fingers slipping under the collar of his shirt as you guided him closer. “Then don’t miss it anymore,” you whispered. “Stay here. Be here.”

His lips found yours once more, deeper this time, slower. There was no urgency in the way he kissed you—only intention. Like he had all night to relearn the taste of your mouth, the shape of your sighs. His fingers skimmed the hem of your shirt, pausing to meet your eyes, asking silently if this was okay. You answered with a nod and a kiss, your hands already beginning to explore the planes of his chest beneath the soft fabric of his work shirt.

He undressed you like a man memorizing a poem—carefully, reverently, taking his time. Every inch of revealed skin was met with a warm touch or the ghost of his lips, until you felt more like an art piece being unveiled than a body being undressed.

His eyes wandered over your curves like a slow, sensual caress. Gentle fingers traced the lines of your collarbone, dipping into the hollows at the base of your throat. You shivered as his lips followed, pressing soft kisses to the pulse point while his hands mapped the contours of your bare waist. Each touch was a whispered promise, building anticipation to a gentle simmer.

His touch slowed as he hovered above you, his breath brushing warm against your skin. The tension of the day seemed to melt off his shoulders, replaced by a softer vulnerability as he gazed down at you—like you were something rare, something sacred.

“You’re beautiful,” he murmured, almost like it was a secret not meant for the world to hear. “I don’t say it enough, but I think it every time I see you. Every time I leave, I carry this image of you with me.”

Your fingers traced the side of his face, brushing along his jaw, feeling the subtle tremble in him that came not from exhaustion, but from restraint. You kissed the corner of his mouth, slow and reassuring. “Then let that image be real tonight.”

He nodded—once, deeply—before his lips returned to yours, more certain now. The kiss deepened, his body aligning with yours in slow, reverent movements. There was no rush, no need to prove anything. Just feeling. Just presence.

Hiromi’s hands explored with intention, not possessiveness—smoothing over your sides, skimming your thighs, pausing at each place where you shivered under his touch. Every soft sound you made, every breath you drew, seemed to anchor him, pull him back from the edge of his constant, consuming workload.

Softly his lips curved to tease the sensitive skin behind your ear as he murmured, "I want to taste you. Lay back and let me worship you with my mouth." His deep baritone sent shivers down your spine, a delicious contrast to his tender ministrations. He lay back, dark eyes smoldering with desire as he guided your thighs to either side of his face. "Ride my tongue, Y/N. Let me make you feel worshipped."

You nodded and with a deep breath, you slowly straddle his face, your flushed core hovering just inches above his eager mouth. The anticipation is palpable as you gaze down at him, chest heaving with desire, his intense stare drinking in my delicate folds, glistening with need.

You gazed tenderly into his eyes as you straddled his face, desire evident in both your expressions. Inch by inch, you lowered herself onto his eager mouth, savoring the anticipation. As his tongue traced your delicate curves, you let out a gentle moan, fingers tangling in his hair. "Mmm, just like that," you breathed, hips swaying rhythmically.

You followed his lead, hands gently caressing his hair and guiding him up into you. As his warm breath kissed your most intimate flesh, you shuddered, gasping in anticipation. He sucked your sensitive bud, building you to a pleasurable crescendo. Little moans escaped your lips as the delicious pressure slowly mounted. Your hips bucked involuntarily against his mouth, seeking release from the throbbing need he so skillfully stoked.

"Be patient, baby.” he whispered softly, slowly gliding his hands up your thighs. He nudged you closer, hands enveloping your hips as he pulled you down harder, strong fingers kneaded into the soft flesh of your rear, kneading and massaging in a slow, sensual rhythm.

“So close...” You moaned, fingers intertwined in his hair as you ground against his face, body yearning for the sweet relief of climax. Consciousness faded as you gave herself over to the rhythmic caress of his lips and tongue.

Pleasure consumed you as his skilled ministrations brought you to the brink. Your body trembled then shuddered, screaming his name as ecstasy crashed over you in pulsing waves. He laved your sensitive flesh gently as you rode out the aftershocks. Slowly, you lifted yourself off of his face as he kissed his way up your sweat-soaked skin, murmuring praise. "You look so beautiful when you come baby."

Your mouths met in a searing kiss, tongues tangling passionately as he stroked your curves reverently. His strong hands caressed your body, sending jolts of electricity through you. Sliding a hand between your thighs, he cupped your aching sex, and you quivered in anticipation. Gently teasing your folds, he circled your clit before delving a finger into your soaked depths. You gasped into his mouth, hips rocking against his hand urgently. He pumped his finger, then added another, stretching and filling you deliciously as he stroked your g-spot, rapidly building the tension again.

His long, deep strokes sent shockwaves through your core. Kisses trailed down your neck as he savored your little moans. "You're going to cum for me again, aren't you baby?" he murmured. "I can feel you getting tighter, you're so close." He curled his fingers just right, relentless until ecstasy claimed you.

"Shit," you gasped as wave after wave of ecstasy crashed through you.

He captured your lips in a deep passionate kiss as he rode you through it, fingers working your most sensitive spots. "I love feeling you fall apart for me," he breathed against your throat, reverently drinking in your pleasure-drunk face.

He strips the rest of his clothes off, lying back, strong hands drawing you atop him. Drinking in your blissful expression, fervent gaze sweeping reverently over curves as he lavishes adoration on your flushed skin, murmurs sweet tributes, caresses with tender veneration. “You’re so beautiful, baby. So pretty for me.”

As you straddled his hips, your fingertips traced idle patterns along his rippling abdomen. Leaning down, she captured his lips in a deep, searing kiss before trailing her mouth along his strong jaw. “I could kiss you forever." Slowly, you placed tender kisses and nibbles along his jaw, reveling in his masculine scent heightened by arousal as desire coiled tighter in your belly.

"You're so sexy," you breathed against his skin, delighting in the scent of him mingled with arousal. "I want you so badly."

He groaned, hands gripping your hips, as he slowly thrust upward, filling you completely. "Ride me-" His words cut off with a gasp as you slid down his thick length, stretching you exquisitely. “Fuck, you feel incredible."

Slowly, steadily, you began to grind on top of him. You whimpered at this feeling, tossing your head back in bliss, his hands slipping to your ass, guiding your movements.

"Oh God, just like that," he growled, pushing up, meeting your downward thrusts. A needy moan escaped your throats as he filled you over and over, hitting that perfect spot that made you see stars.

"More, I need more," you demanded breathlessly, fingernails digging into his chest. Flexing his hips, he drove himself higher, deeper, keeping his slow thrusts, your walls clenching around him.

You rode him faster, losing yourself in pleasure, in him. "I'm going to come- oh God, don't stop!" Him holding you steady, pushing up into your willing heat, wrecked you with ecstasy as your world shattered

His tender eyes locked with yours as he brushed strands of dampened hair from your face. Leaning up, his lips hovered tantalizingly near yours, warm breath mingling in the silence between your racing hearts. He lifted himself up slightly, caressing your cheek with his thumb, the movement causing his hips to press deeper, igniting a thousand points of pleasure within you.

Your breaths quickened as he moved within you, each stroke igniting sparks that spread through your body. Wrapping your legs around his waist, you whispered "I'm close," your voice trembling with need. His pace quickened, deepening each kiss. Suddenly, ripples of ecstasy cascaded over you both. He gazed into your eyes, breath ragged. "You're incredible," he murmured. "Absolutely perfect. You’re so good for me, baby.”

You leaned in, your lips meeting his in a deep, sensual kiss. Pulling back, you gazed into his eyes with adoration. “I missed you so much.”

“I missed you too, darling.”
