COLD OPEN
EXT. FEDERAL PLAZA – DAY
Chaos erupts. Zoom and his speed-wraiths strike at the FBI headquarters, throwing cars, blasting windows, causing mass panic.
Neal (Barry) runs civilians to safety at blinding speed—forgetting he not a hero right now with a costume.
Hal and Kyle Rayner arrive mid-fight, green constructs clashing against Zoom’s lightning storm.
PETER, JONES, DIANA, AND ELIZABETH stumble out of the wreckage. Peter sees it: Neal moving with super-speed.
Peter’s jaw drops.
PETER (hoarse):Neal… what are you?How are you? You know what I probably don’t want to knowing you.
Barry hesitates—then pulls off his tie, blazer, and shirt. Beneath: the red Flash emblem glowing faintly against his skin.
BARRY (quiet, to everyone):I’m Barry Allen. The Flash. I thought I told you this. I told the whole office were you.
PETER: You know what I should stop asking less I know the better.
ACT ONE
INT. FBI OFFICE – RANSACKED – LATER
The entire team (League + FBI + Mozzie) is gathered. The air is heavy.
BARRY (standing center):I didn’t want this life to bleed into yours. Neal was… safe. Neal was a lie I could control.My happy place after every thing that has happened I know Neal is crazy but I was happy and sad. I was living a lie in a way if I am being honest.
HAL (softly, steadying him):Bartholomew Sebastian Henry Alexander Smythe Allen—
BARRY (groaning, cutting him off):Hal. Please. Not now. It not the time
MOZZIE (scribbling in notebook):This explains… everything. Finally. And nothing.
PETER:You lied to all of us. Every day. Why?
BARRY (breaking):I just wanted… normal. I wanted to believe I could have a life outside the lightning. But I can’t. I never could. This is how I am going to die even if I like it or not. I got no choice no power in this.
Silence.
ACT TWO
EXT. ROOFTOP – NIGHT
WALLY and DICK sit on the ledge, legs dangling. Wally’s head rests on Dick’s shoulder.
DICK (teasing):You’re clingier than usual. Why?
WALLY (smiling faintly):We both know you love it.
They share a soft kiss, lingering.
WALLY (serious now):I don’t know if I’m ready for this. Barry’s back. Alive. The League’s watching every move. The Titans look at me like I’m still the kid side kick.
DICK:You’re not a sidekick. You’re the Flash. And you’re mine. No one else’s got that.
They kiss again, longer this time.
ACT THREE
INT. HAL’S APARTMENT – NIGHT
Barry sits on the couch, staring at his suit folded neatly. Hal brings him tea.
BARRY:Why can’t I just… have normal? Why can’t I be Neal, wear a tie, flirt with art thieves and argue with Peter about coffee? I don’t get it why I can’t have that is that really that hard.
HAL (gently):Because you were born to run, Bar. And the world needs the Flash more than Neal Caffrey. I need you more than Neal Caffrey this is are simple. Life like is fun sometimes and worth it you should know better than anyone. That when world needs you do something.
Barry swallows hard, fighting tears
BARRY (softly):What if the world’s wrong?
Hal takes his hand.
HAL:Then we make it right. Together. Like we always used to do ok me you in this world together ok remember that got it.
BARRY(laughs): Ok me and you thank you.Love you your the best.
HAL: Love you too more than anything ok.
ACT FOUR
INT. JUSTICE LEAGUE SAFEHOUSE – WAR ROOM
Wally paces, venting to Kyle Rayner.
WALLY:Everyone looks at him like a ghost. Like I’ve been keeping his shoes warm. But I’ve been carrying the mantle. Carrying the weight of the Flash all this time.
KYLE:Wally… you don’t need to be Barry. You need to be Wally. That’s enough you should know that.
WALLY (bitterly):You make it sound easy. None of this is easy.
KYLE (grinning): I know I’m a Green Lantern. Nothing’s easy. But… you’ve got people who believe in you. Including me.
Wally nods, grateful.
ACT FIVE
EXT. FEDERAL PLAZA – NIGHT
The League, FBI, and Barry regroup. Plans are drawn for the final fight against Zoom.
Barry zips his suit fully on for the first time since stepping into Neal’s persona.
BARRY (to Peter, with a sad smile):Neal’s gone in away. But I’m still me.
PETER (after a long pause):Then let’s make sure you come back alive this time.
Barry nods—hope flickers.
ZOOM’S VOICE (echoing across the plaza):No one escapes the past, Barry.
Red and blue lightning split the sky. Zoom is ready. So is Barry.
TAG SCENE
INT. TITANS SAFEHOUSE – NIGHT
Wally curls against Dick, exhausted. Dick strokes his hair.
DICK:We’ll figure it out. Together.
Wally smiles faintly, drifting off to sleep.
CUT TO: BARRY, standing alone on a rooftop, watching the storm roll in. Wondering what the hell happened if all fake or all in his head or if he’s gone crazy. One things for sure this is happening.
BARRY (to himself):And time to running out I need to stop this.
FADE OUT.
