The streets of Tokyo were bustling, the noise of the city coating the street in a dull drone . The sight of towering buildings with pops of color left Luca awestruck, he struggled to tear his eyes away just to see where he was going.
He forced himself to look down at his map, he was supposed to be headed towards a coffee shop so he could try a matcha drink, of course, he wouldn't be getting to try anything if he got lost along the way.
Luca sped up his pace, he wanted to get there quickly, there was a shrine in kyoto he was also supposed to see today. According to the map, it should be just around the corner—
Luca ran into what felt like a wall, falling over onto his back and hissing with pain when he felt his arm scrape against the concrete sidewalk.
He took a second to get his bearings before pushing himself up so he was sitting. He lost his map sometime after he fell. Glancing around, he couldn't see it, it must've blown away in the wind.
What a pain, he needed that to find his way around, he wasn't sure if he could even make his way back to his hotel without it.
“Hey, you ok?”
Luca looked up, there was a man, the sunlight highlighting his snow-white hair and making it look like a halo around his head. Brilliant blue eyes peeked down at Luca from being black circle glasses. Lucas mind went blank, he felt his face heat up from the intensity of the man's gaze.
“Hello?”
Luca snapped back to focus as he spoke again, thinking about it now, he was probably the one that Luca bumped into.
He pushed himself onto his feet, brushing off any dirt or dust he got onto his clothes when he fell. He took a second to collect himself, double checking his arm where he noticed a scrape of his forearm, nothing urgent, thankfully.
Luca cleared his throat, locking eyes with the white-haired man. “I’m sorry for bumping into you, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going.”
The man smiled, waving his hand dismissively. “Nah, it's fine. My name's Gojo, sorry about your map by the way.”
“It's not your fault, it probably blew away when I dropped it.”
Gojo did not respond, Luca followed his gaze, which was focused on the scrape Luca got when he fell. “Oh, that,” Luca addressed, “It's from the concrete, doesn't even hurt.”
Gojo pursed his lips, eyes still on the scrape. He let out a small sigh, eyes moving back to meet Lucas. “How about I buy you some coffee to pay you back?”
Luca was hesitant to accept, on one hand, this was a stranger he just happened to bump into. On the other hand, he wasn't at all bad looking, and Luca would be a fool to deny a free drink.
“Are you sure? You really don't need to.”
“Yeah, it's fine. Besides, it would be my pleasure to buy a cute guy coffee.” A smirk grew on Gojos face, he offered Luca a hand to hold.
Luca felt his face flush, he muttered a quiet “Okay” and took Gojos hand.
“Ah, by the way,” Gojo started to lead Luca to the coffee shop where he was originally going. “You never told me your name?”
“Oh,” Luca flushed slightly at the realization. Gojo had basically asked him out without even knowing his name.
“Im Luca, Luca Balsa.”
“Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Luca Balsa.”
