Kaveh woke up with a brilliant idea, so brilliant, it had to be executed immediately. Around noon, Kaveh called for a meeting over at his (Alhaitham’s) house, everyone was currently gathered in the living room.
“Ok, I had an amazing idea this morning! The four of us…should go on a road trip!”
He was met with silence.
Alhaitham was the first to speak; “Ok, no.”
“Yeah, I’m with ‘Haitham.” agreed Cyno.
Kaveh frowned. “Come on, guys! We never do anything together!”
“TCG.” Alhaitham and Cyno said in unison.
“Besides that! I mean going out of the house!”
“Going to the tavern?”
“Visiting Tighnari?”
Kaveh groans, giving up. “Oh, forget it.”
“Now wait a minute!” Tighnari chimed in. “Come on, this could be fun! We’ll get a break from our busy lives, get to spend time together, share a hotel room…” He punctuated that last part with a nudge to Cyno.
“Ok, maybe it could be fun.” That was all it took for Cyno to agree, Alhaitham couldn’t believe he folded so fast.
“See! Tighnari gets it! Come on ‘Haitham! Pleaseee?” He looked at him, hopeful. Alhaitham was silent for a bit.
“I’ll think about it.”
That was his way of saying yes, and it was good enough for Kaveh.
“Yes! Ok, I already have an idea of where we should go, what hotels we’ll stay at-” He began rambling, somehow already having this planned despite just having the idea today. Tighnari couldn’t help but smile at how passionate he was about this.
About a week later, Kaveh, Tighnari, Cyno, and Alhaitham were all packing their stuff into Tighnari’s car (chosen since it was the biggest). Kaveh was writing something down in a cute little notebook, looking quite pleased with himself.
“What’s that?” Tighnari asked.
“Oh! It’s my planner!” he seemed enthusiastic. “I’ve got all our stops and breaks planned out. Ooh, I also made sure to rotate drivers! That way, we won’t get too upset with each other!” He smiled.
Tighnari’s heart nearly skipped a beat. He chuckled, making Kaveh bend down by grabbing him by the collar. “Come here, you.” He kissed him sweetly, causing Kaveh’s head to spin slightly.
“O-oh wow…what was that for?”
“Just thought you were being cute.”
“If you two are done making out, me and Cyno are ready to go.” they were greeted by Alhaitham standing behind them, already looking fed up.
“Oh, ok, you big baby.” Tighnari gave Alhaitham a kiss on the cheek before getting in the driver's seat, Alhaitham felt himself blushing slightly. Kaveh was quick to tease him.
“Alright guys, let’s get going!”
“Oh, this is going to be so fun!” Kaveh exclaimed.
Alhaitham could already see the disasters ahead of them, but he kept quiet, for Kaveh’s sake.
