Summary
As the hockey season heats up and Alec struggles with the pressures of being a rookie, the spotlight and expectations from all sides, Magnus becomes the unexpected calm in the storm.
But when their budding relationship risks going public, Alec must decide if he's ready to come off the bench and into the light—for his team, for himself, and for the man who might just be his home.
Magnus has seen his share of bruised egos and cocky athletes, but Alec is…different. Quiet, intense, and awkwardly sweet, Alec keeps showing up with excuses to visit the clinic—and not all of them involve animals.
A romance story with hockey banter, adorable strays, and one very judgmental cat (or two). -
