Chance layed on his bed letting out a deep sigh as he wait for elliot to arrive. It's been a long while since they talked to someone about his true feelings. Especially since the last time he did, it was with itrapped. It hurts. But at the same time, they felt relieved. Everytime he would talk about his own trauma to someone, it felt unsafe, it felt like that person would talk about it to others and end up mocking his trauma. He might even had a small feeling that itrapped would do the same.
But with Elliot? Oh my, he must be a gift. After talking about it, Chance didn't have a single hint on any sort of Betrayal happening anytime soon. Although Elliot never said much, he listened. It seemed like that's all it mattered. It was very comforting to them. Must this be dear lady Luck's doing? It must be, right? Because for such a person like him feels so impossible to find. Especially for chance. Although it may seem like they would always tease and flirt with him in many ways. They always meant it at some point. They liked him, loved him. But never really got much of a reaction nor answer from Elliot. It was worrying to him.
A knock on the door was heard throughout the room. Causing chance to slowly stand up from his bed before heading to open the door, expecting the blond boy to be there. They slowly opened the door just to flinch at the sudden act of arms wrapped around them, a hug. "Elli..?" He muttered under his breath, slowly wrapping his arms onto the other man's waist. "I'm.. sorry. You had to go through that." Elliot whispered as he clung on tighter. "You've... probably have been through alot." He continued the whisper but just a little more quieter. "Don't be sorry. It's not your fault, it never has been." Chance said before hearing a sentence from Elliot almost immediately after they were done speaking, almost cutting them off. "No. It should be the other way around." He pulled away from the hug. But the two still held each other with elliots hands on the others shoulder and their hands still layed on the sides of his waist. "Chance.. it's not your fault. It never has been, It never will be. You need to understand that."

There was never a thought that it wasn't your fault. Remember that." The pizza boy responded confidently. But just at that moment. A toss of a coin, spinning continously; waiting for either heads, a sign of luck and a long-hoping answer to be expected. Or tails, that long-hoping answer to be shattered which could change so much. A simple 50/50, what shall the answer be?

Those words spun around my head for a long while. I could never tell whether or not they were teasing, or joking around. Or maybe.. they were simply... talking about their feelings. I remembered that day, when someone told me something similar. But it ended up as a humor which would give me anxiety everytime I got close to them, people would joke around like nothing. Is it the same this this time? No, it can't, can it? I mean, I've known chance for a while. And I know he can act silly at times but.. there's no way he could joke about something like this. Especially at this time.

They both stood still for around a minute. One thinking of their response, while the other waited paitently yet at the same time was filled with worry.

"Elli." Chance slowly moved their hands which were on the others hips to both of his cheeks, cupping his face. "I... support whatever you say. Don't be scared of anything."

The coin dropped as it spun, and spun for a a good long while.
It was shown as heads, the side with good luck and fortune.
Did he win the jackpot? The best prize he truly wanted for so long? Did he really win it?
"You..do?" A small glimpse of shine in the gambler's golden eyes through the glasses were spotted by elliot. He truly liked him. "Yeah. I.. do." He repeated, with a more confident tone "Y-you really do?!" His voice became a little louder, shining brighter. Chance was at a misbelief from Elliot. It felt as like.. his world, future which has been crumbled for so long, got fixed slowly peice by piece. Elliot chuckled at the glowing gambler
"I really do. Do.. you really like me that way? Me?"
"Elliot, if anything who wouldn't like you? You're always there to help others, care of them. And you're even very forgiving! You're.. like a sun that shines brighter everytime the next day passes."
"You didn't need to say all that, Chance."
"Although it's a bit corny, it's the truth." He said, lowering the volume of his voice, almost whispering. The pizza boy giggled softly at the others words with both of them having a tint of blush. There was not a hint of tricks coming out of the gamblers mouth. It might have calmed Elliot's thoughts a bit. "So, what does that make us?" "Whatever you think." They both bumped foreheads and stared into each other's gaze for a long while.
Until..
"What a wholesome moment, but I'd appreciate you to close the door before going any further with the relationship." A voice appeared behind the two, catching them both in surprise. It was two time standing near the door of chance's dorm. "Wha- Two Time when- how long were you here for?!" Elliot turned to the cultist, blushing in bright red meanwhile chance turned away, trying to cover himself with his black fedora. It was quite a rare sight to see from him.
"Ah, not to worry. I wasn't here for long. Apologies for interrupting your lovely moment."
"You could've just told us the second you arrived.."
"I would but I was quite curious on what your answer would be to chances confession!"
"Didn't you say that you didn't stay here for long!?"
"Yes dear Elliot, I have stayed here for a short while!"

Both Itrapped and Mafioso stood near the lake, next to each other. It was finally the time where itrapped would have to do the most embarrassing thing ever– confessing. Something he has never done before, not to mention the person he likes is possibly as dense as a worm. So it's a very difficult situation for him to be in.
In the distance from the two, Mafioso's goons seems to be hiding behind a large bush to figure out what was going to happen. Although, they.. weren't really experienced at hiding from their boss. "Hey! Consligiere move out of the way!" Contractee whispered out as Consligiere tried to get a better look at the scene by pushing him with his arm.
"I can't see properly here!" Consligiere whispered back as he continued to struggle to get a clear vision "Yeah, well don't push me like that if you can't see!" The other responded as they both continued to squabble.
Meanwhile Soldier and Caporegime were taking a closer look at the scene. "Can you both be quiet? I'm trying to hear what's going on." Caporegime turned towards his workmates whispering agressively while Soldier ignored the others.
He could see Itrapped and Mafioso have a conversation, but wasn't able to make out what they were talking about. But luckily he knew a thing or two about lip-reading. "Hey! You guyz!" The three who were bickering turned over to him, silencing themselves immediately.
"I think boss understood Mr Elsa's confession!" Soldier whispered out. Caporegime quickly gained back his 'professionalism' by fixing his tie and asked quietly "what did he reply with?" Both Consligiere and Contractee leaned closely to hear Soldier out as he looked back to make out more sentences by lip-reading.
"I'm not surez.. they're talking alot for a simple confession.."
"But it's not simple, they're both bad at stuff like this!" Consligiere deadpanned at the reply. "At least they're making some sort of progress, right?" Contractee tilted his head before taking a peek from behind the bush.
After a while, all four of them were peeking over, only with movements of the other two being their only information about the confession. After a while, they spotted Mafioso patting Itrapped on the back before taking his time to leave, walking away. "What was that? What the heck was that?!" Contractee whispered out from the actions.
"Did he reject it?" -Consligiere
"Boss cannot be that dense to just leave like that.. right?!" -Contractee

Itrapped and Mafioso both stared at their own reflection from the lake. "Why'd you call me here again?" Mafioso broke the scilence as he looked over to the other. "Nothing that important, don't worry too much about it." Itrapped responded without returning his gaze to the other.
"I just want to ask a simple question. If you have any follow ups, just ask."
"I don't think I'll have a reason to, but sure. Go ahead." Mafioso kept his same usual tone of voice. Itrapped never really knew but, he sort of liked his voice. It would always sound harsh when other people would hear it, it made them scared of him due to it. But for itrapped, he admired it, or that's what he thinks that is.
"Does your question require why my goons are spying on us?" "Wha-" itrapped turned his head behind to see a few hats and a bald head peeking out of a bush nearby. "Ignore those idiots." He said immediately and turned his head back with a slight blush of embarrassment.
"It's fine, they do that sometimes. Once they tried to follow me because my old man tasked me to take care my cousin."
"How did that work out with you?"
"They almost burned down the mansion."
"Aren't they adults? Why can't they take care of themselves?"
"Let them act however they want, it doesn't matter to me much."
Itrapped stared at him with confusion. For a bunch of idiots, someone like mafioso wanted to keep them as his assistants. He must've been really close to them. "What was your question?" He looked over to itrapped, making eye contact with one another. Itrapped couldn't see his eyes properly due to the fedora he always wore, but he saw a tint of dark pupils staring towards his.
"Do you know what love is?"
He asked.
"Not exactly, why do you ask of that?" Mafioso never left his stare at the other.
"Have you ever been in love?"
"No, I'm not sure if I'd have to be honest. Have you?"
"It.. was complicated for me. But I have, once." Itrapped finally looked away from the others eyes and stared back at the lake.
But mafioso didn't look away from staring at him.
"How was it like?"
"Well, if you ever liked someone, your heart beats uncontrollably fast. It's mostly a sign."

Mafioso chuckled out, itrapped directed his eyes towards him. A small soft smile appeared on both of their faces. Itrapped liked this moment, both of them relaxed, talking nicely. He wished that.. maybe, maybe he could just...

"Has your heart ever done something like that when you're near people?" Itrapped turned over, putting both his hands in his pockets. "Never really paid attention to it, has yours?"
"Yeah, around you."
He said it, well.. not in a direct way, but he still said something. That counts, right?
"Really?" Mafioso looked at him, with an expression that was difficult to read. "I guess, but since you've never really experienced something like this. I doubt you would like me back."

Mafioso couldn't answer, at least not right away. He didn't know what to answer with. Yes, he has been near people who would make physical contact with him and he wouldn't care much about it. But for some reason..
"I guess my heart does go by a quicker pace when I'm around you sometimes."
Itrapped's eyes widened a bit, does that guy seriously understand this whole situation? Chance said he was too dense, there's no way for him to say something like that.
"Though, for a simple question, you have asked many. I guess it makes sense since I have asked follow up questions." Mafioso added and chuckled out quietly, tilting his fedora down. Then he looked up at the sky, which has been dark since the beginning.
"So? What does that mean?" Itrapped ignored the mafia's comment, he was slightly desperate for an answer.
"I'm not entirely sure, I might like you back but.. I don't really know."
"So are you rejecting me or..?"
"Not exactly, but.. I don't think I would regret it if we did end up together." Mafioso patted on Itrapped's back. "I would like to get to know you better, Itrapped. I just think I might need some time for a proper answer." He slid his hand on the other's back hair and ruffled it a bit before walking away.
