A faint smile tugged on his lips, blood streaming down the corner of his mouth, “It’s okay,” Azure whispered, voice fragile, “I just… wish it didn’t hurt as much, knowing that it was you..”
Two Time sobbed, shaking their head, leaning closer, desperate to hold onto him. Azure’s fingers curled weakly onto their fingers, holding on with what little strength he had left. And then, in the breath that barely carried beyond the field of flowers.
”I love you… my nightshade. Take care of yourself, alright?”
His hand slipped away, limp and cold, leaving the world unbearably quiet. The night itself seemed to hold its breath. Two Time lowered their head, fingers trembling as they clasped together, pressing their palms tight. Kneeling in the stillness, they began to pray.

From the moment they arrived here, he was leading them through the loops, teaching them what to do and the best tactics. When everyone was at each other's throats, 1337 never picked a side, simply helping everyone even if they refused his assistance.
"I believe I would have been fine, Soldier," they replied, shrugging his hand off their shoulder, tail twitching on the floor.
They heard him sigh, and suddenly felt another body settle down next to them, the warmth it emitted being rather tempting.
Or, Two Time is freezing during the winter and Guest 1337 comes with fatherly instincts and a dream :)

It was silent. Too silent. He felt threatened.
Someone placed their hand on his head and he flinched.

“Ah, hello.” An unfamiliar voice spoke to him, as far as he was aware, there wasn’t a new season— so there wouldn’t be any need to have new contestants.
“Hi?” He answered back, squinting his eyes to get a look at the object who was very much taller than him.
It was too dark in this forest to know exactly who this object was.
“Who.. are you?” The object seemed to be picking up some sort of blade.
“Two Time.” Two Time? That’s an odd name.. doesn’t seem like an object's name at all.
