Chapter Text
Woojin was fucked. Absolutely royally fucked. He had fallen head first for Kim Gunwoo and there was no escaping it.
He had first realized that he had fallen head over heels in love with the boy that had managed to flip his whole world upside down with a simple meal and that stupid cute smile that is like a poison that Woojin will willingly drink every time. That smile of his that was so bright that it could rival the sun and the brightest star in the universe and every time Woojin looked at it he felt like he was being melted from the inside out.
He and Gunwoo were out for dinner, courtesy of Hyeonju and Mr Choi who were busy with some formal business things that really didn't interest Woojin so Mr Choi sent them off with a handsome sum of money that was clearly more than enough for the type of dinner that Gunwoo and Woojin typically enjoyed. Despite Woojin's protest they found themselves in their usual buffet since Gunwoo ‘didn't want to seem greedy’ for using all of Mr Choi's money so they settled for their usual and would return the rest of the money to Mr Choi after their meal.
“Hyung.” He heard Gunwoo call, “Are you listening?” He asked. Clearly Woojin hadn't realised that at some point during their conversation he had zoned out to stare at Gunwoo's breathtaking beauty.
“Sorry,” he said, trying desperately to think of an acceptable excuse, “I just got entranced by the smell of the meat.” He said. Gunwoo seemed to believe his excuse and continued speaking about whatever he was talking about before.
About halfway through their meal Gunwoo's phone started ringing, Woojin quickly looked at the name and saw ‘Hyeonju-ah’. Gunwoo answered and put the phone on speaker so Woojin could listen as well. “Hyeonju? Is everything alright?” Gunwoo asked.
“We've got the location of Yang Jaemyeong's crew. I'm picking the two of you up.” He heard Hyeonju sigh from the other end of the line. “We're finding out how many IDs he's stolen tonight. I'll be at your location in 5 minutes. Be ready.” Hyeonju said with her usual frankness and cut the call.
Gunwoo and Woojin shoveled the rest of their food into their mouths and got ready and waited outside the restaurant for a minute before Hyeonju arrived. They quickly got in and Hyeonju drove them to yet another subway station where Jaemyeong was preying on helpless homeless people.
Gunwoo and Woojin got out and slowly made their way down the stairway to where Jaemyeong and his crew were.
Unfortunately for them Jaemyeong knew they were coming as at least a dozen men in black with pipes coming after them down the stairs. Woojin and Gunwoo quickly made their way towards where Jaemyeong was, in hopes that they could run up the stairs to the opposite side of the street but clearly Jaemyeong and Smile capital had thought this through and blocked them on all sides.
Wooyoung saw the first guy come at Gunwoo and he saw red. Immediately as the guys came towards him he swung at the guy without hesitating. These links hurt, well to be fair ‘tried’ to hurt, Gunwoo who was currently fighting off five guys at once.
They finished up the guys after around twenty minutes, with help from Hyeonju who tazed the fuck out of some punks who were just about his ass.
They all gathered back in the car, Gunwoo and Woojin both sat at the back with Hyeonju still brooding slightly in the front for letting one of the guys knock her down and she was whispering to herself, something about ‘letting them do that next time’ and ‘being better at this’ but Woojin wasn't focused on that.
Woojin was more focused on the insanely hot man sitting next to him. While he obviously hated seeing Gunwoo get hurt and seeing him have to fight for his life was one of Woojin's least favorite things ever, he had to admit that seeing Gunwoo with a busted lip and eyebrow was one of the most attractive things Woojin had ever seen. He also loved seeing Gunwoo fight, he loved seeing him in his element and seeing Gunwoo single handedly take down a group of thugs was one of the most attractive things that Gunwoo could do, obviously Woojin was so infatuated with Gunwoo that seeing Gunwoo breath was attractive.
The drive to Mr Choi's manor, where Hyeonju insisted they stayed for the night, felt extremely short, maybe it was because time seemed to pass fast whenever Woojin stared at Gunwoo, he isn't really sure how time works anymore or doesn't know how he pissed the universe off that it doesn't let him stare at Gunwoo any longer. When they went into the manor they went up the stairs to the rooms they usually stayed in. While walking up the stairs Woojin noticed that Gunwoo was clutching his side and limping slightly, “Yah.” He called out to get Gunwoo's attention, “What's wrong?” He asked.
“Nothing hyung, I'm fine.” Gunwoo said, Woojin could clearly tell that Gunwoo was lying through his teeth and took Gunwoo's hand and led him to his room.
“Sit.” He said and lightly pushed Gunwoo towards his bed. He went to the bathroom connected to search for the medkit he had seen the first time he went in the bathroom.
He could hear Gunwoo protest from the room, “Hyung it's okay, I think one of the guys with the bats just hit me slightly, it's not that big of a deal. It will heal in like 2 days.” He said. Woojin wasn't accepting any excuses and continued on the quest to find the medkit.
After he retrieved the medkit, which was in the cabinet under the sink, he came back Gunwoo, despite all his protests, still sitting in the same place he had left him. Woojin sat next to Gunwoo and slowly lifted up Gunwoo's shirt on the side so he could assess the injury. As he pulled up the shirt more and more purple bruises were noticeable. When he finally got to the place Gunwoo was holding on to, it was a red and purple mess that was inflamed. Both Woojin and Gunwoo hissed in the moment, Gunwoo due to the actual pain in his side and Woojin because of the mere look at that injury.
Woojin instructed Gunwoo to hold up the shirt so that he could put the numbing cream and ointment from the medkit on the wound. Gunwoo complied but halfway through applying the ointment Woojin stopped when he noticed that the bruise continued further up. “Yah. Take your shirt off.”
Gunwoo laughed, “Hyung.” He drew out, giggling like a middle school girl.
Not that Woojin didn't want to see Gunwoo shirtless again, he was just more concerned about his friend's safety at the moment, “Not like that you brat. The bruise is higher up and I can't see where it goes with your shirt blocking it.”
Gunwoo laughed again and then complied, pulling off his shirt in one smooth motion. Woojin felt like gasping at the glorious sight in front of him but quickly stopped himself.
The first time he'd seen Gunwoo without a shirt was nothing like this, they were in the ring and Woojin's only thought process at that moment was to win but this time he could fully view every crevice of Gunwoo's sculpted body. From his six pack to his built pecs Woojin was completely breathless at the sight of Kim Gunwoo.
He quickly snapped himself out of the trance he was in and continued with his task of treating Gunwoo's wound. He finished applying the ointment and numbing agent in around 5 minutes and bid Gunwoo a farewell when the younger retreated back to his room. As soon as he closed the door he made his way back to the bathroom to wash his flushed face with cold water to reduce the blush on his cheeks.
He went to bed that night and couldn't stop thinking about the boy that was sitting on his bed a few minutes ago with the most beautiful body he had ever seen.
