Chikn Nuggit was walking when he heard the sound of Iscream and Fwench Fry kissing each other on the mouth.
He didn't understand why they liked to kiss each other on the mouth so much.
Kisses on the forehead? They tickle and they show that the person cares about you.
Kisses on a scrapped knee? It helps you feel better even if it's a "placebo effect".
But kisses on the mouth? The "Why?" is something he can't figure out.
He couldn't ask Iscream and Fwench Fry, it'd be too embarrassing for him to ask them.
He'd have to ask someone else.
His eyes sparkled as he realized who he could talk to.
Onyn Ring was sitting on a rock, jotting down something in his journal, when he saw Chikn Nuggit walking towards him.
Chikn Nuggit sat down beside the rock and asked "Do you know why people like to kiss each other on the mouth?"
Onyn thought about it and replied "From what I've heard, it causes a feeling that people find hard to describe when asked."
Chikn said "Oh."
There was a brief pause in the conversation before Chikn asked "Do you wanna kiss so we can figure out this feeling together?"
Onyn's face glowed bright red as he fell backwards off of the rock and onto the grass.
Onyn stood up and said "I must have misheard you, I thought you asked me if I wanted to kiss."
Chikn said "You didn't mishear me. That's what I asked."
Onyn tried to say something, explain why exactly that question caused the reaction it did, but only small noises escaped his mouth.
Onyn mentally tallied the pros and cons of going through with kissing Chikn and decided that kissing had less cons than not kissing.
Onyn said "If you believe that's the best course of action, I guess I'll do it."
Something about Onyn agreeing to kiss him made Chikn's heart skip a beat and Chikn didn't know why.
Onyn walked closer to Chikn and placed a single wing on Chikn's cheek.
Onyn asked "Do you still wanna kiss?"
Chikn's cheeks were dusted pink as he looked at Onyn.
Chikn nodded, words failing to reach his mouth at the moment.
Onyn slowly closed his eyes as he leaned in for the kiss.
Chikn closed his eyes moments before their mouths touched.
As soon as the kiss happened, fireworks seemed to shoot up all around them as the two began to float in the air.
It was as hard to describe as they were told they would feel.
When the kiss ended they opened their eyes and looked at each other.
Their hearts seemed to beat in synch as they realized they wanted to kiss again and again.
Seems Chikn finally found his special someone after all.
