“Clearly you two have feelings for each other, why are you making it so difficult for yourselves? Just tell him how you feel and we can also get along with our lives. It’s been a long time coming.”
“Why should I confess? I’m not losing to him.” He crossed his arms.
“It’s not a competition.”

Summary
Zoro is Sanji’s favorite neighbour, but to him, Sanji might just be a little more. As they navigate their complex feelings, both men grapple with their fears: one is haunted by the past thinking he values for very little, while the other dreads an uncertain future where the person he sees isn't him. Sanji tries to conquer old teachings and crooked prejudice he's been fed, while Zoro finds he isn't quite as bad of a partner he thought he was. In this love story where timing is crucial, they find themselves caught in between missed opportunities and lines drawn in the sand until they find themselves in the present where both had been waiting all along.
Rating T from Ch.1 to Ch.10

Summary
It remained to be seen what any of this would become or how long it would last, but for now it was still here, in this kitchen, with strong coffee and good pancakes and Sanji across the table looking at him like he was worth the trouble.
