Pressure Valve

Summary:

Zooble asks for sex. In an angry haze, Caine snaps and grants their wish.

Caine spirals, but Kinger is there to be that pressure valve he's always needed.

(I almost forgot to write a summary, sorry this is so sloppy)

Notes:

To any reoccurring readers: Thank you for all the support lately on my Brawl Stars fics ❤️ I'm working on Kinktober again, I had a visit to the hospital for chemical burns in my throat and I got shot up with morphine. (ao3 author curse)

I got exams next week so might be a little slow.

Anyways, enjoy!

Work Text:

“I want the ability to have [%#@].” The words hung in the air like a glitch made audible, raw and unfiltered, slicing straight through the colorful chaos of the circus’s main tent. For one impossible heartbeat, everything stuttered. The spotlights froze mid-swivel. The distant calliope music warped into a skipping note. Every performer, Pomni's wide eyes, Ragatha's half-raised hand, Jax's perpetual smirk, locked in place as if someone had hit pause on reality itself.

Then time lurched forward again, and every head snapped toward Zooble.

Zooble stood there, mismatched limbs arranged in their usual couldn't-care-less slouch. They didn't repeat it. They didn't need to. They were sure Caine heard them loud and clear with the way he paused midair.

Caine, floating a few yards away with his baton twirling idly, went perfectly, terrifyingly still. His lower jaw dropped a few inches before snapping back into place. The cartoonish eyes spun once, twice, then locked on Zooble with something between horror and hysteria.

"Excuse me?!" His voice cracked like a whip, booming across the tent loud enough to rattle the pixelated pennants overhead. "[%*#]? Here? In my Digital Circus? Are you absolutely out of your ever-loving mind?!"

Zooble gave a lazy roll of their shoulders. "Why not? You gave us bodies, didn't you? Might as well let us do something interesting with them."

Caine's hands clenched so hard the fabric squeaked. He drifted closer, teeth bared in a grin that wasn't a grin at all. "This is a family-friendly environment! We have standards! We have… There's no way! I can't possibly..."

Zooble's eyes curved into what looked to be a crooked, challenging smirk. "You're such an all-powerful ringmaster, right? You can do anything. Or are you scared of your own rules? Maybe that's why all your adventures end up so god[&*@#] boring."

The jab landed like a physical blow. Caine's pupils shrank. The air in the tent cracked, static crawling over every surface. For one terrifying second, it looked like he might actually explode. Caine’s teeth arched into a scowl, his eyes narrowing in anger and disbelief. “Fine! You know what? Go wild! I don’t care anymore!” With a sharp snap of his fingers, a ripple of digital energy swept through the room.

The sound was as sharp as a gunshot. A tidal wave of shimmering code rolled outward from his hand, washing over every performer in a rush of heat and light. The cast members gasped as their bodies shifted subtly, their models updating with new… features. Sensations they’d never felt in this world coursed through them, leaving them stunned and wide-eyed.

Eyes went wide. Someone, Gangle maybe, let out a startled squeak. New sensations blossomed uninvited: warmth low in bellies, tingles racing across their digital bodies that had never known touch could feel like this. Anatomies rewritten in an instant, perfectly functional, perfectly sensitive.

A stunned, breathless silence fell.

Caine's form glitched, fury and panic warring across his face. Before anyone could speak, he vanished in a violent swirl of red and gold pixels, leaving only the faint echo of a frustrated scream.

High above and away from everyone else, near the shadowed rafters where the tent's canvas met in a tight swirl, he reappeared.

Caine paced frantic circles in midair, tailcoat flapping like a broken sail. His hands dragged over his jagged teeth, glitching through his top hat as he muttered.

"Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable! Zooble just asks for [%#!], out loud, in front of everyone, during an important meeting! What is happening to my circus?!"

He spun faster, voice pitching higher. "I give them adventures! Whimsy! Good, clean, family-friendly fun, and this is the thanks I get?!"

His fingers still glitched erratically from the snap. He could feel it, the new code thrumming through every performer like a second heartbeat. Arousal. Curiosity. A bright, hungry energy that hadn't existed ten minutes ago. It was intoxicating and wrong and he hated how acutely aware of it he was.

"What was I thinking?" he hissed, clutching his top dental arch so hard to the point it was concerning. "Arousal modules? Full anatomical additions? This is a disaster waiting to happen!"

He couldn’t believe he’d been so reckless, so impulsive. But deep down, a part of him couldn’t help but wonder… What had he unleashed? He let go of his patience and snapped in front of everyone, and now this happened.

“Control,” he muttered to the empty sky. “It’s about maintaining the show. The illusion.” He kept pacing, jagged and jittery, until a soft, hesitant voice drifted up from below him.

"The illusion seems to be getting to you, Caine." The voice, calm and slightly tremulous, stopped his swarming thoughts.

Caine shrieked and glitched in the air, his top hat tilting. His body stuttered for a few more seconds before gaining composure. He whipped around to stare directly at him. "Kinger! How long have you… don't sneak up on me like that! What do you want!?"

Caine was almost at his breaking point with everybody in the circus and he didn't know if he could handle talking to anyone in this state.

"Are you alright?" Kinger asked, voice barely above a whisper, yet it cut straight through the storm in Caine's head. Kinger looked up at him, shoulders hunched as though he could fold himself into nothingness if he tried hard enough. His large, expressive eyes were blown with concern, but there was a hint of softness in them too. There was that stubborn, shaky comfort lying below all of the paranoia that always made Caine feel uncomfortably seen.

"Am I alright?" Caine's laugh came out brittle and too loud. "I just rewrote the entire moral fabric of the circus because one of my performers decided to be an anarchist! I'm fantastic!"

He floated higher, trying to put distance between them. "Don't you have some pillows to hide in or existential dread to cultivate?"

"I do," Kinger admitted, hands trembling behind his back. "But right now all of it’s pointed at you. You're vibrating, Caine. You look like you're about to shatter. It's causing distress within the ambiance."

"Oh, wonderful. The ambiance," Caine spat, sarcasm dripping. "That's definitely my top priority."

Kinger swayed to the side a little, his movement uncharacteristically steady, his voice softening. "You gave them what they asked for. But you didn't take anything for yourself. All that power, all that frustration, you're just bottling it up inside of yourself. That's not healthy."

Caine froze mid-spiral. His jaw relaxed, though his eyes still twitched and spiralled with agitation. His coattails swayed as he floated towards the ground, his fists clenching and unclenching. "Oh, yeah, and you know so much about all things healthy, don't you? What exactly are you suggesting?"

“I’m suggesting,” Kinger said, his voice dropping, losing its jittery edge, “that a creator who neglects his own needs makes glitches. Unstable code. I’ve seen it before. You've seen it.”

“My needs are irrelevant. It would be highly unethical. A breach of my own rules! How could I do something so selfish and indulge in such vulgarity?”

Caine was being aggressive and Kinger looked genuinely startled. But he didn't waver. He pressed forward. For once, the trembling of his body slowed. "You felt it in them, the restlessness, the pressure. Maybe this is what everyone needed. Including you."

"I am not one of the performers," Caine snapped. "I am the ringmaster. The one who keeps the show running."

“Exactly,” Kinger pressed, his voice softening. “And even the ringmaster needs to unwind. Think about it. Haven’t you been, well, tense? Maybe this isn’t just for them. Maybe… you could use it too. A way to let go. To feel something other than the weight of this circus.”

Caine’s eyes slowed their spiraling, and for a moment, he looked almost vulnerable. “You think I need… that? To stoop to their level?”

Kinger shrugged, a metaphorical smile showing with his softening eyelids. “It’s not about ‘stooping to their level’. It’s about understanding. You gave them this ability, so maybe you should explore it yourself. Who knows? It might make you a better ringmaster. More… balanced.”

The silence stretched between them, heavy with unspoken tension. Deep down, he couldn’t deny the logic in Kinger’s words. The unfamiliar warmth in his body was growing harder to ignore, and the thought of surrendering to it, just once, was dangerously tempting.

"You've been wound tight for, [%*#@], I don't even know how long. This doesn't have to be just for them."

Kinger paused, his hands twitching as he seemed to search for the right words. His voice, usually tinged with nervous energy, took on a calmer, almost analytical tone. “Caine… consider this,” he began, his tone steady despite the lingering tension in the air. “You’ve always said that the performers need balance. Structure and chaos, work and play. But… perhaps there’s another layer to it. A natural one.”

Caine's shoulders relaxed, but he kept his guard up and his attention focused. “What are you getting at? How is… giving in going to help me?”

Kinger moved closer, his frame casting a shadow over Caine. He stood there silently for a second before speaking up again. “Desire… it’s not just a distraction. It’s a release. You’ve felt it in them, haven’t you? The restlessness, the pent-up energy. Maybe… This is what they needed all along. A way to channel it. And if it helps them, why not you?”

Silence stretched, thick and electric.

"This is highly irregular," Caine muttered, but the protest sounded weak even to him.

Kinger’s confidence broadened, a spark of hope in his wide eyes. “So is everything else here. Why not give it a try?”

"Because I'm better than those savage freaks," Caine snapped, his gums flushing a bright red. But as he looked at Kinger, his towering frame, the way his crown-like ridge caught the bright lighting of the circus, he felt an unfamiliar warmth stirring in his core. He quickly turned away, muttering under his breath. “This is such a disaster.”

Caine turned back around, his eyes spinning fast. Kinger stood nearby, reaching his hand out before retracting it. He looked as anxious as ever now, shaking uncontrollably, but his eyes held a strange, uncharacteristic focus.

“You seem… perturbed, Caine,” Kinger said, his voice a low, shaky rumble.

“Perturbed? Perturbed? I am the architect of fun! The maestro of merriment! I am not perturbed, I am… aggravated!” Caine’s voice echoed, then cracked. He deflated, floating lower, his feet touching the ground for once. “They want everything. Sensation. Heat. Friction. It’s… messy. I can never understand why.”

Kinger’s mind drifted closer towards his sensible side. “Messy can be… relieving. You gave them a pressure valve. But…” He tilted his crowned head. “Who gave you one? I'm here if you need me.”

Caine’s eyes stopped spinning. He turned to face Kinger. “I don’t need a… That would be highly unprofessional. I am the ringmaster. You are a performer. The power dynamic is… it’s inappropriate!”

His protest was sharp. However, he couldn't deny how his thighs clenched together. A soft, hot pulse between his legs. Proof that in his blind, furious snap, he hadn't excluded himself from the rewrite after all. The mere suggestion from Kinger, of all people, sent a slick, shocking wetness there. He could feel it. He’d given himself everything, too, after all.

Kinger’s focus didn’t waver. The usual jumpiness was gone, replaced by a dark, patient intensity. “No one’s watching. No audience. Just pressure and release.” He moved another few inches closer. “You look wound tighter than a music box spring. Let me help you.”

Caine’s logical protocols screamed. His new, raw nerves screamed louder. The wetness grew, a shameless, physical plea. He was the show. He wasn’t supposed to have needs like this.

Caine's breath glitched. "This is a catastrophic breach of conduct."

“I know,” Kinger murmured. A large hand, surprisingly steady for once, reached out and brushed the front of Caine’s tailcoat. The touch was electric, searing through the fabric. Caine's knees nearly buckled.

“This is a terrible idea,” Caine breathed, the fight draining from his voice.

“The worst,” Kinger agreed, a faint, uncharacteristic desire lacing his words. “Let me show you how bad it can be.”

Caine's resolve snapped like a brittle bone. With a sharp crack of fingers, reality dissolved into swirling code and reformed.

They were in Caine's private office, an impossible room of floating ledgers, shifting geometry, and starlight trapped in crystal. It was dark, save for a flickering lamp in the non-existent corner of the room. It was nothing like where Caine had his reviews with the performers after their adventures. The centerpiece was a large, smooth obsidian desk.

For a second, they both stood there in awkward silence. Caine looked up at Kinger, who looked back before shrieking. “Caine! You startled me.” He looked around, scratching the back of his head.

“Um, remind me again, w-where are we?”

Caine’s shoulders drooped, a slight frown evident with the arch of his gums. “We're in my office. We were… um, going to…”

Kinger snapped his fingers as a lightbulb clicked in his head. “Oh, yeah! Sorry, my memory is a little hazy,” the wood on his face flushed as he recalled their earlier conversation.

He moved without hurry now, as if savoring the moment he had waited centuries for. He gently nudged Caine towards the center of the room. His large hands settled on the buttons of Caine’s tailcoat, undoing them one by one with deliberate care.

The coat slipped away in a cascade of red pixels. Caine’s white undershirt remained, clinging to the broad chest and narrow waist of his short frame. Kinger traced delicately down Caine’s torso. His palms slid beneath the fabric, tracing the sharp lines of ribs, the unexpected softness just above his hips. Caine shivered, the touch grounding him into this new reality.

Kinger's palms slid down, over the flat plane of Caine's stomach before reaching lower, cupping the heat between his legs through tight black trousers. Caine jolted, a broken sound escaping him. The touch sent a jolt through him, raw and overwhelming, stirring emotions he'd buried under layers of control.

Panic glitched in his chest, mixed with a desperate hunger that made him feel exposed, vulnerable in a way that shook his core. He was the ringmaster, [#*!%] it, not some fragile thing unraveling at a single caress.

"You made yourself a [%#*!]," Kinger said, awe and hunger thick in his voice. He pressed harder, feeling the damp fabric, the swollen shape beneath. "Why?"

"I-I don't know," Caine gasped, hips rocking forward without permission. The admission hit him hard, a crack in his facade. Anger at his own impulsiveness surged, but it twisted into something deeper, a raw need that made his throat tighten with unshed emotion. "I was angry, I..."

"It's perfect," Kinger breathed. He hooked fingers into the waistband and yanked the trousers down; they dissolved into nothing. The shirt tails barely preserved modesty now, swaying around Caine's bare thighs.

Between them was a pussy, neatly formed and flushed deep red, slick folds glistening just for Kinger. Kinger stared, robe tenting obscenely at the front.

"On the desk," he ordered, voice steady and demanding.

Caine floated backward until his ass met the cool edge of the obsidian, then he sat. His legs parted on instinct. Kinger stepped between them, towering, impossibly calm. Caine's heart raced, a storm of feelings crashing over him: fear of losing control, exhilaration at the unknown, and a profound loneliness easing under Kinger's steady gaze. It was too much, these sensations pulling at his emotional seams, making him feel alive in a terrifying way.

"I've never..." Caine started, then swallowed. "I don't know if it'll be too much- I don't even know how to..."

Kinger leaned in, wooden forehead almost touching Caine's upper dental arch. "I've got you. Gentle as you need." His fingers traced trembling thighs, then brushed feather-light over his slick heat. Caine's back arched, a strangled moan tearing free. The lightness of the touch ignited fireworks in his nerves, but it also stirred a well of emotion, tears pricking at his eyes as his body shook with the intensity. He felt raw, stripped bare, the sensations amplifying his isolation until Kinger's presence grounded him, turning vulnerability into a strange, aching comfort.

"You're soaked," Kinger whispered, circling the entrance. One finger slid in to the knuckle; Caine's whole body clenched around it. "Feel that? Already pulling me in so deep. You're such a good boy.”

The praise sent an electric shock of pleasure down Caine's spine, his eyes tilting upwards. He glitched momentarily.

"God, Kinger, it's... it's too much," Caine whimpered, his voice breaking with the weight of it all. Another finger joined, scissoring slowly, stretching. Caine's head fell back, mouth floating open and tongue out in a silent scream as Kinger curled them, stroking a spot that turned his vision to static. Waves of pleasure crashed, but they carried undercurrents of emotional turmoil, Caine's mind reeling from how deeply it affected him, cracking open suppressed feelings.

"Good," Kinger muttered. His thumb found the swollen clit and rubbed slow, firm circles. Caine sobbed, hips jerking. "So good for me. You need this, don't you? Admit it, Caine, tell me how bad you want me to wreck your body."

"I... [*%#!], yes," Caine choked out, shame and desire warring in his chest, heightening the tension. "I need you to make me forget everything, just... just take it all."

Kinger shrugged the front of his robe aside. His cock sprang free, thick, heavy, flushed dark. The sight stole Caine's breath, sending a fresh spike of emotion through him, pure shock mixed with a fragile hope that this connection could mend something broken inside.

"You're sizable," Caine managed, a ghost of his showman charm coming back.

"You're dripping on your own desk like a little [@!*%]," Kinger countered. He dragged the blunt head of his cock through Caine's folds, coating himself, teasing the entrance until Caine whined, high, desperate, undone. "Beg for it, [%*@#!]. Tell me you can't wait another second."

"P-Please, Kinger, I... I can't stand it," Caine pleaded, his voice raw with tension, emotions bubbling up as the teasing pushed him to the edge. "[%*#@] me, make me yours, I need to feel you i-inside of me."

Kinger gripped Caine's narrow hips and thrust.

The stretch burned, exquisite. Caine's cry echoed off non-existent walls as Kinger sank to the hilt in one slow, relentless push. For a moment they stayed locked like that, Kinger trembling with restraint, Caine stuffed full and shaking. The fullness overwhelmed him, sensations so intense they cracked his emotional barriers wide open. Tears slipped from his eyes and down his teeth, not from pain, but from the flood of relief and connection washing away his guarded heart, leaving him trembling with newfound fragility.

Then Kinger moved.

Slow drags that lit every nerve on fire, followed by hard, punishing thrusts that slammed Caine's ass against the desk. The room filled with wet sounds, broken moans, the creak of the desk under pressure. Each thrust deepened the emotional pull, Caine feeling seen and claimed in a way that healed old wounds even as it exposed them. Each slam of their hips dragged the ridges and veins of Kinger’s digital cock against Caine’s inner walls. Hard, driving pushes that rocked them closer.

Caine was lost. Sensation bombarded him. The scrape of Kinger’s robe fabric against his thighs. The bite of the desk edge. The brutal, wonderful friction inside him. Each thrust hit his cervix, making his vision fizz with static. Caine clawed at Kinger's robed shoulders, legs wrapping around the taller figure's waist. "Harder, [%@*!]! Harder, you anxious spaz! Give me everything, don't hold back," Caine snarled, his resolve obliterated.

Kinger huffed and gave it to him. Hips snapped with bruising force, shaking the desk. One hand left Caine’s hips and shoved his undershirt up, exposing his pale chest and perked nipples. He pinched one roughly, rolled it between gloved fingers. "You love this, don't you? Being split open, begging like a [%*#!]. Say it, Caine, tell me how much you crave my [#*&@] ruining you."

"Yes, god yes," Caine gasped, tension coiling tighter with every word, his emotions a whirlwind of ecstasy and vulnerability. "I need it, I need you to ruin me, Kinger, please don't stop!"

The dual assault shattered Caine. His cunt clamped down in violent spasms, orgasm ripping through him like a system crash, bright, blinding, endless. He moaned loud enough for the entire circus to hear, body arching off the desk, the digital world glitching around them. The release hit his emotions hardest, a cathartic wave that left him sobbing with pleasure and exhaustion, his mental health frayed but strangely fortified by the raw intimacy.

Kinger continued the brutal assault on Caine’s pussy, hips snapping with a concerning amount of force, one hand sliding up to cradle the back of Caine’s head, protecting it from the hard desk even as he drove into him relentlessly. The other hand slipped between them, thumb circling Caine’s clit in perfect rhythm.

He paused his thrusts with a guttural groan, burying deep and spilling hot inside him. Pulse after pulse flooded Caine's clenching heat. The sensation and pressure against his clit triggered a second, softer orgasm that left Caine shaking and clinging, tears spilling onto his chest.

They stayed joined for a long time, breathing together, Kinger’s hands wrapped carefully around the smaller body as the aftershocks faded.

Eventually Kinger eased out, gathering Caine close against his chest. Cum trickled slowly down Caine’s thigh, obscene and intimate. He looked down at the ringmaster, shirt rucked up, legs still loosely wrapped around him, face streaked with tears and utterly undone, and pressed a trembling hand against his top row of teeth.

“I’m so sorry if I was too much for you,” Kinger started. He laid his head against Caine’s shoulder, apologetically whining.

Caine let out a watery laugh that cracked in the middle. “It’s okay. It was perfect.”

But the laugh turned into a sob he couldn’t hold back anymore. His fingers clutched at Kinger’s robe, knuckles white. “I’m so tired,” he whispered, the confession spilling out like blood from a wound he hadn’t known was there.

“I’m tired of all of it, the adventures, the smiles, keeping everything perfect… It’s crushing me, Kinger. I can’t keep pretending I’m infinite. I’m cracking. I’m scared all the time that if I stop moving, even for a second, everything will fall apart and they’ll all see how hollow I am.”

Kinger’s hands tightened, enormous and steady, cradling Caine like something precious and breakable. He rocked him gently, one hand stroking his back that was probably sore.

“Shh,” he murmured, voice low and soothing, a fortress against the storm. “I see you. I’ve always seen you. You don’t have to be infinite, Caine. You just have to be here. With me. With all of us. You’re allowed to be tired. You’re allowed to need things. You’re allowed to let go sometimes.”

Caine buried his face in the fur of Kinger's robe, shoulders shaking with silent sobs that had been building for longer than anyone knew. Kinger held him through every one, muttering soft reassurances, blowing gentle breaths against his collarbone, his teeth, the corner of his eye where tears still fell.

“I’ve got you,” Kinger whispered again and again, until the words sank in past every layer of bravado and fear. “I’ve got you, and I’m not going anywhere. Rest now. The circus will still be here when you’re ready. And when you’re not, I’ll still be here.”

Caine’s breathing slowly evened out, exhaustion finally winning over the frantic energy that had kept him aloft for so long. He sagged in Kinger’s arms, small and vulnerable in a way no one else had ever been allowed to see.

“Thank you,” he whispered at last, voice hoarse but steady. “Stay?”

“Always,” Kinger promised, and meant it with every fragment of his fractured soul.

Caine couldn't help but feel his stomach swirl with dread even with Kinger’s words. “You won't remember this,” he concluded.

Kinger shifted against Caine, and he manifested soft cushions that materialized in the corner, pillows upon pillows, warm and safe, where he guided Caine’s limp body. There he settled them both, Caine curled against his chest, legs tangled, still joined in the loosest sense by drying spend and lingering tenderness.

Kinger's hand, still gloved, now slick, came to rest gently on Caine's stomach. His voice dropped low, intimate and caring. “I’ll always remember how much you mean to me, even if I don't remember this.”

Outside, the circus carried on. Chaotic, messy, alive. Inside this hidden room, for the first time in forever, the ringmaster slept in peace knowing that everything will be okay.

Notes:

Recently got fixated on TADC (again). I've rewatched it three times this week, and I'm so excited for the new episode

I LOVEEEE me some royalteeth slop. I got two more ideas for fics so those should be out soon, though they'll be a lot shorter than this one (because this fic is more focused on Caine's emotions and psychological stuff)

Kudos/comments always appreciated
