The Sky Is Leaking Chat

Summary:

A System glitch leaks six transmigrators’ messages across the Grand Line.

Now the pirates know the future.
They know who lives. Who dies.
And exactly what Law thinks about Zoro, Sanji, and the fact that he refuses to choose.

It all starts when a mysterious box appears before the eyes of Emperors and pirates alike—and the sky itself begins to talk.

NotADoctor: look me in the eye and tell me Zoro and Sanji aren’t a literal buffet.
Oden_Kin2.0: I’m just saying, if Ace smiles one more time I will commit crimes.
PineappleParent: I refuse to be involved in this discussion. (They’re hot, yoi.)
JudgeJudybutGothic: I regret transmigrating.
BluePrincess: WHAT IS HAPPENING
PinkPanic: why is the future Like This???

Luffy chokes on his meat.
Nami tightens her grip on Vivi’s sleeve.
Buggy laughs. Crocodile scowls. Mihawk does not blink.

The transmigrators think they’re coordinating in secret.
The world is watching.
No one is allowed to warn them.

Canon doesn’t stand a chance.

Chapter 1: The Privacy Settings Are Broken

Chapter Text

The blue screen didn’t care that Trafalgar Law was in the middle of a delicate surgery. It didn’t care that Mihawk was sipping expensive wine, or that Koby was scrubbing a deck. It just appeared, shimmering with a digital hum that only the “Players” could hear—but that the entire world could see.

System_1: Welcome, Users! You’ve officially entered the new Chat and Messages feature. Exciting, isn’t it?

System_2: Exciting? I’d call it mandatory. We’ve decided it’s best for all six of you to communicate here.

System_3: Mandatory, yes, but also… fun. Very, very fun.

System_4: And extremely useful for your missions. Don’t worry, we’ll be watching… in a friendly way.

System_5: Friendly… ish. Mostly friendly. Okay, somewhat friendly.

System_6: Just have fun, you know? Try not to break the world. Too badly.

Trafalgar Law: Oh, wonderful. Just what I needed.

Trafalgar Law: …Finally. A System? I’ve been performing surgeries in this world for months hoping I wasn’t actually losing my mind.

Dracule Mihawk: A ‘Developer Chat.’ Amusing. I assume the rest of you also remember a world with indoor plumbing and Wi-Fi?

Yamato: GUYS!! FRIENDS!! I’m not alone!! I’ve been stuck on this island playing Oden for so long I almost forgot who I really am!

Marco: Quiet down, yoi. This is a mess. I thought I was the only one who died and woke up in the One Piece world.

Vivi: I was so scared! I’ve been trying to follow the Alabasta plot perfectly so I didn’t trigger a ‘Game Over.’

Koby: I’m a cabin boy on Alvida’s ship! Someone help me! Luffy hasn’t even punched her yet! I’m going to be stuck scrubbing decks forever!

Across the Grand Line, time seemed to stop.

Aboard the Moby Dick, the air went cold. Whitebeard looked up at the giant, shimmering screen in the sky. He glanced at Marco, whose thoughts were now visible to the entire world.

“Died and woke up…?” Thatch whispered, holding a tray of pasta.
“Marco… isn’t Marco?”
“Shh,” Whitebeard rumbled, eyes sharp. “Look at what they’re saying. They think we can’t see this.”

Aboard the Red Force, Shanks’ jaw nearly hit the deck.
“Mihawk… is a ‘Foreign Soul’? What is an internet?”
“Focus, Captain,” Benn Beckman muttered, eyes glued to the screen. “They’re talking about the future.”

Trafalgar Law: We need to establish the timeline. Koby, you said Luffy hasn’t even started? I’m currently in the North Blue.

Vivi: I’m undercover in Baroque Works. It’s early days.

Yamato: I’m still chained up on Onigashima!

Marco: Then we are in the ‘Golden Window,’ yoi. Listen—Thatch is currently alive and standing ten feet away from me.

Trafalgar Law: The Yami Yami no Mi.

Marco: Exactly. Teach is going to kill him for that fruit soon if canon holds. If we save Thatch, Ace never leaves to hunt Teach. If Ace doesn’t leave… Marineford never happens. Whitebeard stays alive.

Koby: We have to save him! I hate Akainu. I don’t want him getting the satisfaction of a war!

Trafalgar Law: Agreed. That man’s ‘Absolute Justice’ is a blight on humanity. If I get the chance, I’m Gamma-Knifing him into the sun. But first, Teach. Marco, neutralize him before he finds the fruit.

Marco: I’ve tried to be subtle, yoi. But the ‘Plot’ is strong. Every time I try to warn Pops, the System shocks me with a ‘Character OOC’ warning. I have to stay in character.

Dracule Mihawk: We all do. If the ‘locals’ find out we know the future, the World Government will hunt us down.

SYSTEM: You may choose a display name to mask your true identity in chat.

Trafalgar Law: NotADoctor. Perfect.

Marco: PineappleParent, yoi.

Dracule Mihawk: JudgeJudybutGothic. Naturally.

Yamato: Oden_Kin2.0!!

Koby: PinkPanic. Yes.

Vivi: BluePrincess.

Yamato: WE ARE SO GOOD AT THIS! Secret agents!!

Whitebeard looked at the screen, then at Marco, then back at the screen.
“They think…” he whispered, sweat breaking out on his brow.
“They think we can’t see this.”

Aboard the future Thousand Sunny Luffy would probably be laughing. But for now, only the Red-Haired Pirates were fully aware.

“Mihawk… a secret agent,” Shanks cackled, clutching his stomach.
“Oh, I am never letting him live this down!”

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION: ALL PLAYERS RECEIVED 100 ‘STORY POINTS’ FOR SUCCESSFUL CLOAKING.]

NotADoctor: See? The System says we’re perfectly hidden. No one has a clue.

Oden_Kin2.0: WE’RE GENIUSES!
