Chapter Text
If there was a thing Andy knew, was that Miranda couldn't say no to her.
Well she could if she wanted, but most of the time she simply let things slip away.
Even though she sometimes had to scold Andy for her behavior, since they had been together, Miranda had become more incline to making her point in bed instead. But there were some days in particular, where Andy really enjoyed teasing her lover, especially at work.
"Andrea" Miranda's voice flew across her office, spreading across the desks of her assistants right outside.
Emily took a quick glance at Andy, simply for the fact that Miranda's voice always made her snap, she then returned to the phone call she was just about to get before that brief distraction.
Miranda heard the fast clacking of Andy's shoes and rolled her eyes, holding back a tiny smile.
"yes Miranda?" she stopped in front of her, not even trying to hold back her smile.
Her full lips curling up, making her eyes smile too, almost made Miranda whimper.
She held herself back as always.
"Andrea could you be more heavy footed dear? I think they didn't hear you walk over here down at the first floor" Miranda's eyes stayed on the photos scattered across her desk while speaking, but didn't miss Andy's eye roll at her comment "anyway, we need to get this photoshoot redone all over again, this photos are so inadequate I can't even find a word to describe how I feel just looking at it."
Andrea chuckled softly, finding Miranda's way of expressing her disappointment way too cute to be scared of her.
"I expect perfection and nothing less. I also expected everybody to know by now, but apparently I constantly need to repeat myself around here" only at that moment their eyes met, and Miranda noticed her girlfriend's smile, making her head tilt to one side "...something funny?"
"no... no, no no. It's just..." Andrea smiled sweetly this time "I find you very, very..." she started walking slowly, reaching Miranda next to the desk and finished her sentence in a whisper "very... sexy when you're all bossy"
Miranda closed her fists in her lap, clearly trying to control herself.
"I'm not bossy at all, I simply don't allow myself to glide over incompetence and not say a thing"
"you're bossy, deal with it..."
Miranda rolled her eyes, but this time didn't reply. Her cheeks became a light shade of pink and her mouth twitched for a second.
Andy chuckled and made her index finger slowly slide on the back of Miranda's neck, making her shiver.
"Andrea."
The soft and whispered warning made Andy smile even more, but she decided to have pity of her lover and took a few steps away from her.
Miranda finally started breathing again and continued her speech after clearing her throat.
"I was saying... please let Nigel know that apparently nobody here knows how to properly do a photoshoot if not him, so I'll need him to leave whatever he's doing right now and get here as soon as possible"
Andrea nodded and turned to walk out of the office, when Miranda's voice called for her attention again.
"I wasn't finished dear."
"Sorry" Andrea turned again and got back in front of Miranda, now standing behing the desk.
"I hope you remember that we need to attend the party Donatella has organised this evening, make sure Emily remembers too"
Andrea looked at her for a moment and then whined under her breath.
"But-"
"I know darling..." her voice softer now "I promise we won't be there for too long, we'll get back home as soon as possible"
Andrea stood there for a moment, than moved again, leaning over the desk, reaching for Miranda's mouth. Their lips brushing as she spoke.
"I hope you know that I'm already very... very... wet, since you've been teasing me all morning before work today."
Miranda looked at her with her surprised icy blue eyes, but didn't move an inch away.
"Andrea..." her name came out as a whispered please and she immediately smiled.
"yes sweetheart?"
"please... we're at work"
Andrea smiled and left a tiny kiss on her lips.
"that's the fun part, you would look as near to perfection as possible with your lipstick smudged and your skirt rolled up, while I eat you out on this very desk"
Miranda's eyes widened and her breathing became faster for a moment. Than she collected enough strength to be the reasonable one.
"well, I'm flattered dear" her british accent now rising to the surface, since Miranda was trying so hard to be as composed as possible "but again, I have to kindly decline your offer. Even though it would be very nice to let you do whatever you want, as I'm sure you'd do a great job at eating me out, I fear I have to remind you where we are"
Andrea rolled her eyes and stepped away from Miranda after claiming another brief kiss.
"Please dear, remember to call Nigel and see if Emily needs any change of clothes before we leave for the party" she took a quick glance at the clock "you have two hours until we leave."
Andy nodded and sent her a flying kiss, making Miranda's eyes roll again, before getting back to her work.
As she got outside the office, she met Emily's gaze and smiled joyfully.
"For Christ's sake Andy... since the two of you have been together this office feels like an episode of Friends" Emily snorted crossing her legs.
Andy smiled at her and leaned on her desk.
"because we finally feel like family even though we are friends?"
"No, because I have to watch all of you flirt here and there and have serius relationships while I'm the only one that doesn't have sex" she moved to the side of her desk while angrily throwing a piece of paper into the small bin "when the hell did I become the Chandler Bing of the group?!"
Andy chuckled sweetly and sat on the desk while still facing Emily.
"Weren't you and Serena sort of dating?"
"We were, before she moved in with her former boyfriend"
Andy frowned and tilted her head to the side.
"I thought - I mean... I kinda thought she was a lesbian..."
"well, I thought that too, but apparently I was wrong" Emily snorted bitterly, tapping furiously on the keyboard "not a big deal though, I have always liked older women anyway, if I may dare to say, we apparently have something in common after all"
"Believe me, you don't want to get yourself into that kind of stuff. Miranda is my love and life until I have to wait for her to decide which scarf she feels more appropriate for the day because, and I quote, it's not the cold that gets you my dear, but the humidity in the air"
Emily chuckled and finally relaxed on her chair while smiling at Andrea.
"I'd have given anything to see your look of discomfort" she crossed her arms and smiled openly "yet still, I have to admit I still do find Miranda very attractive."
Andrea leaned forward and whispered into Emily's ear, after taking a quick glance around them.
"I don't mind sharing" she got back to her place and hopped off the desk "well, sometimes obviously"
Emily blushed immediatly and grabbed onto the desk for support, while looking at Andrea with wide eyes.
"are you completely mad?!"
"What?" Andrea chuckled "I'm quite serious, we have actually talked about you sometimes and Miranda thinks the same of you as you do of her"
"She what... she-" Emily shook her head and grabbed her water bottle with trembling hands.
"Do the two of you know that I can hear you from my office, right?!" both Andy and Emily snapped their head to one side, just to find Miranda leaning against the glass door, arms crossed, glasses on the tip of her nose and lips pursed "want me to bring you some coffee and bisquits too? So that you can enjoy your chit chat instead of doing your job?!"
"Sorry Miranda" Emily mumbled, immediately getting back to her furious tapping on the keyboard.
"God Miranda, how long have you been there?" Andy rapidly moved to her desk and grabbed her phone, remembering she was supposed to call Nigel and inform him that Miranda needed him as soon as possible.
"Long enough to know that it is only your fault if Emily isn't doing her job properly today, my dear." She grinned and stared at Andy dead in the eyes, making her freeze on her chair. She looked at her for what felt as an infinite period of time, then only hissed a glacial "move" and disappeared again into her office.
8:45 p.m.
Miranda hadn't spoken to both Andy nor Emily for the rest of the day, not even while in the car, heading to the party.
Emily had started panicking soon after they had been scolded by Miranda a few hours before and Andrea had tried to calm her in every way possible, failing miserably.
"If she fires me because of your horniness, I will have your head on the chopping block" Emily hissed under her breath, while stepping up the stairs next to Andy, while both following Miranda.
Andy gave her an amused smile and took a look at her .
Emily wore a long, one-shoulder blue dress, covered in tiny stones that shimmered with her every movement. It perfectly wrapped her body and Andrea was sure that Miranda had spent a good few minutes looking at Emily from her car seat, and even if she had tried so hard not to get caught, Andy knew her too damn good not to notice.
"don't look at me with that smile" Emily rolled her eyes "I'm serious"
"Miranda would never fire you, come on, she loves us... we'll in different ways of course, but still"
"Well, you may never know" Emilyshe tried to hide a smile, but yet again failed.
Andrea wore a magnificent lilac silk dress, simple and regal, since Miranda had chosen that dress for her days before the event.
The sleeves were made of a sheer silk that let her skin show in a chast way, while on her neck a gemstone necklace shined under the flashing lights.
Miranda was as always wearing a long dress with big sleeves that made her look even more intimidating.
Andrea looked at her with loving eyes, but didn't dare get too close to her while still outside of the building, even though it was mostly common knowledge that they were a couple, she didn't want them to be the main topic of the newspaper that day.
So she sticked to the part of the second assistant until the three of them were all settled and ready to get inside and head for the party.
"Andrea, Emily, quit your chit chat and get here"
Her voice got to them unexpectedly, but somehow made them both sigh with relief. They almost run next to Miranda and while Andy grabbed her hand, not even noticing for a moment, Emily felt so happy to be there with them that couldn't resist but grab her and enter the room arm in arm.
Miranda looked at both her sides with wide eyes, and found the two younger women smiling and giggling with each other.
"I hope you two are drunk, because I don't want to believe that this is what you look like sober"
Andrea smiled at her and left a soft kiss on her cheek.
"oh come on Miranda, just say you like us"
"I do like both of you, when you act like adults and not as naughty children"
At that moment a spark got through Andy's head. She smiled and leaned back slightly, meeting Emily's gaze behind Miranda's back and mouthed "watch this".
"I thought you liked it."
"What?" Miranda looked at her with a glacial glare and slowed her walking pace.
"When I'm naughty" Andy smiled innocently.
Miranda gasped and immediately covered her mouth with one hand. Her cheeks started to gain a faint shade of pink and Andrea couldn't stop herself but smile sweetly.
"Lovely reaction I'd say, don't you think Emily"
Emily smiled shyly and nodded, still not sure how deep into this game she could actually step without making Miranda uncomfortable.
"Whatever it is you two are trying to do needs to end. Right now." Miranda's husky voice was supposed to scare them, but it only provoked a slight shiver of pleasure down Emily's spine and and made a wide smile appear on Andy's face.
They both let go of her and Miranda started walking faster across the great hall, looking for a table to grab a flûte filled with white wine.
She took a few sips, finally relaxing a bit after her work day and her mind started going places the moment she saw Andrea and Emily talking close to each other. Their hands brushing against each other and their lips whispering something next to each other's ears.
She bit her lower lip without even knowing and almost shot down what remained of her wine.
When she opened her eyes she found Andrea next to her, smiling sweetly and gently caressing her hip.
"Are you okay honey?" she sounded sincerely interested and Miranda melted into her arms in just a second.
"yes, I just needed a moment"
Andrea smiled at her and kissed her gently on her lips.
"something wrong?" she smiled with amusement, already knowing the answer to her question.
"don't act like you don't know what you did to me the whole day"
"so you're not angry with me and Emily?"
"I'm not angry with you two, as long as you do you job properly"
Andrea nodded and kissed her hand.
"As you wish my Queen"
Miranda rolled her eyes and smiled sweetly.
"how long do you plan on staying at this party? Because I may have some plans in mind and-"
"you don't say" Miranda looked at her and tried to hold a smile.
"-I wasn't finished dear... I may have some plans, that may or may not include Emily"
Miranda looked at her with wide eyes and grabbed her wrists.
"You wh- you what?"
"I have seen the way you look at her, that dress is spectacular of course, but somehow I get the feeling that you're much more attracted to the person that is wearing it"
Miranda frowned and shook her head immediately.
"No, Andy, love, no... I mean-"
Andrea interrupted her immediately and placed a kiss on her cheek.
"Hey, no no wait... I'm most certainly not scolding you Miranda" Andy smiled gently at her.
Miranda looked at her and tilted her head to the side while waiting for her to continue. Her defense mechanism starting to build up as soon as she felt cornered. Reminiscent of the time she had to confront her sexuality and attraction for Andy with Stephen.
"I was suggesting quite the opposite"
"Dear, I beg you to be as clear as possible as we're entering a field that makes me very uncomfortable"
Andrea gently kissed her shoulder and stroked her belly.
"I was kind of asking you if you would mind having Emily to join us tonight"
"After the party?" Miranda regarded her with a confused look "I guess we will all be a bit tired after this so I don't see how we could possibly-"
"God honey I meant in bed!" Andy held back a laughter, finding Miranda's lack of wittiness after just one glass of wine quite lovely.
Miranda frowned and almost choked on her last sip of wine, finally understanding what she was suggesting.
