I loved Ilya's characterization in this fic. He's still a lil shit deep down, but he's a more matured version of himself. Very believable character growth that I think stays true to who Ilya is as a person. Recommended even for people who aren't big on kid fics. The kid is 17yo here and while he's a significant character the story doesn't completely revolve around him.
