Summary
Astarion knows fairy tales are just that, stories told to the downtrodden to keep hope alive. They're not real. A knight in shining armor didn't save him from Cazador, after all. Astarion knows better than to dream. That is, until a certain Blade of Frontiers comes along and changes everything. Being a monster hunter is hard enough when you're one of the monsters you hunt; how is he supposed to manage hiding his true nature when the charming Blade is just so insistent on being friends?
