Yoo Joonghyuk doesn't like streaming.
Sure, the gaming aspect is fun, but having people constantly tell him where to go or what items to get or what walls glitch his character into levitation really makes the whole thing exhausting. All he wants to do is occasionally play ranked Valorant, get enough money to pay the bills, and live a quiet life with his sister.
He would much rather the pro-gaming aspect, but as tournaments rarely happen, his popularity usually dwindles if he doesn't do 70 contract hours a month dedicated to streaming.
So, after he gets home from sending off Yoo Mia to her school, he boots up Twitch and sets a title for his stream - [mandated 2.5 hr stream. watch so i get paid according to contract.] and presses [Go Live].
Thousands of viewers flood in, most of whom are yapping about his streaming during their work or school hours, and he waits for his moderators to arrive.

Yoo Joonghyuk waits for confirmation from Uriel or Han Sooyoung that the account is safe to show on stream, then goes to the search bar.

Yoo Joonghyuk winces at the volume, practically yanking off his headphones as his chat explodes with laughing emotes.
A notification shows up on Reading4Evr's screen.

"Really helpful. How do I get back to a savepoint, I'm stuck in an inaccessible area and the game autosaves every five minutes and I'm RUNNING OUT OF TIME."
The lack of face camera didn't seem to stop Reading's chat from laughing at him.

Reading grumbled into his microphone, voice distraught.
"See, this is why I can't play games anymore. Either somehow I find something that breaks, or I get judged for accidental speedrunning. Chat, none of this is my fault."
Yoo Joonghyuk snorts, then pauses in horror as his chat blows up.

Yoo Joonghyuk coughs, trying to come up with an explanation, then remembers how much power he has over everyone in the chat and stares into the camera.
"I'm doing an ad break."

When the chat returned from the ad break, the first thing they noticed was that their streamer was still watching Reading4Evr’s stream.
“As requested by MonkeyKing, I’ll be sending a donation to Reading4Evr letting him know he says hi. I’ll also be adding my own message about the stream as courtesy.”

Reading4Evr stopped shouting, silence filling the stream.
Did I say something wrong?
“... Thank you SupremeKing for the 50. Tell Wukong I say hi. And… This is… this isn’t fake, right?”

“Ah. What’s a celebrity doing in my chat, anyway? Also, my chat doesn’t really talk, so you don’t need to donate for me to see your messages.”
SupremeKing: I’m doing a donation stream where I check out channels recommended to me by my chat, and the first donation received was for you.
SupremeKing: I wouldn’t consider myself a celebrity, though. I just happen to be popular primarily against my will.
Reading snorted into the mic (which was noticeably quieter, thankfully) and cheerfully spoke. “Well, you’re a pro-gamer who happens to stream every once in a while. Plus, the viewership just spiked, which isn’t exactly normal either.”
SupremeKing: You seem to be a good entertainer, what are you doing with 2k viewers only?
“You’re asking that like I know how I got two thousand viewers in the first place. Which, for the record, I don’t. I assume the main reason is because I’m also known for glitching most if not all games I’ve played on stream.”
SupremeKing: How many games have you played, Reading4Evr?
Reading paused at that. “Call me Dokja, I chose that username because I ran out of ideas. And I’ve played about 41 games per year on stream, so 123 total.”
Yoo Joonghyuk stilled, frowning. “That’s… a lot of games.”

Yoo Joonghyuk stretched, sighing as he watched the stream timer ticked down to the final minute.
“Thank you for watching, everyone. I’ll be streaming again tomorrow at the same time. Don’t miss it.”
His eyes wandered to the chat, where people were discussing the streamers he’d watched or shouted out.

“I’m sending you all off. Don’t cause trouble for him.”

After he pressed [End Stream], he opened up Youtube, searching up Reading4Evr’s channel in hopes of finding his Discord.
